I would like to go back and explore more of their offerings as it is a huge store and I had very little time. They do offer "officially licensed" Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs shirts, hats, socks, water bottles, blankets, etc. at what appears to be a reasonable prices and there is quite a plethora of styles and options! The checkout line moved quickly and each team member was friendly, welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Thank You!

While in Chicago i had to stop at this adidas originals because these locations tend to have things other locations don't have. Due to the pandemic the store did have a flow they wanted you to walk through which was perfectly fine. In the middle of the store was a shoe wall and to the left where are the clothes. On the far right behind the shoe wall where the Y-3's, which I love but are so freaking expensive. I browsed for a bit and found a shirt. What's great is they they give you a fresh shirt in package which is wonderful during these times. And they'll hold it up front for you so you don't even need to carry it around . Even better so my arms think they are free and I shop more! They are not dummies! I found my jersey I wanted and checked out. They scanned my creators club card so I got my membership points and any applicable discount and sent me on my way.

When I checked the Adidas website for new items, most of the stuff online is what I saw in store. They also carry IVY Park and Y-3. When we walked in, we did not get greeted by a gentleman even though he was staring right at us/right by the door. Lol, sort of odd he did that. Anyways, we had a fantastic experience being assisted to by Ashley; she answered all of our questions and in general, was just very nice. The good thing about this store is that if you like something on shelves, they'll give you the same item unopened from their stock room. Nice during COVID ensuring it hasn't been touched or tried on by others.

Check out was a breeze, and in less than 5 minutes I was on my way home with my new purchase. 5 star service Champs!

He claimed that I buy shoes and "return them every week" just because this was my second purchase with the incorrect pair. At this point, I don't see how a store manager can be so rude and have no remorse towards his customers. Do not go into this location seeking for help because neither the "manager" nor store employees will do it. Also, I had to go online and try to order my own shoe, I guess they need more training on that haha.

Stopped by last week to pick up a few bags and tees I missed online and had a successful haul. My wife even found a Sci-Fi Fantasy Tee she liked. The reason this store is my favorite has to be the staff, their positive vibes, and they all seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. I asked for 3 rounds of different shirts a backpack and some accessories, and the employee (I'm sorry I forgot your name) went back and forth every time with a smile. We chopped it up for a while about it being my favorite location and he hooked me up with a box logo sticker from the opening in 2022 along with a few others I've been looking for (Mahalo). I always make it a point to stop by this location when I'm in the city, catch you in the spring time.

Never in my life have I been treated so poorly at ANY store…read more Not only were they inattentive, they do not have any shopping carts or bags to help you carry items around the store. In the city of Chicago, you are a charged a bag tax, in order to discourage the use of plastic bags. As such, I brought my own reusable shopping bag, to carry my items out of the store. When I found a pair of shoes I liked, I put them in my reusable shopping bag to hold as I continued my rounds around the store. The manager approached me and communicated that it was not ok to do this. I explained that I intended on purchasing them, but was just using the bag to carry them around the store as I continued my search, instead of carrying them in my hand. I asked if he would rather I hold them in my hand. He said he could hold the shoes at the front. I really did not like that interaction, the way he spoke to or treated me, and his lack of understanding, but ultimately, I understood and cooperated. Despite this interaction, I continued to look for shoes. I found another pair, that I was now holding in my hand and was not in the bag. The manager approached me again and this time told me I had to leave the store because I had put the original pair of shoes in my reusable bag. Mind you, this entire time, I had never so much as gone near the exit of the store. I was simply looking at shoes, more toward the back. With the manager ready to escort me out of the store, I approached the check out area stating that I wanted to buy the shoes. He said I needed to go and it was a corporate policy. I asked if I could talk to his boss. He stated that he was the manager, or maybe even a position higher than that ( I don't recall the title) and that there was no one else I could talk to. I said "how does that make sense, that you are a store and you don't want me to buy these shoes" (the ones being held at the counter and the ones that were in my hand). I had to argue with him about buying shoes in a shoe store! Finally he agreed, and a cashier rung up the pair of shoes I had in my hand ( which I only purchased because they were on clearance and the last ones, and this was the day before the occasion I needed them for-Easter, so I was on a time crunch). He said that he could give me a customer service number to call. I asked his name, and he said Fernando. Who knows if it truly was his name. After I purchased the shoes I said "is it ok to put them in my bag now?" I was treated like a criminal and I bought the shoes anyway. I was so upset, that for the first time ever I called a customer service line to file a complaint. Naturally they listened to appease me, and I gave my contact information for follow up, but ultimately no follow up and nothing was done. Needless to say I will never return.

I had never shopped at Shoe Carnival before, so I wasn't sure what their stock would be like. I was very excited to find that they had 5-6 styles that fit the general shoe description I was looking for! I'm so picky about the way shoes feel, so I need a variety. So, I finally found a pair of shoes that I can wear, and they were only $40. If you're looking for high fashion, this is probably not the spot for you. But if you're looking for basics, comfortable shoes, that are very reasonably priced, this is a good spot to check out. Parking is easy--there's a big lot. It's also in a strip mall with a bunch of other stores, such as Dollar Tree and Joann Fabrics. The staff were kind. I chose 4 stars because, although it has the types of shoes I was looking for, it doesn't have a big variety of colors or certain types of shoes. Also, the register pay machine does not take Apple card from a phone. (It does take other types of cards via phone.)

Backcountry uses DoorDash for "last-mile" delivery in the city, but their security standards are nonexistent. In my case, the driver dropped my package in an unsecure, open area and failed to ring the doorbell or knock. Despite the fact that I worked from home on the day specifically to ensure I was present for deliveries, the package was stolen by a porch pirate before I even saw the notification. When I contacted customer service, they were completely dismissive. They refused to offer a reorder or investigate the delivery failure, essentially stating that their responsibility ends the moment the package touches the ground--regardless of where or how it was left. If you live in an urban area where package theft is a concern, do not trust this company with your money online. Their "completed delivery" policy offers zero protection against negligent couriers. Unless you can buy it in-store and walk out with it, I recommend taking your business to a retailer with more accountable shipping practices.
