I had several quotes for tree service to trim about 50 almond trees, remove dead ones and chip the wood. I was quoted 2.5-3 days with a three person crew. I was very specific that I wanted the dead wood and runners off the trees and the tops trimmed back 3-5 feet depending on the tree so the trees would be lower and have a nice round shape to them. The owner of company was barely on the property and only two firs did the work and they didn't use a bucket. They basically cut off good branches and left runner branches now all my trees look like martini glasses not trees. It will take years to be able to reshape them to look attractive. Plus the job took 5 days and cost me more. I have since had 2 other tree services come out to evaluate what was done and they confirm that the job was done poorly. These people decreased my property value and cost me $10,000 I do not recommend them. When I complained about the service they kept saying that the trees looked bitching. I disagree. They were a little reluctant to make any concession on their fees. I was reluctant to post a bad review, however having had the trees evaluated by two other services at this point, I felt that this was the proper thing to do so that nobody else has a bad experience. read more

Best tree trimming company! They did exactly what they said they were going to do. When the tree had more damage than expected they stopped the job and consulted with me before changing plans on how to tackle the tree. The tree is growing out just the way they said it would. I called and made an appointment to have an estimate completed, and from the very beginning it was a less than pleasant experience. The individual that came out for the estimate was not only a no show for the first two times but when they finally graced us with their presence they were late and all over the board. I just needed two trees looked at and ended up having to constantly inform them that it was only the two trees. I still have yet to receive an estimate for the potential project and it has been three months, with a constant weekly phone call to find out where the estimate is. If this is any indication on how they do their business then I will not be using them now or in the future. read more

I cannot begin to express how fantastic is this tree service. They have taken care of and trimmed our trees for at least 10 years. The oak trees look beautiful when they are finished. I am watching a wind storm right now and see my trees all 3-5 trunk oaks stable as can be and hardly swaying to the wind. Randall is a solid community guy who has learned his trade from the ground up (no pun intended) and served the north county for over twenty years. I happen to know this because I remember him working for my family years ago. Recently, at 1:00 o'clock in the morning, Randall was the only guy I could locate on call and who was willing to come out and rescue my cat from about 80 ft. in a giant oak.
