DO NOT BUY FROM MORRO DOORS OWNED BY DANNY LAPP OF MORRO BAY…read more I'm giving you a heads up. Don't buy your doors from Morro Doors. Danny Lapp not only does not stand by his product, he verbally abuses WOMEN. Here's Danny's customer service. I purchased stain grade doors, and casing from Danny Lapp owner of Morro Doors in the sum of $10,000.00; this was all in 2018. When the doors were delivered, our painter went to work sanding and staining. At that point, it became apparent that the doors were inferior. They had been damaged from the factory. The general contractor at the time was Danny's cousin. He called Danny and asked him to come look at these doors. The contractor was in agreement that the doors needed to be replaced. Danny Lapp arrived at my house and immediately started yelling. He wanted to know who's F***ING idea it was to stain the doors. I told him that was why I purchased STAIN grade doors, I wanted them stained. He said I was F***ING STUPID, he said that if I wanted him to do anything about these doors, I was F***ING CRAZY, he said he had other returned doors in his shop and he wasn't going to "eat" any more doors. He told me to F**K OFF, and kept this up as he exited the property. As he was leaving, Danny told me and the contractor, to F**K OFF; he drove away extending a middle finger. At my expense, the doors were re-sanded, and re-stained. This is not what you would expect spending 10K on doors but I knew I'd address the problem at a later time. Fast forward a few months and now the doors need to be addressed. In addition to the wood being inferior, the bores where the doorknobs are to go are off set on three of the doors making it impossible to install doorknobs and back plates. I called "Danny" Lapp and he was belligerent. He wanted to speak to the carpenter who is installing the doorknobs. Our carpenter stopped in to see "Danny" and was told that Danny had no intention of doing anything about these doors. Dan Lapp is not professional, he used swearing and anger to address the problems with his doors. Danny Lapp does not stand by his product & is a bully.

We really enjoy our new TimberTech Deck! Richard, Shannon, Juan, and Sam did an outstanding…read morejob...they were very professional and worked with us to ensure our deck was built above our expectations, and worked with us on any little details that other contractors would most likely overlook. They ensured that all transition areas with our driveway and doors were smooth in the event that we need wheelchair access in the future. It was a relatively simple deck project, and Richard provided a very fair estimate...we're certain the appearance and value we received was so much better than other much higher local estimates that were provided...Richard and his crew were able to get us scheduled quickly, and had the project completed in a very timely manner. We are very pleased that they proved their Platinum Pro TimberTech rating! Can't wait to finish our other front yard projects and bring in our patio furniture for many wonderful Happy Hours!

This is our second house in SLO County where we had a Solara louvered patio cover installed, but it…read morewas our first time using The Patio Cover Deck and Fence Company. On our previous home, it took a different company almost a year to complete one Solara patio cover from start to finish. So this time we contacted The Patio Cover Deck and Fence Company to install two Solara louvered patio covers on our new home, one in the back and one on the side of our home. We can tell you, Richard and his patio installer, Shannon, have the experience and the skills needed to do the job right and the project was completed well within in the promised time frame. They were extremely knowledgeable, efficient and also cleaned up every day before leaving. Richard always kept us updated on the status of our job from beginning to end and responded to our calls and emails promptly throughout the entire process. Richard showed us our color options and we ended up selecting two colors that matched our house colors perfectly. We now have two new shaded areas in our yard to enjoy and the structures also beautifully enhanced the look of our home. We love being able to control the amount of sunlight by adjusting the louvers at different times of the day using the remote controls. We would highly recommend The Patio Cover Deck and Fence Company for a professional patio cover job.

Last May (2025) a utilities contracted gardener broke my slider with a stone hurled by a weed…read morewhacker. As one can imagine it was a maze to go through PG&E, and the subcontracted gardening company. Complicated and time consuming. I called several companies about replacing the glass. All in the larger cities said it wasn't a big enough job for them to come, and the local small company was a combination of Abbot and Costello mixed with the Keystone Cops. The people at Estero Glass said they'd be happy to come. Their estimate was over $100 more than the local company. It took quite a while for PG&E and the gardening company to arrive at the amount they were willing to give me which was the lower of the 2 estimates. In the meanwhile Jordan at Estero Glass would periodically check in with me to ask if I was doing ok through the process and let me know I could call on them if they could be of any help. They never once even brought up the job itself; no pressure at all. For their kindness and help I decided to go with them even though there would be some out of pocket on my end as they were the higher estimate, and I told them as much. They sent me a revised estimate with a credit of $100 listed as Customer Appreciation. A tech come out - Larry, I think - and did an amazing job of installation and clean-up. I completely forgot to write this review until now when I need a new window so I am just about to call them. I regret the tardiness of writing, but their business is run on the highest levels in every department, which is why I'll be calling them again this afternoon. Incredible company with great customer service and technicians which is why I will use only them now and int he future. I could not be happier with Estero Glass.

When I got to the counter I was told that one of the employees had the parts at their house and he wasn't in. No "sorry" for the inconvenience, no apology, no offer to mail me the parts. I'll take my business someplace else.
