I went to this location on July 2 mid afternoon for MRI and x ray of the back only to be told there was no x ray tech that day so I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled with Simon Med for the back X-ray Monday July 6 at 4:45 pm. I arrived 30 minutes early and was told that the tech went home even though I was scheduled . I complained to the front desk person and he said that the office should have called me to let me know. Obviously . This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had to date . If this tech was employed in my practice they would be fired . A company as large as Simon Med clearly need better leadership . read more

Simon Med scheduled me for a test Medicare only covers every 2 yrs. I had an ultrasound and bone dens scheduled by my dr. I made appt with Simon, then they called and cancelled it-they said I just had a bone dens last yr (lie). So I cancelled and called my dr. They said I had it in 9/24. I called Simon back and rescheduled it again. My dr then informed me Medicare wouldn't cover it until Sept so I went in this morning for the ultrasound and told them I needed to have the bd in Sept bc Medicare wouldn't pay. Simon wanted me to sign a form saying I was refusing the bd test. I said I'm not refusing it, Medicare won't pay for it. They insisted I sign for a test I wasn't having I said there's a ton of tests here I'm not having and I'm not signing for those. I refused to sign. I waited an hour and 10 min and went back up to check; they said they were running late (I was the only one waiting, everyone else had been called, even those who arrived after me), and it would be another 1/2 hr! I think they were taking people ahead of me bc I wouldn't sign their form. They were extremely rude. read more

I have gone to two locations both say that they're open at 8 o'clock. I went there at 8:30. They were still closed it states on their front door their time. That they're open and closed still not open when I am there within the hours of operation. Horrible customer service when you call the phone number they don't seem to know what they're doing. Simon Med Biltmore - very disappointing from the techs all the way up to management. The tech Juliet stabbed me three times causing multiple hematomas and a large soft swelling in my arm that she blamed me for squeezing too hard. I was only following her directions verbatim. We were unable to complete the test that was rescheduled several times that I took time off of work each time. There was no remorse - no apology - just blame. Meanwhile they have my $500 copay and another reschedule. I made multiple attempts to call management - the CLINIC never answers their phone. I managed to get a scheduling supervisor who internally emailed the manager Jorge, and still no consideration to call back and hear my concerns. Beware of Simon Med. Do NOT go there - there are many other choices that will actually care about their patients. read more

I checked in for my 10:30am appt a little early, as I had been instructed by their text and email reminders. Finally at 11:25am I went and asked the receptionist how much longer. She told me I was next. When the technician brought me back he apologized and said my appt was for 11:00am. No, I told him, I do have the text and email confirmation. He apologized again for the delay, at least he was courteous. Later the same day, at 1:38pm, I received a text telling me my appt had been updated to 11:00am. I had not deleted my original text and am attaching the string to this review. It's summer, hot as heck and all the snowbirds are gone. There's no reason this place should be so backed up. SimonMed Imaging - Biltmore - Original texts confirming my 10:30am appt and then I received a text at 1:38pm telling me my appt had been moved to 11:00am. - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

After arriving for my appointment, both attendants at the front desk walked off for about 10-15 minutes leaving a growing line of patients to wait unattended. When the stagg returned they told me my appointment time had passed which was due to the staff leaving their desk and would have to be fit into the schedule (I had already paid $100 for my copay). Literally a room full of people about 10+ patients who were checked in after me were seen. It has been two (2) hours of waiting to be seen and as I'm here writing this post, I am still waiting. The scheduler, the office manager and staff that have come out of the back office unfortunately seem incompetent and unwilling to assist their customers, even though they know they messed up. In addition to the lack of problem resolution, customer service and any modicum of empathy, the office manager and staff do not seem to have any office etiquette or decorum as they discussed quite loudly their scheduling woes which at times was awkward. Also the staff speak so loudly that you can hear all the patient's information being reiterated for all to hear. I will never come to the biltmore location or any simonmed locations for that matter, for any medical needs in the future. This is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had while waiting for care and I'd give a zero rating if I could. I'll be filing a complaint with the corporate office. read more

