For fire insurance purposes I had to have major tree trimming performed and a large valley oak removed on my west Paso Robles property. From the initial inspection to final work cleanup, I was fully satisfied with my interactions with them. Everything was performed as mutually agreed upon. They showed up on time, completed the work, and cleaned up as expected. They have top-notch equipment that allowed them to complete a large work scope in a day. The work crew was exceptional. I submitted the completed work to the fire insurance company, and it was deemed to meet their requirements. I highly recommend them. read more

Great response time very knowledgeable no job too big or small for this company. Highly recommend recommended.

Highly recommend! Great response time and scheduling. They made every effort to make sure I was happy with the job.

Sloppy work. Trees were not aesthetically trimmed instead it was a hack job. Left the site messy.

4G Tree service. I called and they responded immediately, they sent a man out the same day to review and give an estimate. They have a nice bucket-truck and wood chipper. They also removed the stump. Everyone very congenial and professional. Craig Forrester read more

Possibly the very WORST experience I've ever had!!! Called for an estimate on chipping. Sent jpg, and invited on-site view/estimate. Took one 10 second glance while I tried explaining what cannot go thru chipper we want cut into 1 foot slabs for firewood. I have sorted the wood into 2 piles, one of long leafy branches, and the other cut trunks. He huffed & puffed about it being useless, ignoring my firewood comment. I actually had to stop mid sentence and wait for his attention to come back to me when he realized I was silently just looking at him & waiting. He then proceeded to tell me he can only give me an hourly rate. But not professionally... oh no, he had to tell me the way I stacked the wood piles up is pathetic and makes his job impossible! Really dude??! At this point I just said clearly we not doing business and we can just quit right now! But oh no!!! That wasn't enuf!! He had to self justify x3 times on the walk to the gate why my job site is pathetic, to which I just responded I have stacked the wood the way the city chippers request when they do their annual chip, and I wasn't going to leave hundreds of branches strewn across my yard, but its a mute point, please just shut up and leave! But no, he just had to keep coming at me!! Over and over, causing my adrenaline to really skyrocket. I had x2 fixed price bids yesterday, no issues. Then he still had the audacity to tell me thank u for wasting his time and gas making him come out to bid!!! Omg ‍ read more

The service we received with trimming our palm trees and also around our neighborhood was fantastic! From the beginning, with initially calling Casey to request their services to their work onsite, everyone was so very nice, friendly, professional, punctual, and thorough. I would highly recommend using 4G Tree Service. Their rates were also pretty good considering with everything that's been increasing. Thank you so very much to everyone at 4G! read more

Morgan from 4th Generation was a true professional. We had about 90 trees removed from the west facing side of our property. They also ground all the stumps. Well during all the commotion, a few stumps were missed. I called him and he came and took care of them, A year later. Now that's a company with integrity about their work. Thanks Morgan!!! read more

They came in to clear a road for Cal Fire access. The crew workers were nice and tried to do a good job but the crew boss was rude and unprofessional. They brought out 3 or 4 lift trucks but the boss wouldn't let the workers use 1, so they ended up spending the day widdling away at limbs they could have taken down quick. They also wrecked my fencing and didn't even offer to fix anything. Good thing my cattle didn't get out. The price I heard they charged was outrageous. Owner made them come back and fix all the limbs they left. Hopefully they didn't charge more. read more

4th Generation Tree delivered us oak mulch for our landscaping project. When a rain storm passed through and changed their plans, they did the delivery free of charge. It's nice to have local native mulch and we can't argue with the price! Will definitely reach out to 4th Gen in the future for our forestry needs on our property. read more

