The LED lights in our kitchen flickered intermittently. We weren't sure if it was the lights, the switch, or the circuit breaker. We called our trusted electrician only to learn he had recently retired. Without hesitation, he strongly recommended that we call Anson at San Dimas Electric. Anson investigated the problem and concluded it was the circuit breaker. He showed us how to listen carefully and hear the buzzing noise coming from the kitchen light circuit breaker. Anson noted that while our 37 year old circuit breaker (original with the house) panel was not on the "must replace" list, it was worth considering replacing the panel with a newer model that met today's stricter safety standards. This was sage advice so we engaged Anson to replace the entire circuit breaker panel. Anson replaced the circuit breaker and some of the associated garage electrical wiring and outlet over two days. Then, his stucco team came in and blended the new stucco so perfectly with the original stucco you could not tell where the original stucco ended and the new stucco started. Days later, once the stucco had completely dried, his painters perfectly matched the surrounding paint. Aside from the fact that there is a shiny brand new circuit panel box in our wall, you would never know any work had been done. Anson, his stucco team, and his painters worked their magic. We are 100% satisfied and pleased with the work performed by Anson and his team and his pricing is fair and competitive. "San Dimas Electric" is definitely the place to call if you're looking for a professional electrician with real integrity!!! Last night around 3am my son went to bed, but just before doing so, he plugged a stand up fan in the outlet next to his bed because the heat this summer has been relentless!!! Next thing I know, he walks up to me telling me the outlet sparked and is very hot so I went to check it out and sure enough, the cover was very hot!!! I grabbed my tool box and removed the cover and we could smell a little bit of smoke!!! I pulled the outlet out to get a better look and it kept sparking until a little fire actually started!!! My son ran to grab our fire extinguisher as I let go of the outlet to grab my wire cutters... the fire quickly extinguished itself and I cut all the wires to end the threat of another fire!!! After capping and taping off the exposed wires, we discovered four (4) outlets in my son's room and our living room stopped working so we went out to the electrical box to reset the fuses but after many failed attempts, we couldn't get power back to the other outlets!!! I went online to research possible reasons why and it was either a quick and inexpensive way to fix or we would need to call an electrician for help and who knows how expensive that would be!!! Frustrated over not being able to fix the problem yet thankful we discovered and removed the threat of an electrical fire possibly burning my son's room down, we went to bed to get some sleep before having to call for help in the morning... Shortly after 8am, I called "San Dimas Electric" and I spoke to Louie... I explained what happened and Louie said the earliest he could get to our home would be like 6pm... I asked him how expensive this would be because money has been a little tight lately and Louie asked me if I was handy enough to work with outlets... I told him I was so he explained what the simplest thing the problem could be and how I could fix it!!! Taking Louie's directions, I headed out to my nearest hardware store to fix the problem before the heat of the day became a problem as well!!! When I got home, I turned off the power to my home. I then tapped up some of the exposed wiring and I installed a new outlet... I then turned the power back on and amazingly, that's all it took to fix the problem and restore power back to the other outlets!!! I spent just over $5 at the store to fix the problem!!! Louie could've told me not to touch anything and wait for him to help which would've cost us a lot more!!! Today, my I plugged in space heater downstairs and I turned on the microwave at the same time and I blew the electrial out! POOR LOUIE !! he came he quoted a GREAT price then got buried by more work than seemed possible because of some old ass panel we have. Like a man of his word he still all the extra work for what he quoted and even had to come back a second time because he need more parts. Louie is not only a consummate professional and exceptionally competent, but he is just a great guy. I needed my electrical panel upgraded and an electric vehicle charging station installed in my garage. I had trouble getting a hold of other local electricians and the couple whom I did talk to did not seem terribly confident in the EV charger installation process.