Experience walking in, no hello, no smile told me I had to pay $250 to have my mammogram. I Said there isnt a copay,and asked for her to call my insurance company, she said no! told me I had to call my insurance company to get their name and id number of the agent I was talking to, to by pass the cost,she heard him say that there is no copay. I couldnt hear anything and asked her if she would talk to my insurance company on the phone.i had him on speaker,She knew I had to get this info before getting my scan. I ended up leaving after 1 hour on the phone.because i couldnt hear! 3 receptionist just sitting there doing nothing to help me, and were all awear of my frustrations I walked out not getting my mammogram,after waiting a long time to get my scan, having breast cancer in the past.they had zero concern for me.they all acted like I was the one outta line, they were cold as ice. And want to make people aware! Of their incompetence. And i totally get why they have no stars !! read more

The man that did my scan needs training on how to deal with hearing impaired people. He was the rudest man that I have met in a long time! He would not help me up after the scan. It is very obvious why this place has about as low a rating as I've ever seen. I will not be coming back to SimonMed. This organization is milking those in need of their services while showing about zero ability to care for anything but the paycheck. The lobby is full and about half of the people there complained about the wait time since their appointment time had passed. They got me in over 1/2 hour after my time, but then the scan I needed was relatively quick. I will certainly find a different provider when services are needed regardless of the convenient location to me. read more

The economics seem simple: an MRI machine only makes money when it's running, so the schedule appears intentionally overbooked. The technicians are ostensibly capable, but the administrative side is unprofessional and difficult to communicate with for a variety for reasons. Being talked down to by someone in a T-shirt with AirPods in while asking basic questions doesn't inspire confidence in a medical setting. American Securities is executing the PE playbook masterfully: extract every last oz. of ROI by maximizing machine utilization and hiring cheap labor (call center/boorish admin) while sick and worrisome patients foot the bill. Absolutely impossible to talk to anyone at this location. I called the number 4 times, was disconnected 4 times, on hold for over an hour and still did not speak to anyone other than the call center. What a waste of time. Their on-line patient portal doesn't work. There are other places to go. Don't use Simon Medical. read more

After reading the reviews all I can say is I won't be back. Booked a 7am appointment, several calls and texts confirming my appointment. Fill out the online paperwork. T hen get called asking if I want to push my appointment to 8am. No, if I wanted the 8am I would have booked that. Show up 30 minutes early, office is closed. Understandable, figured they opened at 7. 7:09am and no one had shown up, the door time said they don't open until 8am. Makes sense they didn't want to show up and tried to push me later. Then the front desk was cold and unwelcoming. Then they misbilled me, told me they'd send me my images, they didn't refund the mis bill yet, they haven't processed my images. The front office staff is horrible - rude, cold, and no empathy. I sat there for an hour, watching how rude they were to elderly patients and my heart broke. They have no customer service skills and do not belong in healthcare. The operations manager is very arrogant and it's no wonder his employees are terrible. If you're going in for a walk-in x-ray, please beware that locations may turn you away. I went to five different locations today and all of them turned me down. All excuses were different and even calling their operations. Number told me that they were all open and doing x-rays just to find out when I get to the location they are not doing x-rays today or even all week. read more

I stopped using the Biltmore facility due to the negative attitudes that all the personnel seemed to have. Unfortunately in an attempt to have the 2 scans done that I needed, after the Paradise Valley canceled twice, I decided to try Biltmore again. The technicians are competent but unbelievably sour. Walked in to a very nice location and there was a line which is fine to be expected. The two people working the front desk, a woman and a young man, don't even acknowledge you or anything. Their appearance, and I mean clothing, was so unprofessional it did not match the nice office. The lady finishes helping a patient and sees the line but still waits forever to call the next patient up. The young man was helping this lady out and the lady was so confused because the two employees kept whispering to each other in Spanish. It was my turn to get signed in and the young man was just so unhappy to be there, doesn't even say hi or anything. "Id and insurance" all rude. His attitude was just not it. His business card on his computer said Hayli kublyz. I am only giving it two starts because my tech, Mia, was super nice. Over all the location and the office is way too nice to have rude employees who look miserable to be there. read more

