My husband was bummed the Jordan store was closed on our trip, so I researched where else to go and found this place. we went on the morning we we're leaving and got there as soon as they opened. They were immediately friendly as soon as we walked in. the owner shook our hand and greates us. We found 4 pairs of sneakers, with the help of several employees and could of spent hours spending way more. Two (technically three words) to describe this place: Shady AF. Don't know how Nike and Jordan Brand continue to supply them with higher tier releases. First of all, footlocker and other legit footwear stores don't also have shoes for sale on consignment. Makes things seem a little fishy when a $200 shoe sells out, but the next day it's "available" for $450. Ask them about how they released the Jordan XI Cap and Gowns.. smh... They'll tell you it was an in-store raffle on launch day, even though they never posted or publicized any info. I was there the morning of the launch, they didn't raffle sh*^. When I asked more about this mysterious raffle they conducted, through DMing the store's Instagram, they blocked my account. I believe it was assistant manager Frono (@frono_upp) who blocked me. I would never wish ill will on another person, but I sure hope this business fails. read more

Super clean store with one of the best shoe walls I've seen in Chicago. The layout and how neat and tidy they keep the place is awesome. Very friendly staff and a pretty curated selection from what I've seen in Chicago. I've been to at least 7-8 sneaker stores here and the closest I've seen to LA's Melrose/Fairfax neighborhood is this place and Stash in Wicker Park. A few others in Chicago that I like as well but they just have smaller selections. Succezz in South Loop is definitely staying on my bookmarks. Good spot to stop in and see what's new or cop a new pair of kicks. Are you guys getting the AJ 1 Zoom-Racer Blue? If so put an 11.5 on the side for me! I know that, I was asking for advice and the only frame of reference that I had was what a certain shoe was going for on ebay. I am not a sneaker expert and do not pretend to be. OMG walked in here before the Bears Eagles game hoping to find a Bears hat for my boyfriend. Since there seemed to be absolutely no sports stores in the area I thought this place would have a selection because in Philly all sneaker or lifestyle shops do...Succezz did not in fact have any Bears hats but what they did have was crazy awesome people working there, incredible sneakers and a really cool vibe. There were two pairs of Nikes I wanted to get- didn't buy them then because I didn't think I'd be able to bring them into soldier field- but I took their card and hopefully can order them. August 4, 2012 Just moved to Chicago and was looking for the nearest sneaker spot releasing the Air Jordan IV Fire Red (picture of the shoe: http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz109/dat_dang28/IMG_20120804_171905.jpg) Called Succezz which was about a mile away from where I live and they said they were going to have them on release date (8.4.12). Woke up and walked to the shop and was impressed how the store was arranged. Asked the salesguy for my size and he said they had them but it was going to cost $250 which is $90 over retail. I told him he could keep the pair and left the store. These guys are straight up hypebeasts. $250? Good luck with that! I took the bus over to Footlocker on State. Walked in, asked for my size, walked out with my pair. For $160. The FTL salesperson said the store received 300 pairs. Wowzers! This is how every release should be. For Succezz to charge that much on a release that plentiful is a damn shame for such a nice store. I can cross Succezz off my list of go-to sneaker places. read more

It's sad to hear that people had bad customer service experiences with Succezz. Every single time I've gone in, called them (or, stalker called them seems to be more accurate in my case) or asked any questions to any of the staff, they've been nothing but super nice. Recently, I've had to make a number of phone calls for a pair of shoes I was trying to buy my Husband for Christmas. I called a couple of months before they were supposed to be released, called them again a month before they came out, and then called AGAIN the day they were supposed to get them. EVERY SINGLE time, they remembered me, they were nice to me, joked with me, and reassured me that my husband's "white elephat" pair would be there waiting. Sure enough, they were right there for me when I went to pick them up. Awesomeness. Succezz always gets the shoes that are limited releases and hard to find. With that, I'm sure people can get irritated with the "exclusivity" of it all, but if you give them a chance, you will be happy. The owner, Vel, knows all his products, takes time to chat with the customers, and is always great. I suggest that if you have any problems, to talk to him, and I'm sure he'll square everything away. I love to support Chicagoians in their ventures, and this is a local place I'll always recommend. read more

Great selection of shoes and clothes. I always check this place for the latest releases. The main reason for the low rating is that their customer service is crap. They're very nice when you walk in, a little pushy when you do wanna try on some shoes but what do you expect from a shoe salesman? But what irks me the most is that I wanted to special order a shoe so they took my name and number down and they said they would call me back within the next two business days. I didn't hear a word from them. I had to contact them via Facebook and he said that they're still working on getting me the shoes. That was about a week or two ago...haven't heard from them since. All they had to do was let me know that they're still working on trying to get my shoe and that it may take a little while. It's also happened to a friend of mine twice. Although they're a great store, if their customer service stays this bad, then I won't be going here to shop. read more

Just went here recently to window shop and glad that the staff in there was nice and friendly even after he learned that I was only there to know the prices and their stock of shoes he still helped me. They have the best selection of Nike and even the new ones are available in there. I now know their prices on the store and its just fair and reasonable, now I am planning to save for it. While I am not a collector of rare and hard to find sneakers, I do like picking up a cool pair of fashion focused shoes that are still comfortable and unique. They'll tax you on general release pairs and they back door like crazy and if there's pairs left they want $200 more on top of box price.... they got a couple of decent items on clothing, but I wouldn't cop kicks from at all. Amazing service- I have never felt so taken care of. All of the staff on site asked me about my style and wanted to know if there was anything they could recommend. They were having several great sales when I visited. BBC 50% off, adidas shoes 25% off, air maxs and nike running shoes on sale, and 50% off nike hoodies and shirts for $5. My son's eyes were wider than any Christmas morning, and admittedly I was nearly as excited. Better than the selection were the amazing folks who helped us.
