Every town in America needs a froo-froo coffee shop that isn't the green siren people and The Coffee Co gets it done for Richlands. This is a very pleasant shop with comfortable seating inside and comfortable seating outside. I ordered a double espresso with a shot of sugar free vanilla and I think the young girl taking my order got confused because I was handed a nice latte with two shots and sugar free vanilla. So thankful that we have this little coffee shop in Richlands with some delicious espresso drinks, pastries and muffins, and even a pup cup for my favorite pup!! Today's trip I picked up one of my favorites off the temporary seasonal menu, a hot Peppermint White Mocha Latte! I love that it wasn't a total sugar bomb like what I would get from the chain coffee place nearby, and that I am able to actually enjoy the flavor of the espresso. My pup enjoyed the whipped cream in her pup cup and never quite made it to the dog treat at the bottom . Also the staff here is amazing! Super friendly and you can tell they and the owners care about the community they live in, specifically giving back at this time of year with the Angel Tree supporting the families of Onslow County. read more

My husband & I were very excited to try The Coffee Co. We've recently moved to Richlands & have heard nothing but good things about the coffee shop. However, we were disappointed our visit, unfortunately. First, we weren't huge fans of the drinks we received. The lattes were overly sweet & syrupy. Additionally, the customer service wasn't great... The workers seemed less than thrilled to help us- as if we were bothering them. This is the best coffee spot in Richlands! My husband and I come here every other weekend and the customer service is always great. The ladies that work here are always striking up a conversation with us and seem happy to be there. The inside is really nice too, they sell books, mugs, and candles that are made in fancy tea cups and they're so reasonably priced! Their coffee is great, I usually order an iced red eye (it's not on their menu but they know how to make it!) or an americano. Occasionally I'll get one of their seasonal drinks which are also great, but I've found them to be a bit too sweet for me. Absolutely my favorite craft coffee spot. Every drink I've ever had from here has been spot on. I have been coming here on a regular basis since this place has opened. What I enjoy the most is that all of their syrups are homemade and the syrups are not to over sugary. If your drink does not taste right. They try to correct it or make you a new one. Not many places do that. And the staff there is beyond amazing! Today my latte was made by Brittany . She made it just perfect. She always has a great attitude anytime I've come in. This is a new coffee shop that's just recently opened up in the Richlands area! It's a bit tiny, but love the feel of it. It's also pretty easy to get to because it's right off of the highway. Parking can be a bit difficult to maneuver, but still manageable. They have a few tables inside with about 4 seats per table. They also have a bar you can set at that's located away from the front counter. They have different types of drinks, made in different types of ways, with food items that you can choose from. They also have a take of Starbucks's puppichinos. I was told it's similar to Starbucks, but they add a nice little treat on top for your fur babies. They have some outdoor seating, with some cover and lights that are hung up. We've only ordered their drinks so far, but have not been disappointed in anything we've ordered. The staff are really friendly and work quickly to get your orders to you. I would recommend stopping by and ordering something from their menu and maybe have a seat outside and enjoy yourself. read more

The staff behind the register is so friendly and the drink I got (LARGE HOUSE COFFEE WITH LOTS OF CARAMEL AND VANILLA AS FLAVOR (mention i hate coffee flavor so load it up with the pumps) light ice with oat milk, sweet foam, and extra caramel drizzle on top) and it was amazing. As a grad student, currently online due to covid, I find a coffee shop each semester to conduct my studies. This semester, The Coffee Co. landed on my list. I was super excited! A local coffee company, small business, close to home, it was perfect! After 8-10 visits I really only have one complaint... the wifi sucks lol. The staff is more then hospitable and genuinely care if you have a good experience or not. I enjoy a good flavored coffee but generally prefer my coffee black. The black coffee roast has a GREAT flavor but the few times I've tried others it just seemed.. inconsistent. Anyways, love this place, the staff is awesome, great atmosphere, just wish they had better WiFi and I didn't have to tether through my phone while I was there. read more

Def not a millennial friendly establishment, we ordered 3 lattes in total, the honey lavender gave me an amazing nostalgic memory of fried chicken from a Japanese mall I used to visit so that was worth the $4, the iced latte was tainted with coffee grinds so immediate pass and was about the size of a sippy cup, and the caramel latte was warm milk with a nice hint of espresso, caramel who?Employees messing with hair and not sanitizing after which is a MASSIVE pet peeve like gross I have no idea when you've washed your hair, if you have bugs OR if the hair contaminated the work area not to mention MY COFFEE. Only one person in store wearing a mask,which she took off to make my coffee lol, nobody else wore a mask or sanitized to make our drinks. During a pandemic, by the way cases are rising. No sign of customer service or customer service personalities in sight especially for a new store, overall a very MEGH experience for a new coffee shop. read more

Great atmosphere indoors and out. They have a nice outdoor seating area that I'm sure is great in the summer. Interior decorating is very nice and the place is well taken care of. I ordered a 20oz caramel vanilla latte it was well made and wasn't a cup of ice like many other places lattes are. It also came out promptly despite the steady flow of customers.