The office experience was very disappointing and surprising. I arrived 15 min early for my appt time and while i was waiting in line to check in for my appointments. I found an online check in link in my email. I clicked i have arrived and it looked like everything went through ok, except for trying to upload my insurance card, which the website would not take. Also, I had already filled out the same form multiple times online and sent in my order and insurance card, so why i had to do this yet again was frustrating. I went to the front desk to make sure there was nothing else i needed to do and that i had been checked in ok. The girl said yeah you're good. I thought it was odd that she didn't ask my name to double check, but thought since there was only a few people in the office she must have figured out my name. After it had been 20 min past my scheduled time i thought i would double check again. This time i heard the 2 front desk employees whisper oh "that was our no show". No apologies, only the girl at the front desk telling me she didn't know who i was. So i asked when i came up here the first time to make sure i was checked in ok why didn't you ask for my name? She said she was busy doing other things. The manager or supervisor came out 10 min later to tell me they could squeeze me in for one image but not the other. Again no apologies. I was just told that he didn't like my demeanor. And couldn't talk to me, so that's why i didn't get an apology from anyone. I have been in the medical field for over 20years and cannot imagine in my life ever treating a patient like that and not profusely apologizing and recognizing YOUR mistake. I was made to feel like a crazy lady who had no right to be upset that the office just marks me off as a no show. I work full time and have a child so for me to be able to schedule times is challenging and requires me to take time off work. Very disappointing customer service. read more

This office has problems. Front desk staff needs customer service training. They need to procure the necessary orders to perform the procedures prior to the patient arriving at the facility. I have spoken with the on-site manager about the issues and I am hopeful he will take steps necessary to rectify the problems. read more

I was able to get an appointment for the next day (November 21, 2024) due to my primary care doctor's concerns. My ultrasound technician, Elijah, was very personable, thorough, & knowledgeable. The facility itself is dirty, and the customer service was awful. Have had an awful experience with SimonMed in general and will never use them. I drove to 4 different locations all around Phoenix trying to get an x-ray because they only do them on a walk in basis. Each location sent me to a different location. Their site showing wait times was inaccurate. When I called, it went to a general number rather than the location number and the information they provided was also inaccurate. Each person I encountered at all 4 locations was so unkind and unhelpful. I asked if they could call the actual location they were sending me to to verify I could actually get in because I had already spent an hour driving, and they would not. Go with SMIL or literally any other imaging company, if you can. read more

Horrible, I've had better experiences at the DMV. The lady who works the front desk is pretty much horrible. Unfriendly, not in the slightest helpful, your totally at their mercy because you were sent there by your doctor for imaging, and or forced there via your insurance. I'm a medical provider, and I order a whole lot of DEXA/Bone density exams for my patients. For most patients, they need a bilateral hip and L slime, but for whatever reason, they will only do one hip. Because of this, I can only give pts half the result and clinical decisions are based on what's actually ordered. Regarding the Biltmore location in Fashion Square, one would think that they would have pleasant people working the front desk, at the very least and this location? Shame, such a prime location. read more

These people are so incompetent it's actually comical. Front desk has no idea what they're doing. They look like unqualified teenagers running the show. My doctor only sends their patients to SimonMed and even has a rep with the company. I told the front desk that (along with the paper my doctor filled out for them) but they "couldn't find anything for that doctor." I had to call my doctor to have them speak with the front desk and spell out what to do. My doctor repeated what I had told them and she goes "oh I didn't know you have an account here." Like??? Yes you do, I just told you that. To top it off the guy next to me also was having issues with the front desk so we both were irritated while trying to get checked in. I didn't have another option on where to go, but if you do please go anywhere else. PS: X-ray patients aren't able to make appointments and is walk in only so you might be sitting and waiting for awhile. PPS: Also from what I'm seeing, every person in here has had issues with their scheduled appointments. There's about 6-7 other people that have had issues. What a mess! read more

SimonMed is a financial grist mill posing as an Imaging office. Vote with your wallet and boycott SimonMed Imaging. SimonMed's corporate structure encourages the maltreatment of patients. SimonMed outsources its call center overseas where English is so foreign there is no effective communication. Numerous calls and personal attempts to rectify billing errors will have no resolution. Dealing with SimonMed is akin to dealing with thief in a dark alley. Don't let their corporate office facade fool you. It's buyer beware. Drive 100 miles if necessary to avoid this scam of a business. It's not about the patient...it's only about dollars for SimonMed. read more
