The other person waiting with me showed me her confirmation and she was told to arrive at 6:15. There is a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. It would have been nice to have been told this in advance although I'm not sure it would have mattered much. It would have been nicer not to have to pay this! I was taken right on time and there were no issues with my MRI thus the "ok" review.

I was told they could get me in at a different location. I agree to drive right over luckily they gave me the print out with the appointment confirmation because it had the address and I noticed that it was at a different location than the one they told me it would be at. As I'm driving across town from downtown Phoenix location to the Scottsdale location. I call on my way to confirm my appointment and let them know that it looks like I'll be 1 minute late. When I arrive at the Scottsdale location the person that checks me in tells me there's nobody before me and I should be called up shortly. A minute later or less her coworker lets me know that there is someone already "on the table" the appointment after mine, and that I will have to wait another 20 minutes, waited 25. They need to work on communication and wait times are terrible. Then they called me in and the Tech asked me why I was late! Terrible experience!

I went to UIMG myself for an ultrasound and can say the experience was excellent. The facility is beautiful, the staff very accommodating. They take no insurance, but will get you an ultrasound for $60-125 cash pay. Celia and Francisco are the schedulers and no one will do more to make sure you are taken care of. They do same day ultrasound most of the time, are open until 10pm Tuesday-Thursday. Dr. Stoskopf is the radiologist and the reports she does are of the highest quality to your medical provider. I strongly recommend them. You need to know this is an ultrasound school, so you may have a group of people attending your ultrasound for teaching purposes. If this is not a problem for you, please use them. We send patients to them almost daily and are extremely happy with the results. They are a wonderful, caring facility that have excellent results without the worry of being billed hundreds of dollars like many facilities we work with.

The ladies at the reception desk were very polite and professional. They had me fill out some paperwork for insurance purposes and were very informative and able to answer my questions on the spot. Cool waiting room to wait in as you waited to be called back to the imaging room. Mine was only a CT, or calcium test, to check the level of plaque buildup in my heart/arteries. The scan only took about 5 minutes and was not as serious as some of the scans they perform there. It looked like others were getting full MRI scans, etc. My results were very positive, as was my experience at their facility. I highly recommend this business for anyone needing medical scans in the East Valley area.

My appointment was rescheduled so many times I've lost count because their MRI machines kept breaking down at three different locations. During my five minute MRI scan in May the technician spoke very little English, making communication virtually impossible. She hit my head against the MRI machine while positioning me, and then the machine broke down with me still inside it. Nothing like an MRI machine breaking with you inside it!!! The worst part is that, four months later, I still have not had my MRI. Between the constant cancellations, equipment failures, lack of staff, this has been one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I've ever had. After months of delays, I just got another cancellation notice two hours before my MRI today. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! I would not recommend this facility to anyone who needs timely or reliable medical imaging. Unfortunately Simon Med is just as bad!

I rescheduled with Simon Med for the back X-ray Monday July 6 at 4:45 pm. I arrived 30 minutes early and was told that the tech went home even though I was scheduled . I complained to the front desk person and he said that the office should have called me to let me know. Obviously . This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had to date . If this tech was employed in my practice they would be fired . A company as large as Simon Med clearly need better leadership .

A front desk woman came to my chair in the waiting room to finish my check in which was very nice! It seemed that people who got there way after me were seen before me but it could be because of what they were being seen for, so it is what it is. I was seen 25 minutes after my arrival. I quickly changed and waited for my turn for the x ray. It was another 20 minutes total until I was seen for the x-ray... I was sweating because now I would be late for another 3pm appointment. The x ray itself went pretty fast and smoothly. All team members I encountered were very kind, I just got flustered with the extra wait times. Overall a clean place, I was able to ask questions and people found the answer for me, which I appreciate

The front desk employee, Amber, told me they did not have my order. I contacted my doctor's office, and they said they could resend it immediately. Amber then stated it could take up to a week for a STAT order to appear in their system, which was very concerning. My doctor's office also asked whether they could provide a verbal order, but Amber said no and gave them a phone number to call instead. She then informed me that they do not accept walk-ins. What was most disappointing was not the administrative issue itself, but the complete lack of effort to help. At no point did Amber offer alternatives, suggest another location that could accommodate a STAT X-ray, or ask a supervisor if there was anything that could be done. As a patient who had just undergone surgery and was following a physician's urgent order, I expected at least some level of concern or problem-solving. I remained polite throughout the interaction, but I left feeling that my situation simply did not matter. Customer service in healthcare should include compassion, communication, and a willingness to help patients find solutions when obstacles arise. I ultimately decided to go to Banner, where I have always been treated with kindness and professionalism. Based on this experience, I would not return to this imaging center and cannot recommend it to others.

The uninformed ~ front desk tried to tell me that my copay gets sent back to the insurance company when I advised her that Ihad over paid my previous copay by $70.00. She then proceeded to tell me that the insurance company owes me the $70.00. This is while they are asking me to pay an additional $200+ for the scan today. What a load of crap.
