Dan, Leah and their team are always a pleasure to work with. Leah and Val translated my ideas into a plan that had everything I wanted, even incorporating some planters I had on hand. Augustin made the plan a reality with his daily hard work. He graded the site, installed pavers and irrigation, and planted. Meanwhile, Eric and Jose gave the backyard a cleanup. Amazing what a difference pruning and trimming makes when done by someone who really knows what they're doing! I highly recommend Dan's for any landscaping project.

From start to finish, they were professional, utilized excellent communication, patient with questions, provided quality work, respectful, timely, and needed no micro managing. There was always a knowledgeable contact person on site to manage the crew, that knew our project and was able to answer questions. Rob was able to provide overlapping water coverage and deal with all of our issues in order to meet our specific needs. For instance, we wanted to keep the existing grass as much as possible. When trenching for pipe lines, the crew neatly removed grass and dirt, then replaced, stamped and raked, leaving the lawn intact and in far better than expected condition. Rob clearly explained what he was going to do, kept us updated each day, honored his commitments, completed the job ahead of schedule, and finished with spending additional time explaining the system and answering questions. We will absolutely use SLO Landscaping for any future needs! Gayle and Lindsey Cox

We couldn't be happier with the work Jonathan did on our landscaping project. This was a very large…read moreand extremely complex project, involving extensive concrete work, hardscaping, landscaping, lighting, and the coordination of numerous subcontractors. Jonathan handled it exceptionally well from start to finish. One of the things that really sets Jonathan apart is his ability to understand a customer's vision and turn it into reality. He is genuinely willing to take on challenges and explore solutions that may be outside the typical scope of landscape construction. Rather than steering customers toward what is easiest or most familiar, Jonathan takes the time to understand what they want and works hard to figure out how to make it happen. That willingness to go beyond his comfort zone in order to deliver what the customer envisions is something we really appreciated. Despite the size and complexity of the job, he completed the project on time and within budget, which is something that is increasingly hard to find in landscape construction. The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and he was committed to making sure everything was done right. What really impressed us, though, was what happened two years after the project was completed. We recently had a few landscape lights that needed attention, and Jonathan came out and repaired them at no charge. He certainly didn't have to do that two years after completing the project, but he wanted to make sure everything was still working properly and that we were happy. That really says a lot about the kind of person and business owner he is. I would highly recommend Jonathan to anyone looking for someone who can take on a large, complicated landscape construction project and deliver. He is hardworking, creative, takes pride in his work, stands behind what he builds, and genuinely cares about his customers. If you have a vision for your property and want someone who is willing to take on the challenges of making that vision a reality, Jonathan is the person I would recommend. We would absolutely use him again.

I gave him another chance, we set a time for Monday, the next day. At 1:20pm I got a text confirming he would be there at 3pm. No one showed. He never answered the phone or returned my text to see if everything was ok. I sent a long text the next day, no response at all. This is low bar for professionalism. He doesn't show up, can't return a call or text, why even bother. So very disappointed!

True Landscape did a really great job of making some lovely improvements to our yard! Our yard was…read morea complete mess before they came (with really hard uncomfortable small pebbles, hard dirt along the sides of the house, and wood chips in large spaces making it all kind of unusable). We had about 4 other landscape companies in the area come out first to give us an estimate on our project (Madrone, Pacific Outdoor, Purlieu, Atkinson) and a few of them actually wanted a pricey "design fee" before they would even give us a full/complete estimate. We already knew the basic idea of our design that we wanted, and so an extra design fee did not make any sense for our project. We ended up choosing True Landscape because their pricing was the most reasonable out of the group! Also, their representative George, seemed really committed to the project. He took measurements when he arrived, talked through a design plan, gave us a location to check out some of the landscape products to choose from, and even followed up the next day with some samples. George was also really easy to work with and scheduled/brought out the crew fairly quickly and the project only took about a week! In terms of the redesign, True Landscape installed new pavers, extended out our grass area, set up the drip water system, built a new planter box, and added large pavers and nice rocks around the sides. We are really happy with how it all turned out and our yard looks much more modern now : ). We have actually been going out every day to enjoy it now (over the past month) when we literally never used our yard before. Thank you!!

They transformed the outside of our home, and it now looks and feels like a magazine spread! Just today, I received compliments from two separate strangers on the front yard. We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. They truly delivered, and it is better than we ever imagined! It was so easy to look at their choices and select what we wanted. They had a wide variety of design choices. We replaced most of the grass in the back with their pavers and used the same pavers for our driveway. They look fantastic. We have a neighbor that had Pacific Outdoor build them a firepit that they love. We received great guidance and attention from the full team all along the way. They didn't quit until the project was finished to our satisfaction. As I float in our beautiful pool and eat tangerines off of my new tree, I feel like a queen and couldn't be happier after choosing Pacific Outdoor! Our family highly recommends them!

I wasted thousands of dollars having them do a terrible job on my pool deck, and had to have Pacific rip out their work and fix it. He put in drain covers over this drain at all the downspouts around the house. By 2015 we asked him to put pavers in place of our driveway and widen it, and use pavers to replace the sidewalk from the driveway into the house. A year later we had him remove the grass in front and he carried the dry creek out from the back yard to the front ending with that drain outlet at the deeper end of that.He did much of the planting in front then too. in 2017 I discovered a state offer to increase rain storage and he helped us with our 660 gallon overflow tank. In 2020, I asked him to deepen the dry creek in front to a swale which would allow extra rainwater not able to be caught and held in any of my tanks, into the swale and be allowed to soak into the ground water from the outlet of the 2006 installed drain. In 2022, when we had something crazy like 8" of rain in one day, and it flooded into the house, he installed a new drain cover as needed and tied it into that original 2006 drain. See the pattern? He can adapt his original work as the owners live on the property and their designs, needs and desires adapt, and change over time. It need not be just a one time job, it can be a relationship which improves the property over the years. I have always felt I received excellent Value for his work, and that of this employees.
