Im a real estate agent that scheduled this company for a solar system inspection for a client buying a home. Seems easy enough right? Nope. The day I scheduled the inspection, the tech was supposed to be at the property at 1pm. I had scheduled with the homeowners that still lived there so they would be able to keep their inconvenience to a minimum. At almost 4PM.... I get a call from the main office that the "technician is running behind." WHAT? Running behind? Hes almost THREE HOURS LATE! Annoyed as hell, I reschedule for the following Monday at 1pm. Guess what.. technician shows up at AGAIN.. at 330pm. I call the office to ask what in the hell is going on. I get a call back from the scheduler saying that its her fault because she didn't make the notes in the file complete enough so "the technician thought it was vacant and could just swing by on his way home at his convenience." I refused to allow the scheduler to take the blame and reminded her that an APPOINTMENT IS AN APPOINTMENT and the technician doesn't get the luxury "to assume he could just swing by on his way home..." What a joke. After reading the other reviews... I'm not in the slightest bit surprised. This company employs a bunch of guys that "show up when its convenient for them." read more

Unfortunately not only do the reps book an appointment and no call no show you. The companies management team can not be bothered to return a phone call or an email. I've emailed 3 times requesting an update. Once on Thursday, once again on Monday and once again today. ​for whatever reason the company doesn't want to finish the work or instal the panels correctly. I called for an inspection and paid $295 For a 38 minute look through. I waited a day for the report and it stated I need to purchase add ons so they could diagnose the issues. They also sent me images of someone else's solar system. I do not recommend. read more

Worker showed up early and completed job efficiently and quickly. Also found out that the equipment was still under warranty so no extra money out of pocket, which helps a lot in this economy. I contracted SolarFix to service the solar inverter box. Will definitely contact them for any future services needed. read more

Did not fix the issue, over priced. 300 to look at the your box, 500 to repair it. Another 300 to come back if the issue isn't fixed. Go elsewhere. read more

Appreciate their support throughout the process. Replacing a converter unit they worked to find options to fix vs replace and lay out the options, etc. Install job was quick. read more

Very knowledgeable and dependable . Mike was great to work with. Unfortunately I am on contract with Tesla Solar and needed a new roof asap. My contract states Tesla will remove and replace (r&r) however Tesla gave me a date of 10 months to remove. I had previously filed complaint on Tesla with the Az Attorney Generals office and didn't want another month's long battle so I contacted Solar Fix and they had my panels down in week and replaced asap when my roofing job was completed. SolarFix treated me like family.... When an error message and a red light appeared on the inverter screen of my 12 year old solar system indicating the inverter was not working, I called the manufacturer to see what to do. They suggested changing a couple of printed circuit boards in the inverter which was easy but did not solve the problem. After further analysis by them over the phone they told me the inverter's mother board was "fried" and that I needed a complete new unit..... about $5000, but they were "out of stock" with a six month backlog for a replacement. That's when I called the original system installer (who happens to be the largest solar installer in AZ) to see how soon they could replace it with another brand. They told me they were so slammed with requests for complete solar systems that it would be about 9 months before they could get to a repair like mine! So upset was I that I had an expensive 12,000 watt solar system on my roof that I couldn't use, I called the two other largest installers. Never heard back from one of them and the other one was supposed to send me a quote for an inspection and never even did that! It seemed to me that the big companies were more interested in selling a complete new system than repairing an existing one. After a lot of research, I found five smaller companies who are certified for solar work. I called them all and heard back from two. One came out and gave me an extremely high quote. Another had a somewhat lower quote, but still in the $6000 range. I never heard back from the other three. Fortunately, one of the managers at my original installer felt badly about the 9 month wait and directed me to SolarFix LLC in Surprise, AZ. From the moment I spoke with Laura in the service department and Mike Craig, one of the owners of the company, I knew I was in good hands. Mike came out to inspect and test the system at no charge. He and his partner, Cameron, asked why I wasn't re-furbishing my faulty inverter. I told them I had spoken to the manufacturer several times and they never suggested that nor did I think it was possible. It was then that they called and spoke with the inverter manufacturer from my home and told me after the call that their electrician, Miguel, would remove the inverter and that I should contact the manufacturer and make arrangements to ship it back and get it refurbished. The bottom line was that I shipped it back the next day, had it repaired and returned in a little over two weeks. Miguel and Cameron came out to reinstall it and start it up the next week. The readings I have seen on it tell me it is producing energy like it was new. I recognize that I don't have a 10-year warranty that a new inverter comes with, but when I learned from the manufacturer that when one of their inverters under warranty goes bad, they often ship the homeowner a refurbished one, I felt that I was likely to get many years of good life from the refurbished inverter at one-third the cost with a replacement time that was almost immediate compared with waiting months for someone to generate a quote and install a new one. The work by SolarFix was quick, efficient and they treated me like family by directing me to a much less expensive solution. These days, it's almost impossible to find a company that acts and responds like SolarFix did for me. read more

He went above and beyond to ensure we were getting optimal solar usage and came back on his own time to fix a repair under warranty which was not his responsibility. There aren't enough words in the English language to describe the level of service and care that was taken by Mike in evaluating my solar contract and solar production. It is my assumption that if you're reading this review that you are looking into Mike's services because you either already have solar or are looking into it. I'm very lucky that my contract and panels are performing, however, I wish I would have spoken to Mike prior to signing a solar contract. Do yourself a service and call him before you do anything and if you already have solar, call him now to make sure you're getting what you're supposed to out of your system.
