He is very responsive when we have a problem and is easy to reach by phone or email. I've dealt with quite a few IT guys in my career and they can be quite intimidating to those who don't know computers and they are not always the most patient. Dan has a very easy going personality and has a patient demeanor with zero arrogance. He begins to tell us that water is coming down from his ceiling. WHAT?!! We open our bathroom and it's flooded!!! HELLA FLOODED!! First time homeowner (condominium here). They were unable to retrieve any data from a failed hard drive. I was unable to recognize the obvious clues.....So, I took a new, in the box computer to them to set up, with disks for software that I run. I had an external drive with a backup..... Long story very short. I picked it up, many days after it was promised.... No software had been installed, no needed files. Every file was left, uninstalled as an icon on the desk top. Nothing worked... Nothing. It was surreal.... Like a bad dream. After spending 150.00, and reading the glowing Yelp reviews, I really expected more. Don't be stupid and hopeful.....I'm just not sure why one would consider using this business.

Fix My PC - Fast, Honest, and So Worth It!…read more So I had this computer I really loved, but one day I accidentally spilled hot chocolate near it... and it got inside the computer. I tried to clean it up, but I guess I didn't do a great job, because after that, things slowly started going downhill. The screen would randomly go black, it lagged like crazy, and some of my games just wouldn't run right. After dealing with that for almost a year, I finally decided to have it looked at. I had taken it to another shop once before for a different issue, but they kept my PC for over a week and honestly, I don't think they diagnosed it properly--because the hot chocolate mess was never addressed, and the problems continued. This time, I found Fix My PC, and I'm so glad I did. The gentleman there was super kind and clearly knew what he was doing. The shop is small, but don't let that fool you--he's sharp. After a proper diagnosis, he found the issue: the video card had been damaged from the spill. He cleaned it out thoroughly and replaced the card--and had it all done in just 3 days! I couldn't believe it. Fast, accurate, and no upselling or runaround. Compared to the last place, which took a week just to figure things out and more time to change a part, Fix My PC was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend!
