Whatever roadblocks get thrown into your way, she plows through and *makes it happen*. Any wedding planner working during Covid has to roll with the punches, but Jamie humored us through a few different revisions to the criteria for venue selection, a couple curveballs once we finally found a place we liked (in the middle of nowhere, with no dishwasher on site!), and so many, many harebrained ideas that she helped us filter out or make real. Creative -- delightfully. Organized -- incredibly. Communicative -- consistently (even when she had to chase us down because we were distracted ). Adaptable -- stupendously. Pragmatic -- appropriately. Some of the planners we met early in the process felt like they'd plan a beautiful event, but one that aligned with *their* aesthetic and needs (or a particular trend's), rather than ours. Jamie and her team made *our* dream reality (and added so many wonderful touches along the way!), and I couldn't be more grateful for that.

One word of warning is that hiring a good wedding planner doesn't remove the work to plan a good wedding. You still need to make decisions because it is YOUR wedding (and your wedding budget)! But it guarantees that you WILL have a good wedding. And we (me, husband, and guests) had a fantastic wedding weekend. My husband and I had a two day wedding celebration. The second casual "picnic" was arguably more complex despite its deceptively simple appearance due to Jamie having to transform a raw empty space into an event venue. The first day of our wedding went without a hitch. It was shocking how Jamie somehow made herself blend in with the rest of the crowd, yet was everywhere at once to conduct the event. ALL of our vendors complimented me (really, her) that she was the most professional, responsive, and organized planner they had ever worked with. She was so thorough - without Jamie, we are sure that we would have missed many small details that, while they wouldn't have messed up our wedding, made our day all the more presentable and comfortable. The second day (picnic) of our wedding was interesting. It was the day California experienced not any rain, but the crescendo into the historic "bomb cyclone" the following day. Days before our picnic, we had to scrap almost all of our original plan because our venue would have been flooded (and it was indeed underwater by our picnic day). We still don't know how Jamie pulled this off but she managed to transform our alternate venue (an empty cabin) into a spectacular indoor picnic spot. She had to re-do the furniture order and the layout. It worked. And that is without a doubt where I would have completely fallen apart without having Mango Muse. We are so grateful. Do yourself a favor and hire Jamie and her team :)

What could have been an incredibly stressful process turned into something I truly looked forward to each week. Our planning chats became such a fun and creative outlet for me, and she understood my vision so completely that every mockup she showed me blew me away. As an anxious, type-A bride, having someone so responsive and reassuring (even answering late-night texts) made me feel fully supported throughout the journey. On the wedding day, Victoria went above and beyond in every way. She was there for every moment, literally helping me with dress changes and jumping in to smooth out any little inconvenience before I even had to ask. She even thought of things I never would have, like packing two extra meals for me to take home (because she knew I probably wouldn't eat enough that day) and making sure our cake was wrapped and delivered so we could enjoy it after the wedding. Thanks to her, I was able to be completely present and stress-free, and our family and guests kept telling us it was the best and most well-planned wedding they had ever been to. I'll always be grateful to her for not only bringing my vision to life, but also for caring for us so thoughtfully every step of the way.

To those who are reading this review, I'd first like to congratulate you on your engagement!…read moreSecondly, your search for a wedding planner stops here because Victoria is YOUR GIRL! Victoria is talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before... (basically, she's the entire Lady Gaga meme). I looked into a wedding planner shortly after booking our venue, as things started to feel 'real' and were moving quickly. I had a tons of ideas in my head but didn't know where to start when it came to tying them together. Outside of ideas and aesthetics, plans/vendors/contract agreements seemed to keep changing, and changing, anddd channgginnnggg due to COVID. Hiring Victoria gave us the peace of mind we needed during such stressful time and truly felt like a wedding gift to ourselves. From our intro call to our wedding day - Victoria was extremely prompt, friendly, organized, diligent, and a total rockstar! She was able to take my ideas and translate everything perfectly into the big day. Victoria's thoughtfulness and experience with design, contracts, vendor communication, venues, scheduling/timelines, and her overall feel for the industry as a whole, sets your wedding day up for success (seriously - her scheduling skills are unreal. I don't know how she perfectly designed the day-of to encompass everything we wanted - but she did it and did it seamlessly). I'd hire her for future events and parties in a heartbeat!

