He kept in contact up to our appointment date and when he showed up I knew his main obstacle would be convincing my wife, and chief bill payer. He did. And, he had her sold early on. my experience with this company is poor. i was sold a system with 14 panels and they'd toss I. two free making it 16 3 weeks later salesperson says he can't give me two free panels. only one. tgen company says they will meet the agreement then I receive a document for my electric provider stating the microprocessoe pulse be Q7. I was sold Q8 I contact them they say they will honor agreement, I ask not to deal with salesperson any longer because he wants to charge more at this point so they arrange a meeting with sales manager he makes it sound like ll will be well but says he'll go back and talk to owners. 2 weeks pass with no communication so I text him, he ignores text, I text next day , again ignored , so I send message to office, tgey will notify sales manager, he says he had oral surgery but he'll call tomorrow when he feels he can talk , I say that doesn't sound good , should we wait until I have att present? he doesn't respond or call. i again contact office , I receive a text saying their attorney will be in contact. they have not sent agreement by email so I ask for one. they refuse to send it. i contact salesman he says see you in court. mind you I was ensured that they would honor their agreement. that's all I want , I was sold a system I want that system. financing was arranged a roofing contractor arranged etc. thinterest rates are up. they apparently think I should roll over and plat dead. they assured me I'd get what I was promised. now it takes tgeir att. wtf read more

So glad I finally did this! Aug 2022 and that was my breaking point. After not using my air, suffering through the heat wave with using the A/C as little as possible, being strict with the high usage hours etc and I still receive a PG&E bill of almost $500!! I checked my mail and a flyer from SIG was in my mailbox. I called Jennifer Schlicht that day. She met me 2 days later with the information. Everything sounded really good but I was still a little skeptical. I have three friends that have solar so I asked them how they like it, if your pg&e bill really goes down, is it worth it etc.. All three said yes. Two of the three did not use SIG and they both said they wished they had. That was all I needed. I called Jennifer and told her I was in. My experience has been wonderful! She communicated with me every step of the way. The SIG team came out and measured within days. And within a few weeks my panels were installed. My system isn't even turned on yet and my PG&E bill that has NEVER been under $200 in 15 years, was $59 this month!!! Damian is a great sales man. He was upfront about the pros and cons of solar which I appreciate. He was able to answer questions I had about battery storage. He could've easily told me it was worth the extra 18k per battery bank just to make money. But he advised against batteries and said it wasn't necessary since my area hasn't lost power enough to really justify. read more

I like supporting local businesses. I know they have perfect reviews but i have had quite the opposite experience. Up front was fine, install went smooth. Terrible experience after install. Some slow responses on the front end but I wasn't in a hurry so didn't think much of it. Since then it is obvious there is no customer service. At one point when i was looking for answers on low production I was even told by Jason that customer service items are supposed to be handled by the office. What?!? That is terrible business. Still can't produce what the system was supposed to so I get to pay large true ups to PG&E. Makes me sick. read more

In the past few years we have had several solar reps come to our door. We spoke in depth to one and for some reason I wasn't sold. The 'lease' was unclear and I was concerned with the unknowns of future costs. Last month Deanna and Dan from SIG came to the house and spoke to my husband. I later looked at the information and liked the fact that we could purchase the system and that the payments would stay the same. We invited them to come and talk to us and answer questions. They did so, and made their presentation. They also showed us what our savings should be and a preliminary idea as to how the panels would fit on our roof. At no time did we ever feel pressure to make a purchase. I had read their reviews and felt very comfortable with their product. We completed the paperwork the same day. The following day Jared came out and measured for the panels and provided an updated plan. The installers were here today and the system has been installed. Deanna and Dan even stopped by this afternoon to take photos of the completed project and to see if we have any questions. I am impressed that two weeks after deciding to go with SIG we have our solar system in! I liked the fact that everyone we dealt with was friendly and personable, arrived when they said they would, and the installers did a great job and cleaned up everything before they left. I would highly recommend SIG if you are looking to get solar...which you should. I am just sorry I didn't know about them sooner. Now, off to do laundry in the middle of the day! read more

You can't go wrong with SIG! Our house had leased panels through another company on it before we bought it, but we weren't comfortable with the idea of never owning our panels so we had the sellers take them off. SIG gave us everything we wanted! Fast installation, no money down, multiple finance options, tax breaks, and amazing customer service. Our PG&E bill was well over $200 (in the fall/winter) before we went solar, and since solar, it hasn't been above $20. We even have a pool, an extra refrigerator in the garage, and I like our house temp nice and cool in the Summer. Go solar and go with SIG! Matt from SIG Solar was a great help in getting our new system up and going in less than a month. He was direct and accurate in his cost estimate, planning and process. I appreciated that the expectations he set helped more smoothly navigate the red tape that HOAs and city governments tend to institute. I had several times where I contacted him with additional esoteric questions which he was either able to answer immediately or got answers exceptionally quickly. The survey team showed up on schedule and didn't waste anybody's time in making sure everything would be laid out as efficiently as possible. The installation crew also showed up right on schedule at my address which didn't even, at the time, show up on any maps. They finished the entire install in a single day, without incident, and cleaned up on their way out. The office staff was also great in making sure I knew what and when to expect things and then how to run and monitor the system, and what to do in the event I needed help in the future. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you. p.s. I have been patiently checking in to solar systems for my home. I am sure glad I didn't bite on the first three or four companies that put the dog and pony show on for me at my home and tried to get me to go for the "One Call" close! I had just about decided to go with a company in Sonora near to where I live when a close friend suggested I talk with the Kerr Brothers at The Solar Installation group from Oakdale. My friend contacted them and they contacted me. They came to my home, explained everything in detail to me and my wife, showed us product samples, gave us a better price on a 7kw system than all their competitors while giving us a higher quality solar panel and inverter than the competitors. Believe me! We researched it! I then checked the internet for reviews and there were none. At that point I asked for job (customer install) references. I only had to call 3. They all said the same exact thing! They talked about the great product at a lower price and the first class and quick intall time. 2 out of the 3 references were county building inspectors who make their living inspecting home solar installs. Both said there were many shady companies out there that gave their customers lousy material and horrible install jobs. They went with Solar Installation Group because of the high quality product and the quality of work on the installation. I have had solar for 3 days now and I am watching my PG&E smart meter roll back which means I am making more power than is being used! My last months bill was a whopping $647.00! My next months bill will be nothing or next to it! The Kerr family runs the whole show and they do a heck of a good job. They are very friendly, professional and not pushy! If you want solar for your home and you dont call these guys, you are making a big mistake! The payback on my system will be about 4.7 years. That is incredible! Thanks guys! read more
