Solis helped save my life. Found my cancer and suspected bilateral and despite HonorHealth's doctors saying it was Stage 2, Solis was more accurate then Mayo Clinic! I was extremely impressed at the level of care and their extra attention to ensure my exams were accurate. The facility is also beautiful, it's not run as "clinic", so the rooms are never full despite being busy they do not seem hectic. My experience with Solis Mammography has been an absolute nightmare. Due to serious billing errors on their end, I was ultimately declined insurance coverage, and I have been trying--without success--to get this corrected for over 8 months. The most disturbing part: their billing records incorrectly indicated that I had breast cancer. I was never informed that I had breast cancer because I do not have breast cancer. This error has had real consequences, including insurance denial, and caused an enormous amount of unnecessary stress and fear. Every time I call, it's the same story--records are missing, lost, or incorrect. I am repeatedly asked to resubmit information I've already provided. There is no ownership, no follow-through, and no accountability. Each call feels like starting over from scratch. The level of incompetence is staggering, especially for a healthcare provider handling sensitive medical records and billing. This situation has been emotionally exhausting and completely avoidable with basic accuracy and care. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. This place is absolute garbage. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and treated, was required to get scanned every 6 months for 2 years. Never had an issue with insurance being billed until the last time where Solis failed to submit the claim in the required 1 year timeline (BCBS rules). Then sent us to collections for their mistake. Just added time and work on our part. I'd highly suggest going elsewhere, from what I'm researching, this is common for them. read more

February of 2025, I went in to get a Mammogram and Bone Density here at this location. I was mistakenly charged almost $66.00. My insurance informed me they should not have charged me. After repeated calls to billing, I have been repeatedly put off and made to feel like I was bothering them. Many excuses and still my money not returned. Here we are July 30th. Google reviews are filled with many patients that are owed money. It's unbelievable that I have not received my money. Approx 2 weeks ago someone responded on my Google review I believe an office mgr. and said someone would reach out to me. Noone did. Solis is a great place to have your Mammo done but their billing department is horrible. I called I received a bill for $723.00 I am a billing supervisor and notice this was done correct . called their billing dept Peryourhealth the person I spoke did not know what he was talking about. I called BCBS Rep stated my out of pocket was $178.53 I got a referral and I have - in and out of network benefits.I wrote an appeal letter to there billing manager and never got a reply. I received another bill for $723.00. call again now it say I was sent to collection???? I am totally upset at this point no feed back on my appeal or phone call or any correct adjustment was ever done. I finally spoke to a person by the name of carlya who knew what she was talking about she stated the adjustment were not done correctly meaning the person who applies their payments and adjustment . Been in healthcare almost 15 years, and I would never EVER recommend Solis. I will spread the word at Honorhealth, Banner, and Dignity st Joes. The staff answering the phone is very rude, and makes things harder when they should know it's already hard enough having to get multiple biopsies done. They don't communicate well - in the beginning didn't let me know that they were waiting on a release form.. good thing I called. Then I get the biopsies done, and Dr. Bravo said we will call you with the results the next day they will be read in the morning. Have I been notified yet? Of course not. Anyone in healthcare knows do not make promises on time because you never know what can happen. Give a range instead of a definite answer because it makes a patient lose trust... So here we are another sleepless night not knowing if all these masses are cancer. Please, if you're reading this go somewhere else. I would be horrified if my place of work operated this way. I wish I could say something nice but not one thing has gone well. Update: Called and was informed even though I was told results would be given yesterday, I'll get them when I get them. I've been here twice in the last few months for ultrasounds (COVID vaccine swelling) and both experiences were excellent. Reception was efficient, and I liked that they used tablets for registration. The lobby is comfortable and quiet. My wait wasn't too long in either the lobby or the changing area. The changing area had lockers named after what I assume is a theme of strong women. Nice touch! I got Mae West one time and Oprah the other. Not bad. The actual scan was quick and without hassle. The first one took about 10 minutes, the recheck was less than five. Both times, the doctor examined the imagines with minutes and let me know the results before I left. It was casual and stress-free. read more

I'd rather do almost anything else than get a mammogram, but this place made it bearable. When I arrived the waiting room was calm and nearly empty (in sharp contrast to my experiences with other providers). Despite being way early for my appointment, they took me in shortly after my arrival. The dressing room was a nice surprise. Each locker bore the name of an important woman in history. Most important, the staff was extremely kind, patient and attentive to my needs. They took the time to help me through what is usually an anxiety-inducing procedure for me. They actually brought in a second tech to help me make it through while they got the scans they needed. Best of all, the equipment is better in the sense that they had a curved paddle, and that they had several sizes, which reduced the pain and discomfort I normally experience during a mammogram. If you have to get a mammogram, I definitely recommend Solis over the other local options. read more

