Seems like a legit place. I have had my windows done there a few years ago. Seems like the same couple who worked there back then still work there today. They were a good deal compared to the place I called in hazel dell. Like $100.00 better. I did notice that my windows had all kinds of smudges on them tho. Otherwise all is good with the windows but I will have to see how they last. The waiting room there is really messy tho. They need to clean up the place. I would not suggest staying there while they tint your windows. read more

When I pay a higher than average price, I expect higher than average service. Typical messy window tint place. Water stains on interior doors panels from the squeegeeing water off tint x 4. Shop did not clean door panels. Lazy. some kind of dried white dust in trunk rain gutter (maybe soap from tint fitting to rear glass). Debris on carpet from dirty shoes Pieces of cut tint on the floor, seats and in the trunk. 2 small tears in one of the window's tint. But the part that made me soooo angry...water in my rear speakers!! I had water in my trunk (not the gutter) and I didn't think too much of it...but when my rear window got so foggy and wet I couldn't see (I didn't want to turn on defroster because new tint) I noticed wet speaker grills. I went back into the trunk and saw water steadily dripping from the speaker magnets...meaning water had soaked through the speaker cone, and surely deteriorating the speaker. Amateur hour. read more

Best service I've received to date. First car I brought in (not mentioning make and model) was completed with precision. Initial impression was great on a personal level, as, what appeared to be the shop owner discussed all film options, prices and timing upfront. No ambiguity. Upon taking delivery, normal warnings were clearly stated (some bubbles may appear but will disappear and don't roll down the windows for (X) days so the film will dry). Clear and concise. Weeks later I scheduled another appt for my other car (not mentioning make and model). Same care and consideration was taken. Spoke to the owner and everything was clear. No missed expectations. All applications were tight and fitted as if to factory expectations. 2nd car I applied windscreen and panoramic sunroof to go the extra mile :) Granted this took additional time and they DID NOT have a template for the panoramic sunroof, but trial and error at no additional cost noted excellent results. It's been a few months since both cars have been completed. I have zero complaints. Working on 2 "perhaps" difficult cars proved no problem for this team. One of my items that was in my car was stolen from me. Before I got my tint, I had my cbd oil in the cup holder and then after getting it tinted it wasn't there. Not very happy about that as to I use that daily to help me. Just noting don't leave anything out. read more

WARNING!!!!! THEIVES!!!!! WARNING!!!!!!! I left them with my truck and when I came to get it I was stoked. Looks amazing. Unfortunately, after paying and driving down the road. I notice that my change in my cup holder looked substantially less than when I took it in. Literally, every single quarter was stolen. So I called the shop to ask if there was any chance my truck was left unlocked and I was reassured that it was garaged and locked when left outside. I then told the man what my reason for asking was and he immediately offered to give me $10 dollars and then his tone changed. He then told me that he hadn't locked it when it was out front and that homeless people live in the field and probably took it. So, moral of the story. This shop is very dishonest. I have been going to Solar Eclipse tinting since they opened. I received a new company van every 4 years and first thing I did was take it to Solar Eclipse to get all the windows in van done. I carried lots of valuable tools and test equipment as well as personal items. I have never had any issues. They are honest and hard working and always do top quality work. I've used these guys for at least six different vehicles. They've always done great job but to just leave customers hanging is not good business. There is a reason people make appointments. I was told this place does really good work from a close by auto body shop my dad works at that uses this window tinting place regularly. I had a appointment made for 1pm, I didn't have a ride home so I waited. The lady told me it would take 2-3 hours. I waiting outside patiently and also watching my car sit in the parking lot for a hour after I had dropped it off. The lady called me and told me it was ready, at this time it was almost 6pm. From the out side it looked nice so I had know complaints and took it home to check it out more closely. I got home and my car was a mess, paper towels stuck in my window seals, drops on whatever they used to put my tint on all over in the back seats, back doors and also tons of finger prints and smudges on all of the door handles, inside and out. Even a black finger print on my white headliner. I had just bought this car and it was spotless, brand new. So all this messy shit was not there when I took it in. They did not take care of my car and it was very disappointing to see this mess everywhere, especially with Covid. My whole car should have been whipped down and cleaned on the inside. I wouldn't take my car here again. And I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Price is on par with other shops, materials used appear to be pretty cheap as after 3 years I am already seeing issues with the product. Work ethic is amounts the most dishonest I have dealt with. First go around with them my car was tinted and botched pretty badly. Found a corner where the tint had been cut too short and exposed bare window. Rather than re-tinting that window they tried to cover up the mistake by coloring my window with a black sharpie. The dishonesty alone was more infuriating than the initial quality of the job. Had them re-tint approx 75% of the vehicle after finding several other flaws, and it seems likely it was done at my expense because the product has not stood up to something I meticulously care for and it has only been a couple of years. I would not recommend and I refuse to return a third time for another lackluster go around in my windows, I would give 1/2 a star if I could. read more

Went back to their shop and looked at where I parked my car and noticed that there is metal scrape on the curb that matches the length on the one on my rim. Talked to the guy who worked on my car and he said he doesn't remember if he drove my car or the other guy did.... I called the next morning and spoke to the woman in charge and she said she sent the info to her boss and he'd get back to me. Took me three days of calling back each day to here from the owner and he said he'd have a rim guy repair my rim. Took that guy 5 days to reach out to me. I am extremely disappointed in the outcome of the overall services I received. The actual tint job done was great...minus the left over white powder residue inside and outside of my car that could have been cleaned up. I gave specific instructions as to how dark I wanted the tint due to state car inspections required in the new state that I'd be residing in. Today I went to get my car inspection done and it was way too dark!! I needed 35% and it tested out to be 25%. Hence, I now need to remove this tint!!!! Had an appointment at 10am to get my two front windows tinted. Showed up to my appointment and the place wasn't open so I waited around for 30 minutes and still no one showing up. I went home, called the shop 5 times over the course of a few hours and didn't get one answer. I got a call around 3pm and was told they said the opener didn't show up and told me to come in. I had two cars done there 6 months ago.One came out nice the other has been nothing but a headache.The promises of the work they could do was far from the truth.If it can't be cut out of a stock window size forget it,go somewhere else.This is not a custom shop,just ask them to draw a straight line and its over with.When I ran into a problem no matter what it was,it wasn't their fault.They left their scraps from the windows in the car as well as the windows were filthy.I recently found Audio Solutions did the job right the first time as I bought a new car since.Just glad to find a better shop. read more
