The reception area of the studio is beautifully decorated, clean and well organized. Plenty of space to store your belongings on hooks and cubbies as well. The bathroom is also very well taken care of and provides various supplies if needed. The yoga studio also has peaceful decor in an intimate setting and low lighting. I was only 1 of a handful of people which was nice. The teacher Kelly instantly made me feel relaxed with her instruction. I did not feel overwhelmed by the movements we were doing. She was always sure to tell us that we could move at our own pace and only do what you feel you are capable of. That made me feel that much more comfortable. I felt no judgement at all and was very satisfied at the end of the class. I went home and was able to fall right asleep! I look forward to more classes and will be sure to recommend this studio to others!

I went to cancel the membership because of this reason. Apparently you have to pay out the full year. DO NOT signup here. There are much better places in the area that will actually let you be able to workout or even let you leave the contract without needing to pay the entire year. I only been with them a few months but will never go with Crunch in any city after this disaster. If you like checking out barely dressed females tho then I highly recommend. They don't give two poops about what goes on in the place just that they get paid.

She is SO good at understanding each individual's needs, abilities and limitations and offers modifications- all while pushing you to do your best. What's great is that she is this hard core smart teacher - coupled with a great personality- she is the only one that can make Pilates both challenging and enjoyable (well almost enjoyable- it is hard work after all). Some advice, if you're going to give your credit card to a company that practices like this, is to make sure you block them with your credit card company after your membership is up. ( the following is a reply to the reply from one life) Hi Kelly, I think it might be wise to get some facts straight before you reply. Your regional manager never "explained" anything. After looking through the internal notes of the account, the general manager thought I should be refunded. But he could not authorize such a large refund and had to kick it up the chain to the regional manager. After many attempts, the regional manager essentially ignored the flagged requests from the general manager. So please, do your due diligence and look through the internal notes on the account. I don't judge a company by the mistakes they make, but how they fix them.

They also seemed responsive to their member surveys and it seemed like my suggestions for improvement were actually taken into account based on the changes I observed. I love that we were instructed to use blocks and pillows and blankets as needed to aid us with our balance or stretching or to cushion our knees or rear. I've taken about 6 classes so far from beginning yoga to hot yoga, cycle class, Pilates, and gentle yoga. I enjoyed every single class, and even though it's only been about two weeks I'm definitely feeling the difference in my body! I leave every class with a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction that I completed the class! I've been challenged for sure and I absolutely want to stick to this new way of life! He chatted with us for a really long time, asking about what we were interested in, why we popped in, and on and on. He also told us his own history and the Boulder Yard's history. He gave us a few specific suggestions and ideas, including that his sets are a bit different than most (they are) and, more important, his floor cushioning is very different than most other gyms. It is. It is much MUCH softer than most which is good but he suggested taking a few falls before we went too high just to get used to the feel. It's also like walking on the beach --- walking from one side of the room to the other will wear out your legs. His walls are not textured (mostly) so if you're planning to smear a lot --- well, you won't. But it is more realistic this way. The majority of the place is boulders but he's also got two workout areas with equipment, two separate rooms that he uses to teach some martial arts (didn't catch what kind), and, for the helluvit, a Nintendo/Playstation/whatever setup for, I guess, if you're tired and just want to zone a bit. We'll absolutely be back. We paid $54 for two day passes; quite reasonable I think. Oh, and he does his own woodworking (as do my partner and I). Took a pic of the large benches in the front of his shop. Hand-made from some trees that he grabbed from his own yard. That was cool!!!