I do not recommend going here, especially if you need to deal with the "billing department." I have been trying to get reimbursed for a mammogram since January and every time I have called, I get the runaround. I made the mistake of paying beforehand (at their request) and then my insurance ended up fully covering it. The billing department has told me everything from they don't handle billing for Solis to I need to wait longer for it to clear insurance (even though I had proof that it did) and more recently that their billing system has been "down" since February with no ETA on when it will be fixed. I have been coming here for a long time and have always had great service. Lately their billing practices have me not wanting to ever return. I had a mammogram scheduled in February of this year and because I am a breast cancer survivor I had to have some different type of tests. They called and quoted me over 300.00 and said my insurance did not cover those types of tests. I tried to tell them that it should only be a 50.00 copay and they disagreed. I had to wait until I received my EOB and it showed I only owed 50.00. I called them and first of all the customer service rep was very hard to understand and mentioned it may be over 45 days until I get money back. I am not ok with this. This is the 3rd time this has happened with imaging. Trying to get this money back is a nightmare. Is this a new scam they have going? Overcharge a patient so they can pad their bank accounts? I had been a patient of Dr Hanson,etc for 25 years. They sold the practice to another company before it was bought by Solis a few years ago. Now all the original practitioners unfortunately have retired. Fast forward to today. I made the appointment for my annual 3d Mammo, Breast Ultrasound and Bone Dexa a month and 1/2 ago. I made this appointment based on when a new to me particular female Radiologist who would be available since the last Radiologist in the original practice had retired. I checked in on time at 2:15 for a first appointment of 2:30PM All was good until I waited after my 3D Mammo to wait for my breast ultra sound that I request every year because I have dense breast tissue. I waited a long time and clearly it made nervous. It made me nervous because I have never waited this long and started thing there was something bad the Radiologist saw. Fast forward, it was a male Radiologist I did not know. They left the lights low as you would during an ultrasound and me with my cape on. He comes in, a tall man (I am 5'1"), the tech and student observer hovering over me and says in a somber voice "Everything looks fine"... I question...short version..."Why are you not doing the ultrasound as the other Radiologist have done in the past"? The Company wants us to move through a lot of people". Wow! I did make the Radiologist actually do another ultrasound but I am disgusted! Just a note..As he began the ultrasound he as expected dummied down some crap about the lymph nodes and it wasn't until I spoke up and asked questions that he responded to me like I had a brain in my head! After 25 years and with all the great radiologists gone I will never go back to a place where they want to get as many Mammo/Bone Dexa they can through in a make money mill! I had an appt for tomorrow but the office called to say that my doctor never sent the order. I told the lady when I called that I haven't seen my obgyn recently and I just wanted to get a mammogram. Arizona state law states that I can go anywhere for a mammogram without a doctor's order. But apparently this is not the case for Solis. So the girl happily said "ok that's fine I will cancel your appt for tomorrow!" She could care less if they lost my business or not. I came to Solis per my doctors orders because I continued to have breast pain following a treatment for Mastitis. While making the appointment i was insistently told I needed a mammogram, even though my doctor only order and felt necessary an ultrasound. My doctor ordered a diagnostic bilateral ultrasound (both breasts) Upon arrival for my appointment again I was told I needed a mammogram, I advised I would not be having one. On to my ultrasound. The tech quickly (within 5 minutes) scanned the spot on one breasts that I was experiencing pain. She found a "mass" and I was told by Dr Bravo I needed a biopsy. I asked if they would do the complete ultrasound as order to ensure to no other "masses" were found. I was told "you're young and without pain it's not indicated." Yet, Dr Bravo had told me twice because I just had a child I was at higher risk of cancer. Wanna talk about scaring someone. I accepted their answer, although I was not pleased. I spoke with my doctor who again asked why didn't they do both breasts as it was ordered. Not sure. So she sent me back and I agreed to do the mammogram they requested the first time as well. This time I made sure I reached out to an ultrasound tech I know, so I had the entire breast protocol to ensure it was done. It wasn't done completely again, which is fine at this point I was over it and going to get a second opinion anyways. Dr. Bravo came back in, told me how they found nothing else just the one mass. Again, told me I'm at higher risk because I just had a baby and then proceeded to lecture me on indications for a breast exam and mammogram. To the extent of telling me she would communicate reasons to my doctor to ensure it's ordered correctly going forward. She continued on and on, until finally I stopped here and asked if I could get my images up front. I wanted to leave and was extremely uncomfortable. I was literally sitting there in the cape they give you without my shirt or bra being lectured by a doctor I didn't know about why my doctor never should have ordered any of this, which made no sense considering she had told me three times before how much higher risk I am and I was pressed for an ultrasound. Fast forward two days I went to a different location for the biopsy because I was going to wait two months to have it done. Finally someone took the time with me to properly scan the mass and my lymph nodes and explained that this did not look like cancer at all, it in fact looked like a milk duct or infected tissue which would make sense considering I had mastitis. He then when on to assure my having a mammogram done in your 30's is beneficial because women do get it and it's generally pretty aggressive. It hurts nothing, takes little time, and insurance covers it so why not take the precaution. Worst part about it is they billed my insurance for all 3 visits, even though they never properly did it in the first place and they definitely didn't do both. They told me the second visit ultrasound wouldn't be charged. And I got charged an appointment for biopsy I never should have had. So I will be filing a claim with insurance to inform them of fraud along with the attorney generals off and BBB. read more

