    Pier Bowl

ABSOLUTELY GO HERE!!! Everything about this place was great. I got a Pumpkin flavored Latte (decaf no less!) and it was PERFECT. Not overly sweet like so many places do. More is NOT always better! For my breakfast, I picked the Pier Bowl and it was both extremely tasty and also very filling (smaller size). I'll agree that they're a bit pricey, but they're using quality ingredients here. You get what you pay for... The service was quick, on point, AND friendly. The decor and atmosphere of the place just really fits the bowls/smoothies vibe. Lots of plants and decorated really cute. They've even got some local vendors' stuff for sale. Love it!

So good! Delicious açaí bowls with fresh fruit toppings and granola. They also have smoothies. There's something for everyone here - our toddler finished an entire smoothie on his own. The staff are so nice and helpful. Open and airy inside with some cute clothes and jewelry to purchase from local vendors. There's also some picnic benches out front if you want to eat outdoors. We stopped by for breakfast, but this would also be perfect after a day at the beach or an great alternative to grabbing some ice cream! So excited for this addition to the Island!

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach. Inside is very clean and nice. We had the Sol Bowl and the Good Life. Both were excellent and we loved the combinations. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite.

Breakfast of champions this morning: highly recommend Satisfy Your Soul (on left) or Ground Swell smoothies. Make sure and add Sol Bowls to your EI agenda.

I've never had an Açaí bowl before but have wanted to try one for a while. Soooo glad I gave this place a try. The owner is so friendly and eager to help in any way. She recommended the bowl that the whole place is named after and it was so good. My brother got an iced latte and it was delicious too. She has a little tikes car and a little bike for kids to ride around inside and the decor is so cute. Definitely a place to return to!

    Açaí bowls

Before we walked the beach we came to this hole in the wall açaí bowl place for a quick and easy snack. We picked up two acai bowls (Sol,Pier) to go. There is a multiple little benches to wait for your bowl, definitely beach themed. The base of the bowl leaned more dense smoothie like rather than a creamy ice cream like consistency. We found the toppings to be the perfect amount. The strawberries were sweet and added nut butter tasted phenomenal. The serving size was SPOT ON, definitely filling enough for a light bite but not enough to be be shy taking your shirt off on the beach. My wife and I will definitely be back very soon!

    Cozy sitting area

What a gem of a spot! Great addition to the area! The atmosphere is laid back and beachy cool and the food is fresh and tasty! We will be back!

I live in Jacksonville, but I'm in the area very frequently. To be honest, I don't look in this little strip very often, but noticed new Sol Bowls. Looked at their site and decided to stop in for a treat. The place looks awesome! The vibe is great, the customer service was good, and the bowl was yummy! They closed while I was eating inside and one of the girls assured me that I could continue enjoying my time because it takes them a while to close up. That was very thoughtful. I got the Good Vibes, which is a Pitaya base, and it was wonderful. First time having that. Next time I'll try a different base so I can see which is my favorite. My son has celiac disease and also can't have dairy, so it's hard to find treats for him when we go out. Can't wait to bring him here and him be able to order whatever! So happy to have this addition in EI. Great place for me to bring visitors too. It was a little pricy for me personally because I watch the budget, but it was really good, and I'll be glad to come back.

LOVE this place. The Acai bowls are delicious. They have a smaller and a larger bowl option. Coffee is great too.

After giving a credit card to reserve the reservation, we got 2 phone calls AND a text to confirm the reservation. The first two phone calls required about 15 minutes each to confirm. We were right on time and promptly seated. Keeping in mind it was a holiday, they knew their occupancy rate and being primarily reservations only, they had 2 servers, 2 runners and 1 bartender. They were all overwhelmed. Our server did nothing beyond taking an order. She never checked back to see if my husband got his drink. Or if we got our food. She is super cute and charming but for what is supposed to be a high end experience, I expect more in terms of service. At one point, we were told his drink was comped. We appreciated an attempt to rectify a poor experience but nothing really improved. The shrimp stater was too salty for us to finish and I gave that feedback, respectfully. My husband's steak and my snapper seemed really good at first bites. But his meal was also too salty and my meal was both too fishy (for the snapper) and the barely lukewarm (for the lemon risotto). The chocolate dessert was delicious. The service was terrible. Again, I expected a lot more than a diner-like experience, in terms of both food quality and service.

She was completely fantastic and made our anniversary dinner enjoyable. The service was great. The food however, was very disappointing. The chicken on the chicken dinner only had a little black pepper, we could not even taste salt. The potato casserole and the green beans that came with the chicken dinner were extremely bland...no other vegetables/onions, seasonings or sauces to add flavor. The pork chop was undercooked and had to be sent back, it was still pink when it came out the 2nd time, but we dared not send it back again. The brussels sprouts were very oily, however, they did have good flavor. The drinks were very good. Overall, we may give it another try, but we will wait until they have adjusted their menu.

I ordered the blackened mahi taco which was a daily special with cabbage and pickled onions. I also ordered the tuna taco with bacon, cabbage, tomato and chipotle mayo. My favorite taco was the veggie taco which had a great mix of coconut rice, black beans, peppers, corn and cilantro lime cream. My kids had the beef taco with cheese and they loved it. The kids meal comes with chips and salsa. The staff was helpful and nice. The food came out pretty quickly for being really busy. This used to be our favorite, and let me tell you why it no longer is... First, and worst, the customer service. They couldn't make any exchange for the spicy salsa that comes with the kids meal, so basically I'm paying $7 for a tortilla with melted cheese. Additionally, my kid was taking our plates up the steps and fell, getting salsa all over his arm. As he sat there picking up everything, two workers walked by him and ignored him. Didn't ask if he was okay or offer to help. I guess that's what happens when you hire kids that don't care about anything. They all seemed unhappy and I encountered 5 different people and zero smiles. Secondly, the food and prices. I get that everything has gone up in price, but don't go up in price and down in quality, skimping on things that used to be free and plentiful. I just don't want to pay more for less. Lastly, we caught management in a lie and that's just not okay. You gave my husband an excuse for something and me a totally different one. Don't make up stuff to force your ridiculous policies. Bottom line, the food is pretty good, we've been here more times than I can count, but next time remember that customer service goes a long way and you could have just made right an issue that cost you pennies instead of reading this review.
