Had a voltage problem with some circuits in the house. Lights were dimming and pulsating when appliances were running. The house wiring was relatively new, and the problem developed with no apparent change to circuits, appliances, etc. Steve quickly diagnosed a problem with the neutral line at the breaker box. He then took a look at the supply line from the pole to the house and noticed there was damage to the line, which was apparently caused by tree trimmers sent by the utility. Very very bad experience got the number from yelp called them up he said $75 diagnostic fee. I said no problem. He came for a tripping breaker replaced it right away and charge me $200 for a part that I found for much less at a local home store the cost was $12 so basically he replaced a trippy breaker that costs $12 for $200 even though the breaker that he replaced I had another Electrition take a look at it and he told me it's fully functional and no need to replace it and I still have it. He only offered a partial refund after I said I would leave a bad review and told him I was upset. I declined the partial refund that he offer because money is not everything by the way the breaker that he installed is tripping again I felt taken advantage of, and I found the service unprofessional. When my downstairs electricity suddenly stopped, I was worried about all the food that might rot in my refrigerator. Luckily, Steve answered my call on a Sunday afternoon and gave me a great idea of using extension cord to a working outlet in order to power my refrigerator until his electrician could arrive. Since I was no longer freaking out about my refrigerator, I decided to have 24/7 come over on Monday instead. Steve sent over Brian who quickly found out that my problem was a nonfunctional /broken circuit breaker. Brian quoted me $300 which included the diagnosing/ troubleshooting, the replacement of the circuit breaker, and the circuit breaker itself. Brian was quick and professional. In general, electricians are pretty expensive; So this price is reasonable (especially since Brian seemed knowledgeable), but I would not say that 24/7 Electric pricing "is cheap"...Here's another sample quote, Brian estimated a price of $400 to remove and replace a bathroom light with fan vent.