Called and made an appointment around 10:00 AM for my wife, requesting to be seen at an earliest available time, 2:30pm was the only opening. While making the appointment, I specifically asked if having a primary doctor was required or necessary to be seen at Solis Mammography? The receptionist stated that it wasn't necessary and that my insurance was acceptable. Upon checking in I found out that I did need a primary doctor listed on file and would not be seen after all without one. Solis Mammography wasted my entire day, I could of been seen by a location with my requested requirements. Been going here for years with no problems but this year was ghastly. I'm thinking the tech I had was an ex-nun who really doesn't like her job. I tried some small talk which she was having no part of as this was perhaps a day to observe silence at the nunnery. Then I moved twice because half my boob was hanging off the shelf. Since the basic concept is to try to see ALL your boob I was getting a tad worried about her skill set. My moving set off her inner demon. "DO NOT HELP ME. LOOK AT ME. DO NOT HELP ME." I think this is when it dawned on me that she may have spent her nun-hood as a teacher in a Catholic school. If she had had a ruler I cringe to think what she would have done with it. But on top of all of this I called a month ago and requested my cd results be mailed out to me for my surgeon to see and they said they would and it would be delivered in 7 days ... a month later and my appt monday I still haven't received it... I call and they said they never sent it. It's still pending. For no reason. Have been coming here for a long time, since it was Hansen-Benora. It used to be okay, but now it is "just for profit." When I checked in last year, using an iPad, I failed to notice that by default I was opted in for automatic scheduling. I did not see this so I didn't opt out, which I would have done if I had seen it. An appointment was set for me that I had no idea about and it wasn't even convenient. Had to call and cancel. Also hate the ridiculous capes they have for you to wear. They cover nothing unless you remain absolutely still with arms clenched to your sides. Various people including males walk by the waiting area and can take in the view. I always bring my own coverup. I'm tired of this place. Will go somewhere else in the future. read more

Went to the Solis on Tatum and Cactus in Phoenix. First 3D. Of course, they didn't like my fibrous breasts so I was up for an ultrasound. Waited a month for this appointment. Got the ultrasound and they didn't like that. Had to give me a biopsy with a marker inserted. The doctor didn't know facility, was asking about gauge size of needles (I'm a retired RN), that same appointment I noticed I had two birthdates in their system, and to top it off they couldn't accurately find what was bothering them in the first place. Took 4 pieces of me and put in the chip. Two weeks later, still in pain. Called, no return call. Three weeks later, still uncomfortable. Sleeping in a bra. Called. No return call. Went there today. No office manager there. Doctor was busy. I left. And why does every call go through Texas?? Techs have been great. Can't say much for customer service. Looking at reviews, there seems to be no consistency to service or treatment. Never had this before. This discourages me from going for another mammogram and you know that isn't a good thing. I arrived without my referral, they still took me. The tech I had was so sweet and knew what she was doing. It's just odd that when you change, there is no locker. You put everything in a bag and carry it with you. It's only a small inconvenience. Also, try to wear a top and pants. That way you can just take off your top and they give you a cape to wear. Wait 25 minutes...after disrobing and getting to scan room, informed that they can only compare to the lSt scan done at that office which was four years ago; if needed compared the one done two years ago, need to go PV office. I said of course I needed to have compared to the last one not the 4 year old one and why waste all my time. She had the audacity to say "why did I make the appt there?"! Like I'm supposed to know that they can't communicate between their own office. THEY called me to make the appt - you would think they would consider the issue before calling me. There aren't too many places I go where I am impressed enough with the receptionist to write a review. Audrey greeted me as soon as I was in the door and was ready to help me right away. I watched as she kept up with the order of every customer and she gave instructions as if she didn't give them 20 times a day but was really talking with each customer as an individual. When I asked to speak to her supervisor (so I could share my impression of her, though she did not know that), she got that person right away. I love to compliment rather than complain when it is warranted. If I owned a business, I'd try to hire her. This was my first time to this new location. I was impressed the iPad check-in auto-populated all my information previously given. Do you get irritated as I do when you have to repeat your information multiple times on multiple forms at doctor's offices?) After being called back after a short wait, the next area was clean and nice. Lockers with famous women's names on them (so you could remember into which locker you locked your belongings) was a sweet touch. It is a lovely facility and came with the highest recommendation from my OB-GYN. read more

I have gone to Solis for years and only go for Dr. Gentry who is an exceptional doc. I give her a 5. The Solis staff and company itself is awful and they deserve zero stars. They are not healers and can not understand when issues arise that are out of a humans understanding. As a provider myself the compassion you show others when going through rough times is part of the experience. Learn to be more flexible with your patients. This was my 3rd time being disappointed and left saddened and crying. Don't waste time here unless you want to be treated like a non human being. read more

I used Solis for both a mammogram and an ultrasound. The wait to be seen was not bad and they had great magazines in the waiting room. Once I was see the doctor was quite helpful. She really took the time to explain everything with me, including my options for treatment. Hopefully I will not have to get another mammogram, but if I do, this is where I would go. read more
