I was here on a very busy Saturday to meet up with my Jeep club. I had a Chris Poppin's Lotus Energy drink & half an order of Sweet Berry Kiss with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were the only thing that was a miss & that's because they're typically used for burritos. The staff handled the crowd of folks very well and it didn't seem as if folks had to wait too long for their orders. The only thing I see could be improved are more inside tables & chairs. There isn't anything to not like about this place! So many different seating options, including the outdoor patio nicely tucked away in the back with really decent shade for those warm summer days. I've had everything from their breakfast sandwiches to waffles and even their açaí bowls and coffee. All the sweet people behind the counter have always been patient, attentive and kind. Had came here 3 yrs ago and had to return to now that back in the area and its just as good as I remember it being. Protein shakes will always hit haven't had a flavored I haven't enjoyed. Wife and I tried the waffles for the first time and I had the apple pie and it was amazing. Wife had the bacon waffle and I will say if you have a sugar sensitivity I would avoid it. Filled every crevice with brown sugar. Other wise food and customer service is amazing. This little waterfront cafe had so much to offer I went back twice in one weekend of visiting the area! The specialty coffees are great, but the real MVPs are the toasts! Beyond your standard avocado or ricotta toast, we tried the goat cheese with mixed berries and lemon toast that was phenomenal as well as the caprese both offered on sourdough. A few days later I went back to get some work done in this tranquil aesthetic setting, and tried the Cobb salad that was delicious as well. This is a great coffee shop. Space for sitting down to do homework, chat with friends, etc. The food is just extremely underwhelming. The coffee is okay. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was just under seasoned, potatoes were undercooked, and just bland. I expected it to be better since it seems to be a well run place. The workers seem nice though they never really smile and I used to not care since I work in the service industry as well. Such a cute & fun place to visit while in Jacksonville! I popped in here because I recently became a fan of fresh pressed juice, and don't have the supplies at home to make my own. Upon walking in I was happily greeted by two gentlemen working at the front counter. They were more than prepared to take my order for me as well as answer any questions I may have had. I ended up ordering the Revive juice, which was delicious unfortunately I cannot remember the exact combo of the fruits and veggies in it. I also ordered the "sweet tooth" toast which was toast topped with Nutella, strawberries, banana & dark chocolate chips. Both were AMAZING, and definitely filled a craving for something sweet. After taking my order I was able to go and sit outside and my order was brought out to me when it was completed. It was a nice day out so I opted to sit outside. The only reason I am rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because blend has a great deck with an amazing view of the river- however unfortunately a good amount of the furniture outside looked or appeared to be broken. I do however understand that it is technically winter so maybe they weren't expecting the weather to be so nice & put the good furniture away somewhere. Blend cafe has amazing food and service. However, as someone who frequently dines in and works, I've had to get up and leave after a few minutes from the amount of parents allowing children to run around the restaurant and be loud and disruptive. I understand it's not a kid free world, but you would at least expect decency from grown adults that can properly parent their children in public spaces. I even had a child repeatedly yank on the bathroom door handle, screaming while I was inside, while the mother stood there and allowed it. My wife and I used to be frequent blend customers, but we honestly stopped going due to the atmosphere. It's a shame since it had become one of our favorite spots in town. read more

Always a great experience here !! It's a nice little place for me to hang out with my daughter while she plays in the hang out area. I'm able to keep an eye on her and I can eat and relax. The location is so nice being on the water and they're dog friendly but the last three times I've come here they've been out of something. The have a board listing out refreshers but when I asked for one, the cashier said they don't sell them anymore. Why would you advertise something you don't sell? Then i asked what it's the passion fruit refresher and she said it's not just passion fruit, it's passion fruit and mango and kiwi but the board has commas separating all of those flavors so it seems like you can just pick the flavor you want but you can't. They're nice and the view and set-up is great but they just don't meet the mark with inventory/what they're actually selling. read more

I came in for the first time ever yesterday because naturally, I was curious. The men behind the counter were nice but did not know much about the products as they stated they primarily work in the back. I did notice a table to my right with what appeared to be some off duty personnel and one of the women was darting ugly looks in my direction no doubt because I pointed out that everyone who works there should function as a team and that includes the knowledge of the business and the products they serve (the truth always hurts). I could not believe my eyes at some of their prices which I don't see how they can justify an energy drink for $7.95! Most energy drinks go for about 3 dollars. It was late and I had nothing at home so I just got a pumpkin pie iced latte and an order of their sweet tooth toast to go. It was fortunate that it was a Monday and I took advantage of their military discount which is only honored on Mondays. I'm not sure if the owners realize most people do not have a lot of money these days and this place is rather pricey. What a hidden gem in J-ville! It was so nice to have a healthy, non chain option to go to. This place is very similar to Herbalife shakes but only they have less calories and are homemade rather then made from a corporate product. They have a few food items and the avocado toast looked really good. The shakes only have 120 calories and mine was really good. I ordered the cake pop one which was similar to birthday cake in Herbalife. The Set up inside is my type of place with a calming, hippie kind of vibe. There are plants everywhere! I also love that they have two outside seating areas and one is on the water. I will be back everytime I am in the Jacksonville area. Service was also great! read more
