Happened to come upon this place while away at a basketball tournament, and glad I did. Food was great and our waitress Celia was so personable and attentive. What a great evening!! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they didn't have the Sangria I'm used too, they made their's with orange soda(weird). If they make their's like we do here in Jersey they will definitely get 5 stars!!

All eyes were on me the moment I walked into the room

The service was good unfortunately the food was not. I guess it depends on which cook is working. I will not be back.

A rather interesting place to observe Western Massachusetts barflies.

Great place. Good food. Fun patio out back in the summer. Really fun comedy shows and DJ's. Great bar staff and owners.

The bar staff rips people off. So, if you want to pay $20 for 3 drinks in a dive bar, you've found the perfect place.

We started with the Portuguese style clams and then had Amelia's spicy shrimp which was to die for.

Not entirely thrilled unfortunately today…read more Went to T&P's around 2:00pm today after a trip to the zoo as my daughter wanted pasta. We were one of six tables within the facility that were occupied. Our server came over and greeted us after about five minutes of sitting, so we'd already knew what we wanted to order. We placed our order and waited about 37 minutes for the food to come out. During the time we waited, all the table next to us did was complain. They complained the music was too loud, they complained the service wasn't fast enough, and then when they got their check to pay, the server accidentally placed the itemized receipt of another table on their table. Good lord, that caused the man to absolutely flip out. Very loudly he goes "ARE YOU KIDDING, CANT THEY DO ANYTHING RIGHT?" which was so very offputting. He flagged the server down who apologized tenfold. Our food came out, it looked...well..you can see from the pictures. The mushrooms and calamari were just disappointing. The mushrooms were very dry and could have used a lemon wedge, if not some kind of sauce. The calamari I had specifically ordered because it was named "Calamari RINGS Rhode Island Style" but when it came out, the plate was full of the body/tentacle style which I do not eat. The breading was also not crispy in the least, it was soft and soggy. Calamari should have that crunch to offset the seafood. The marinara was also very watery. My daughter (8) thought her pasta was okay, she didn't touch the meatballs but we took her leftovers home. This was the first time I'd been to Tony and Penny's in over a dozen years. Unless menu items change, I more than likely won't be going back.

This is a very small place that's obviously old but was right near my jobsite on a recent work…read moretrip. I mainly visited since it was nearby, but also because they offered a standout Ruben, keyword 'offered' as in they don't have it anymore. My colleague loves Reubens but he ended up having to order something else furing our visit. This ended up being a good thing because he was super happy with his choice afterward. I looked over the menu and there were other menu items also crossed off, but still plenty of options to choose from. Their burgers are handpressed but only 6 oz. That is a little small for me, especially when I'm hungry. After conversing with the gentleman behind the counter about my options, we both agreed I should go with the spicy fried chicken sandwich. I ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich which comes with homemade fries and their homemade green tea with ginger and mint. My colleague ordered the pork cutlet sandwich and said it was amazing due to the apple chunks on the sandwich. Both were actually daily specials listed on their board to the right of the menu. My sandwich was quite large and spicy with the fresh jalapenos and a spicy sauce. It reminded me of the large chicken sandwich at Longhorn Steakhouse, but this one was even larger and better. The fries are fresh cut which made this meal perfect. This restaurant is truly nothing special from the outside appearance and both my colleague and I even thought it looked closed when we were driving by. He also said he doubts they have any seating, but we were both wrong. Don't doubt yourself about this restaurant. It is a truly hidden gem with some uniquely prepared foods waiting inside. They had limited beverages. I wanted regular iced tea, but ended up with the homemade green tea with mint and ginger which was pretty good, but no free refills. Service was of course excellent. I interacted with the gentleman a couple more times as I knew I'd need a lot more napkins to tackle this food.