They returned my calls when I was looking for a tree service, but when I had a problem suddenly they change to a "we'll call you back" and never do. They do a good job on trees, but you can't trust the woodchips. Mine were FULL of trash from Gatorade bottles to terra cotta roofing tiles and 2x4s. We don't have a terra cotta roof, so they are from a different job site somewhere. The trash was all under the fresh woodchips from my job site and by the time they dumped it, it wasn't visible. When we started spreading the woodchips, all the trash started coming out. It would have been fine if they would have talked to me about it and made it right, but they got very defensive about how they would remember if they broke a terra cotta roof, basically calling me a liar, then not calling me back. read more

Chip and his crew are great. Chip came right out to look at my oak tree that looked sad. He told me not to worry that all it needed was a good trimming. He did that right away and at a very reasonable price. Now I have a beautiful and happy oak tree. Thank you so much. read more

Today was the second time we have had a crew to our property from A&T Arborists. In 2016 they helped us with fallen and falling trees after the heavy rains that year. They were just as punctual and professional today as they were then. What has been most impressive are the men working on the crews. The work looks to be formidable to even the most ambitious home owner. The men from A&T have been methodical in their approach to the task before them. Safety was also a present consideration as there was no showboating or horseplay. It was all business!!! My wife and I would like to give thanks and praise "Again" to the partners and crews at A&T Arborists. Please consider using their services if & when you should ever find a need for tree and vegetation maintenance. read more

Morgan and his crew at 4th Generation Tree helped tremendously with a fan palm on my father's property that had never had its fronds removed in the 25+ years my dad has lived there. Morgan gave a very prompt and reasonable estimate. Upon approval, his crew was on the scene efficiently and professionally taking care of the tree. Clean-up and disposal of the trimmed material was done quickly and thoroughly. We highly recommend and appreciate 4th Generation Tree. read more

4GT came to our house and removed a large tree and stump. Very professional and attentive to all our needs. The crew did not waste any time removing it. Also did a great job cleaning up the area afterwards. Again Thanks Morgan and crew. Very much appreciated!! read more

I highly recommend using 4th Generation Tree. We have a home in Atascadero, but live on the East Coast. It's not easy trusting that people will do good work, when they know you're not there. Morgan and his crew did a beautiful job trimming several of our large oak trees. They were priced fairly and obviously take great pride in what they do. I can't thank them enough! We will definitely use them for all of our future tree work. read more

We needed to have some giant Valley Oaks trimmed and a 100+ foot pine removed. 4GT gave us a fair bid so we chose them to do the work. The crew was very professional. The foreman of the job, Ben, consulted us on each tree before they started to make sure we knew what was being trimmed. The owner of 4GT, Morgan, visited the site to make sure things were smooth. Tree branches are heavy and don't always land where they are intended. We had a few minor issues. But here is the the part that stands out to us, everything was repaired or replaced. No questions. We are fully satisfied with 4GT. The trees look beautiful, the clean up of branches and leaves left things looking better than before. No hesitation in recommending 4th Generation Tree. read more

We had some recommendations for this tree service and I have to say they were correct! These guys were fast and efficient, polite and fair. And, they thought the estimate was a little high so they reduced the price to what they thought was a more reasonable amount. We are beyond happy with this crew and highly recommend them. We will definitely use them again! read more

Awesome job! Thank you. Would highly recommend! They were affordable and got the job done with a great team.

This company is awesome! An Oak tree fell on my house. These guys came in and delicately removed all pieces to save my house from further damage. They even took great care with old patio furniture under the fallen tree. And best of all their bid came in significantly lower than the rest of the tree companies we called. Morgan and Crew did an excellent job of crown reduction on our willow tree. This tree is 25 years old and is a center piece of our yard so it was important to get it right, and they did at a fair price. I would recommend them highly. read more

There guys were really nice, HOWEVER, when they ask if you want wood chips I'm expecting WOOD chips not brush chips and when asked if they could trim up a couple of bushes and "square them off" and they do what they did???? I could've done that myself. Now it has created more work for me because my elderly parents certainly cant do it. read more

