Getting a skylight put in with this company was the most straightforward and easy thing ever. I started by sending a Yelp request to the company, who then called me back. I set up an appointment after confirming a few details about my house over the phone (like what type of roof shingles I had etc). They were pretty heavily booked so the first appointment I had was about two weeks out. On the day of install Manny came out, confirmed where I wanted the skylight put in, and gave me a rough time estimate. He also coordinated with some other contractors I had at the house doing work on my floor so that they would not interfere with each other, which was amazing that he was able to act as a go between. He got the work done in record time. It was a clean install, no problems, no messes, and he gave me a quick rundown on care (which is nothing) and then how I can address the solar nightlight that is in it once it needs to be replaced. I love the product and I love the company for how easy they made this happen. The cost of my skylight was $949 upfront - I think there was an extra cost if you use a credit card to pay but I paid in cash. I think for how bright my hallway is now that I can say it was worth the value. read more

I cannot say enough about the service I received. It was beyond 100%!! Several months ago I saw a van with this business name and since I have been wanting to do this I just snapped a picture of the phone number. A few months later I called and spoke with Vivian. She was incredibly nice and a wealth of knowledge of the product. She also told me about a tax break for 2025 of 30% of my total. So we set up the appt after I told her what I wanted. No money was needed up front. She said that she would be sending Alex and that he would have all that was needed for the job should we want to go forward. Then came the rain. Vivian called me to let me know that there was no way it could be done until the rain had stopped and everything dried up. So this leaves me with the dilemma of the tax break for 2025. I NEVER pay for a job up front, so with much thought I gave her my card number and paid in full. I just had that feeling that it would be ok. Sure enough Alex and Eddie came today and did the install. These guys were incredible. Before any cutting was done, they marked the areas and made sure that I was fine with placement. This is my third house I had solar tubes installed and SOLA-LITE was the best. Manny was very knowledgeabl, friendly, efficient and placed covers on my island and floor so all debris was contained. I went from having a dark kitchen to one filled with light. also, they were $1000 less than my other bid. I highly recommend them. I'm astounded at how bright these "lights" are! I'm even happier that I don't have to use electricity during the day just to lighten dark areas of the house! Both my hallway and primary closet are located in areas of the house that have no windows, so naturally it can get very dark in these areas. I had heard about this company from a cousin who had installed it in her eerily dark restroom. It was a game changer! Their team is very punctual and professional. They measured the attic to see if there was enough room. That same day they were ready with the material and installation. It took no longer than one hour! It went smoothly and they cleaned up after themselves. When I had to change my roof (from shingle to clay tile), I called them with my concerns and they came back promptly to put a proper fitting against the new roof. Sola-Lite installers showed up within their window as promised, wearing masks. Manny and Sergio, my installers, were professional, efficient, and tidy finishing within the time frame expected. They cleaned up their debris from the installation. Neither room had natural daylight previously, relying only on electric lights for illumination. I wish i could give them zero stars. After scheduling an appointment and getting a confirmation call they never showed. My husband got off work early for them not to show up. No call, nothing. We are extremely pleased with our Sola-Lite whole-house fan. Not only did Sola-Lite have the lowest bid, but Sergio also noticed something that others missed. We have a gas water heater near the fan, and this could create a dangerous back draft situation. He told us we'd have to get other venting for the water heater to avoid drawing poisonous gas into our house. Sergio, the technician, and Matthew, the manager, offered to do it for us at minimal cost. Matthew also did extra work to advise us on how we could do it ourselves. I talked to another HVAC contractor who verified what Matthew was telling us, and also said how impressed he was that Sola-Lite noticed the potential issue. Was pretty much scammed i feel like. I was quoted $2800 for two slylight replacements because i needed the tinted ones. They tell me there "custom" and special order so i wait a month almost, mind you This is $1,000 over the lowest bid i got but they had supplied me with a little skylight thing. Soo get the product and it has a mark and its bright white. no tint no nothing and they want me to pay for the same ones i already had and said they would help with tinting them if i paid. so i did like an idiot and now they are saying its going to be $1200 just to tint them!!!!! We had a master shower that had no ventilation and the lighting was terrible. This shower was where you go to die. We battled black mold in the grout and the steam from the shower rusted the vanity mirror. So, when we decided to remodel we did our research about lighting and ventilation and the sola-tube light was the answer. We had the sola-tube put in before the remodel and surprisingly, that made such a huge difference! We had natural light and what was once a dungeon of a shower, was now light and bright. The install was super quick. We still went ahead with the remodel, but this by far was the best money spent. When we redo our next bathroom, this will be the first thing we do. read more

I was looking for a way to make my house more energy efficient . And try to keep the house cooler. After researching this found this company and they sent out Sergio who was patient and explained everything about this item. Special shout to Vivian as well from the Palm desert showroom who made all the arrangement to the install getting the appointments in line.. House is cooler and air conditioning is minimal ... will have to do the tube lights and a later time though ... but with the previous devious we definitely put them in next year... I had 2 Sola-lite fixtures installed today at my home in Riverside. I couldn't be happier! My dark dining room and guest bathroom now have a plethora of natural light. Best ever....called, inquired, learned, decided...they came out next day. In less than 2 hours I had "light"...have high, dark cathedral ceilings. Outside surrounded by tall mountain pine trees...only had table lights, no ceiling lights (electrical)...they are not needed!!!!
