In July, 2013, Brad from Everything Solar came out to give us an estimate on some solar panels for…read moreour pool. At that time we expected to be replacing our roof in the next few years. Brad told me that when we decided on the roof, the company would come out and take down the solar panels and then replace them once the roof was completed and it would be free of charge. He said they do that as a one time courtesy and that any subsequent roofs we would have to pay. I remember chuckling at that because who replaces their roof every few years? We signed the contract and had the solar panels installed with Everything Solar. The solar panels did not pass inspection by the city and Everything Solar had to come out and put more screws down to secure everything and on the second inspection, it passed. The solar panels worked as expected for the past 9 years. Several months ago, we noticed some water damage on the ceiling of our upstairs bedrooms. We got several roofing companies to come out and assess the problem. The consensus was that it was finally time to replace our 17 year old roof. It lasted longer than I projected back in 2013 so I'm not upset about that. What I am upset about is that the water damage on our ceiling, the roofers and our insurance company concluded was caused by the solar panels coming loose and water getting in through the holes that no longer had screws securing them. The solar panels were not all secured to the trusses as they should have been in the first place. Today we called Everything Solar to talk to them about the one time courtesy removal that Brad promised (apparently just to make the sale) back in 2013. We were fortunate enough to actually get Brad himself on the phone. He claimed that they offer no such thing and he had no idea who would have promised that to us originally. It was you, Brad. You promised that and it was the reason we decided to sign with your company instead of one of the others we received estimates from. We weren't even complaining about the holes in our roof from improper installation, we were only asking for the removal and reinstallation before and after the roof replacement. The way a company treats it's customers after the sale is far more important than the pie-in-the-sky promises they make before the sale. I'm sorry I gave them my business and now that we are looking for additional solar panels once our roof is completed, Everything Solar will not be a consideration. Buyers beware.

We had concerns about mounting the pool heating system on our brand new roof but David assured us that everything would be fine. Nearly a year later we could not be happier. We have had no issues with roof leaks or anything as far as the system or workmanship goes. Today, Sep 24, 2022 would normally be a day when our pool is just a little bit chilly for swimming as we have a screened in pool area and our pool doesn't stay as warm as we would prefer but today, with a temperature of 89 on our shaded lanai area the pool is 87.6 degrees and super cozy!!! If you hire these guys, put a camara on the crew at all times and set up camp to observe everything they do. The design is good. The people , not so much. I'm sure they are not all bad but I got the bad one. In todays world with people in the working field who don't give a crap if they do a good job or not, be careful who you hire. Unfortunately, the sales and contract process did not meet the same standard. Important details that influenced our decision to move forward were not clearly documented or explained upfront. Also, the sales team was unorganized and lacked responsiveness, which led to inconsistent communication and made it difficult to get clear answers that we were able to trust. This created avoidable anxiety and stress. For a project of this size and cost, customers should be able to rely on clear contracts and straightforward timely communication. Thankfully, now we can communicate with team members outside of sales. In the end, we are happy with how everything looks.

Exceptional service, flawless install, and a truly top-tier solar system…read more Radiant Energy Solar absolutely exceeded my expectations. The owner/rep and the entire team delivered outstanding customer service and a flawless installation from start to finish. They responded to every call and question promptly, which made the entire process smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Radiant Energy Solar installs multiple solar brands and system configurations, and after doing over a year of deep research, I personally chose them and the EG4 system--I couldn't be happier with that decision. While I'm clearly biased toward EG4 at this point, it's because the performance, expandability, and overall value are hard to beat. It was EG4 that actually recommended Radiant Energy Solar as a top tier and trusted installer, in the state of Florida, which made me feel a lot more comfortable considering the amount of money that exchange hands. The system they installed is a true five-star setup--it looks as good as it functions. The workmanship is extremely clean, everything is perfectly aligned, and when the job was finished, the area was completely cleaned up. You honestly wouldn't know a major install had just taken place. The EG4 system itself is state-of-the-art, delivering incredible power and flexibility at roughly one-third the cost of many competing systems. The amount of energy I'm generating is simply awesome--and if I ever decide to go fully off-grid, it's essentially just the flick of a switch. I would absolutely recommend Radiant Energy Solar to friends and family--and in fact, two of my friends have already installed the same system, and all of us are over the moon with the results. Big applause to the Radiant Energy Solar team and to EG4 for putting together what is very likely one of the best solar solutions on the market today. Highly recommended.

