Nice security guard at the entrance, but that's about it for the positives.I visited a few resale sneaker stores several weeks ago to sell some shoes, and these guys were BY FAR the lowest bidders. Overall attitude by the staff seemed indifferent, almost slightly bothered that someone wanted to take a few minutes of their valuable time, I was literally the only customer in the store. On the other hand they were selling used Jordan 4 union for 575 and he want it to pay me 500 for my 2 dead stock pairs which was worth almost 1300 dollars . I came to this location because I was referred from sneaker heads that I can bring in my shoes I never wore to resell. I get to the shop and of which the owner looked at my shoes and me knowing how much they are worth. The owner then tried to low ball me on my expensive shoes and tried to explain that he goes by the lower price because then he sells them for the same low price that he was gonna pay me for my shoes. I rejected the offers and after I looked at the same shoes I had he was selling for DOUBLE THE PRICE! They also have a very good key game machine that has winners VERY OFTEN, I mean people can win 2 times a week sometimes for 5 dollars! And the ladies who work part time are very cool! I did take two shoes to sell an they weren't able to except my shoes nevertheless they explained the reasons which were more than understood . But I was so happy about my experience here ! I went and the staff truly make you feel appreciated . They make sure you are well taken care of an answer all your questions. They keep everything super clean which I highly appreciate with covid an all . Went to sell some shoes and waited in the middle of the store with a couple boxes for about 10 minutes and never got asked if I needed any help I had to chase down the employees for assistance. Boneyard has quickly become my favorite spot in Chicago for sneakers and clothing. Aside from the vast selection, the staff is some of the most knowledgeable and personable I've ever met. I very much appreciate their customer service and their overall approach to the culture. Jacob Griff and Tony are always great to speak with and they definitely have made their mark on Chicago streetwear culture. Prices are fair, and their in-house clothing and designs are awesome. Hit up eBay or Instagram sellers who have the same stuff at 1/2 the price. Want shoes? Hit up stock X for a better deal and a guarantee that they are authentic.