Very disappointed in this company. I had three companies come out all gave roughly the same pricing. I decide to go with a different company than this one only because the person who came out to quote the job was rude, seemed bothered to be there, and then handed me the quote paper and left without explaining anything about it. Made it feel like my business was not needed or wanted. Very unprofessional. read more

The crew was spectacular and polite. I definitely got what I paid for. Thanks 4GT read more

I hardly ever do reviews but have made an exception in this case. I've had A&T do work for me in the past and was happy with their work. So, naturally when I had a 90' pine tree that appeared to be dying due to beetles and other work at my rental I went straight to them. I left a message and Steve called me back in a reasonable amount of time. We discussed what needed to be done and made arrangements for him to check out the trees at both locations and call with me his recommendations and bids. Two weeks went by without a word. I called and left a message and still no response. I can totally understand if you are too busy to do my work but don't give me the impression that you are going to do something and then leave me hanging. Very unprofessional and bad form. I'm done wasting my time and will find someone else to do the work. read more

Never ever would recommend this company. Came in and gave low bid. Then you had too deal with office. I would pay a premium not to have deal with them again. We loved Steve who gave us our bid, then had to deal with Skip. Never ever again. They are sharks. If you are even thinking of doing business with them please text me read more

Great service. They removed four of my trees with stump removal. They returned my calls promptly and were easy to talk. Thanks again

Morgan and his team have been to my house multiple times throughout the summer to complete a massive job of clearing a ton of trees in our backyard. He and his team are always on time, friendly, do a great job, and are the best priced in this county. Some of our trees were near gas lines, and Morgan took the time to make sure the job was done right by having someone come out and mark the gas lines. I highly recommend 4GT. read more

We hired 4th Gen Tree to take care of several diverse and complicated projects on our property including tree trimming, tree removal, hauling of a fallen tree, stump grinding and general tidying up of the trees on our lot. Morgan, the owner, showed up on time to give us an estimate, which was a fair price for the work. He followed up with a schedule. His crew showed up at the appointed time, worked hard and did a great job. Highly recommended. read more

I tried another tree service in the past who happen to be very good! I had 4th Generation cut my trees this time, and I couldn't have been more pleased! The whole crew worked so hard even though it was one of the hottest days this year. Not only do my 6 trees look amazing, but they also left my yard looking phenomenal. The yard was cleaner after they got done. The entire crew was polite. I will definitely use them again. An extra big thank you to the owner! Traci H. read more

after getting my tree trimmed by one of the employees from a tree company, and me planning on chipping the limbs myself, I found out the cost of renting a chipper, which put the total cost 250 higher then If I had paid them to do the entire job, I called the man back, And explained the logic behind this, he said he could come by in May when his boss was on vacation. Who wants to wait two months to get your yard back. I had a friend who put me in touch with Charle, they came and gave me a very fair quote and completed the job the next day. I plan on changing tree companies to 4th GENERATION TREE for any future tree work I need. read more

I guess Morgan is the owner,,,I dont care if these clowns are 8th generation tree trimmers,,,THEY did not honor their original bid(from Morgan),,,I was told I'd get 5 hours for a bucket trimmer and chipping of brush,,,almost all from easy cutting semi-dead poplar trees,,,They were going to do a smaller job before I was told they would come to my place,,,then someone different called back,,,when I asked for confirmation on the reduced quote that Morgan gave me,,,he told me they charge a half hour drive time to my place & a half hour back to their yard,,,in which workers must be back by 3pm as I was told(& of course a lunch break),,,So all of a sudden my verbal agreed upon 5 hours of work DECREASED to about 3.5 hours(or less?),,,,I then called for Morgan to come back out & re-bid the same job,,,he came w/out calling(like I requested),,,and I was not even done w/morning coffee & gate was locked,,,,then he said he would call me later that day to come by ,,,see work I had already done on same trees,,,& HE NEVER showed nor called,,,,VERY UN professional/Re-nig on their original bid...Id search elsewhere.... read more