From the initial consultation, Sam and the team at Radiant Energy were transparent and informative. They took the time to explain the system options, answer all my questions, and provide a detailed cost breakdown. The pricing was competitive and fair, with no hidden fees or surprises along the way. Communication throughout the project was outstanding. Sam kept me updated at every stage--from permitting to installation to final inspection. I always knew what to expect next and never felt left in the dark. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and respectful of my property. They completed the work on schedule and left everything clean and tidy. Now that my system is up and running, I'm already seeing the cost savings on my electricity bills. It's incredibly satisfying to watch my energy meter and know I'm generating my own clean power while reducing my monthly expenses. I highly recommend Radiant Energy and Solar to anyone considering going solar. The combination of fair pricing, excellent communication, and real results makes them a top choice.

Cayden was our point person, from the second he knocked on our door and told us about the business he was nothing but kind, professional, real and awesome to work with. He's hardworking, knows exactly what he's talking about, and you can see that he really studied the solar installation process from start to finish. He was patient, answered every question and even came out a 2nd day to answer some extra questions we had about the process. If he said he would have something to you by the end of the day, we'd get it within hours. There hasn't been one time that I called him and he didn't answer the phone. We spoke to 5 different solar companies around the Orlando area, and none of them impressed me as much as Cayden and Wattsun did. Plus we were more than surprised that our of all of those companies they were able to offer a great price for what they were providing, plus were willing to match anyone that came provided a lower quote with using the same quality material. After we signed the contract and started the project, one thing that we really loved was that Wattsun does not subcontract, so everyone that's had a hand in the project was in house. This ensured that the process was smooth and speedy. The team that came out to install was amazing! David, Chris, Chris, Chase, and Dennis all were kind, professional, & overall down to earth, cool guys. The entire project took 3 days to complete which was perfect & they were able to work on our time schedule. We have a tile roof in which we were told solar is harder to complete on, but they still made it happen and the tiles came out looking great. They even came back and spent an entire day fixing broken tiles! The owner of the company came out for a final walkthrough of the project, he introduced himself to me and walked me through all the little ins and outs of any concerns that we had about the project. Lastly, it looks great. We've seen a few other solar panels projects where the wiring was showing, and other aspects of the project looked thrown together. But for our house it looks great! Sleek and honestly made the roof of the house look nicer. They've truly set the gold standard for any company we work with in the future on home improvement projects. Make sure you do your due diligence like we did but I MORE THAN ASSURE YOU that no one else out there will compare to Wattsun.

The communication was great, they are absolute experts in solar, and the whole install and config process went smoothly. They don't try to sell you things you don't need, and in the end their price/value is extraordinary. What really sets them apart from other solar companies is that their goal is making sure you meet yours. They can be "pushy" on process, but this is a REALLY good thing to keep the project on time and on track. Finally, they care about the details. They got us through Duke Energy's complicated net metering process in RECORD time. They have exceptional documentation, from detailed drawings to permit applications, they know and can work the process so well. I heard stories of other solar customers who took months to get to net metering, we were up in 2 weeks. If you are looking at solar (or other) projects, add them to your list!

As my roof was finished, I scheduled the mounting service twice, and no call no show by them. I have to hunt them down as there are not always people pickup the phone. Then they out of nowhere they are asking for $1500 material, and I was like what? It never has mentioned, and not on the contract. Why didn't mentioned it at the begining? The two companies we originally worked with both went out of business one after the other, leaving us with a system that wasn't working and no one willing to service it. For years I basically had very large, very visible solar panels on my roof that you could probably see from space... producing absolutely zero energy. Thankfully Randall from Restore Roofing connected me with Blake at Florida Solar Contracting, and that changed everything. Blake and his team came out and within about 15 minutes had our solar system up and running and actually producing power again. After years of getting nowhere with other companies, I was honestly shocked at how quickly they diagnosed and fixed the problem. If you need solar panel repair or solar service in Wekiva or the Central Florida area, I highly recommend Florida Solar Contracting. Blake and his crew were punctual, efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything in terms I could actually understand. They walked me through what was wrong with the system, what they repaired, and what should have been done correctly in the first place. After five years of my solar panels acting more like roof decorations than energy producers, they are finally doing what they were supposed to do. I truly cannot say enough great things about Florida Solar Contracting. Blake and his team were fantastic and reassured me they're always just a phone call away if I ever need help again. Highly recommend them if you need solar panel service, solar troubleshooting, or solar repair in Wekiva and Central Florida.
