Jose was a joy to work with from the beginning, and he remained extremely communicative during and after the remodeling process. The quote he gave was reasonable and the final number was extremely close to the initial quote (it would have been the same but I added things to the project). He consistently offered his advice on material selection and also went the extra mile to satisfy my requests. I initially started with a project that involved full renovation of two bathrooms and some small changes to a bedroom. Since Jose was so easy to work with, I added more to the project (kitchen and entry way tiles and cabinet doors). I am extremely pleased with how everything turned out. Jose and his crew did a total reconstruction of our kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom. Because it was all damaged by the flooding from a burst pipe when we were gone, dealing with the insurance company was required. Jose made many suggestions about materials and choices, but always left the decisions up to us. His flooring guys (hardwood in our case), and his tile guy did excellent work. Jose doesn't need more great Yelp reviews but here goes: I kind of knew from the get-go he was going to be good because when we first did a walk though of my 1975 era bedroom and bath he immediately understood my remodel vision and made one suggestion after another of what could and should be done to get to what I wanted done: create space, airiness, light with a minimalist edge to an enlarged bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, walk-in shower, new Italian style mediterranean tile floor and shower, and custom-made Shoji panel doors and screens, the latter from LA Shoji company not cheap but first rate. (They made of light colored basswood with translucent panels and emit a most pleasant wood-cedar perfume). Jose met with me along the way at various providers for making intelligent choices ( tile, bathroom fixtures, lighting, etc. also intervening to get me good prices as well as make the right choices per his construction crew). When new bedroom features arrived his men set everything up and moved stuff in. The process took a few months but there was LOTS done. His billing system enabled me to pay more or less as we went along:he was flexible and kept the crew going as I gathered the money.) I give him a thumbs up big time. They showed up early, worked through the day, cleaned up before leaving and made sure all the parts to the frame and roof were accounted for and of the quality expected. I originally contacted him to fix my carport (which is still in the works), but then I had a semi emergency and lost power to a section of my home after trying to install a flood light. He responded right away and told me he could be over the next day (unheard of right now during COVID)!
