Levi the owner was rushing…read morefrom the minute he got to our property, without a moment to spare to talk to me (the homeowner) about the work that needed to be done. He showed up late at 9:30 AM when he was supposed to arrive at 8-8:30 AM. The deck footer post that was supposed to be replaced for our sloping deck didn't get installed properly. The post installed was installed below the floorboards and currently only attached to our deck beams. Six bags of concrete were used for a single deck post footer and the concrete was soupy, compromising the compression strength of the concrete and will likely need to be redone. The deck pier they poured was also not above grade, which is something I had instructed Levi to do because the whole reason our deck was sinking was because the wood that was below soil had rotten out. The other part of the job was to paint the deck, but when we complained that he had selected the wrong color of paint which was supposed to match our vinyl siding, he threw a hissy fit and bailed on the project completely. Avoid this contractor at all costs and get someone reliable who will be there on time, who will take the time to listen to you, someone who won't cut corners, make excuses for why things weren't done properly and bail on the project altogether when they've made too many mistakes.

My husband reached out to Marco to give him a chance to address the problem and he didn't respond. Given there was no response to the current issue, customer satisfaction don't seem to be important. We would never use this service again.

A few days after that I had painters come to paint my master bedroom dark blue. I picked the wrong sheen and I also didn't know that imperfections on the wall would show much more easily in a dark color, so I wanted the painters to sand and repaint the wall. The painters told me I'd have to look for a drywall person to give the wall a level 5 finish if I wanted a smooth wall. I contacted Marco, and he was able to arrange for Van to come over to my place the following day at 7am. The job lasted three days (he had to leave for some time each day to do other previously scheduled jobs) and Van worked so hard and did a really beautiful job. He had a great attitude throughout even when his face was full of dark blue drywall dust every night when he's done. He even stayed until 8:30pm the last night to clean up because the painters were coming the following day to repaint the wall. I attached the before and after pictures. I am really happy with the result. Give these guys a chance! They really are great.

The Good: Very professional, friendly, and the owner has an artistic eye that is absolutely exquisite. The work they did was very well done, and communication was great until..... The Bad: 1 year later, and we have found that many of the plants they planted won't grow here! We lost over 40 small plants, and it looks like we are in the process of losing some larger palm trees that they planted because these plants are not cold hardy enough for our area. Also, I specifically requested that nothing invasive be planted. Equesitum (horsetail) was planted, and a year later is starting to take over large areas and choke out other plants. The worst part is that there has been no follow up to this. My calls have been mostly avoided. Some of my emails were responded to, but then the communication just ceased, and now they are not responding at all. We have spent several hundred dollars replacing plants that have died, and are faced now with even more expensive removal of an invasive plant and possibly even some large trees. As I said, I hate to write this, because I really believe these are good people. But I think they made some big mistakes with our project and now they are not owning up to them.