Lindsay helped us to safely pull off our dream wedding during the COVID pandemic on 8/8/2020…read more We were able to have a 50 guest COVID wedding- outdoors with socially distanced tables, cocktail hour, dinner reception, lion dancers, food truck, Chinese tea ceremony, boba, cake & crepes, three outfit changes, same day edit, and sparkler exit! (Who would have thought we could right?) After our wedding, guests were telling us that our wedding was so amazing and that it almost felt like a "normal" wedding-- even with social distancing, masks and all! We met Lindsay when she was the social catering manager for the Crowne Plaza where we were going to have our original wedding reception pre-COVID. Lindsay is the type of person to rise to any occasion and she does it with a smile and positive attitude and is extremely detail-oriented and efficient. After we had to change our venue due to COVID, we reached out to Lindsay to hire her as our day of event coordinator for our wedding. Due to COVID, we weren't sure if we had to postpone our wedding, but once we figured out we could still have it, we had less than a MONTH to replan our entire wedding. Lindsay helped us so much and did a phenomenal job! She paid attention to every detail of our wedding and thought of things we didn't even think about. She helped us to create a great timeline, reach out and keep track of our vendors for our venue, and was available if we needed her for questions/consultation. She went above and beyond on our wedding day and this was an all day event. Our venue was set up perfectly, she created a beautiful sign-in, gift table, and sparkler table for us to display our sparklers for the end of the night. We gave her all the parts we wanted in our wedding and she seamlessly made everything happen. All of our transitions were perfect and she kept us on time with our schedule. We even had extra time to relax and enjoy our reception and food. Tip: At your wedding, you want to enjoy your day and let someone else (non-family member) to be in charge of the details and help facilitate what is going to happen It is the small details that matter and Lindsay paid attention to all of them and exceeded our expectations from start to finish-- she made our wedding look easy to pull-off, but there was so much involved. Lindsay is a truly genuine, loving person and she cares so much about her clients and was there to support us in any way we needed. Despite the pandemic, we trusted Lindsay with the biggest day of our lives and she was able to safely help make our dream wedding happen. I can honestly say our wedding would not have gone so well or have been able to happen without her. Lindsay is amazing in any coordinating role and I would trust her again to do any event in a heartbeat. Reach out to her and have her for your wedding coordinating needs-- you will not regret it :)

I had FaceTimed with him and had worked over GoogleDoc to edit the wedding script to exactly what we wanted. BUT.... on the day of my wedding, Jolly Andy was late. My wedding ceremony was at 5:00 and he swept in at about 5:00 on the dot, and had to get mic'ed and ready. Per our FaceTime and contract, I had been expecting Andy at the latest by 4:30, just to give enough time to make any last minute changes and to actually introduce ourselves in person for the first time. Well 4:30 came and went and my day-of-coordinator did eventually get a call through to him and found out he had been held up in traffic (he hadn't tried to contact me). Understandable on any other day, but not when you are officiating someone's wedding! My parents and I were scrambling around asking friends of ours if they could officiate the wedding for us if it came down to it.... definitely not a stress a bride needs right before she ties the knot! The ceremony itself was nice, as it was word for word what we had worked on in the Google Doc. But the fact that he had been late and we hadn't gotten a chance to talk beforehand made the ceremony a little bit clunkier than it would have been otherwise and my blood pressure higher than it needed to be!

First he asked questions about us as a couple, how we met, history, our families and what kind of a ceremony we would like. The basics. However, I think what set Joe apart from the rest of the officiants we interviewed was the fact that he interviewed us individually. He excused us one by one so we can talk about what were truly loved and valued about one another. It felt very personalized. We booked him 9 months prior to the wedding and didn't even have to remind him about anything for the ceremony. He had everything organized to the "T" and it was absolutely perfect. 30 minutes prior to the wedding, he checked in with me and my husband to see how we were feeling, if we felt nervous and if there was anything he could do for us. He reiterated on multiple occasions that he wanted to be a part of our family. Even in that moment of stress, he took the time to really check in. He also made sure that we had our vows ready to go. The ceremony was quick 25 minutes, which all of our guests loved that it was succinct, memorable, and thoughtful. We laughed and we cried during our ceremony - it was something we'll never forget. Stephanie ended up not only being our officiant, but also our reception and day of wedding coordinator. She far surpassed our expectations, and believe me that's hard to do as I'm VERY, VERY, VERY anal about details. Without Stephanie and her assistant Kathleen, I would have been a complete mess the day of the wedding and things would not have run as smoothly as they did. I have to say I was disappointed to read Iris S. comments on Stephanie. I find it very hard to believe that any of what was written has any merit, but that's my opinion from our experience. I would without hesitation highly recommend using Stephanie's services and I would do so in an instant again if I had any other children to marry off (unfortunately I don't).
