Soju 101 - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

I loved going here for karaoke and good food! My friends and I had a blast and our tab was totally reasonable. Love this staff.

My new fave noraebang. Haven't done this since my high school and college days in NYC and NJ. Glad to have a spot that's nearby, has good food, good drinks and soju too!. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Staff is super nice, and place is new and super clean. read more

Food was decent no surprise. Just few tables but Service was super slow. Restroom was very dirty. I don't think I will come back.

Food was good, drinks were good, the service was terrible. We had a group of about 15, we had a private room for 2 hours of Karaoke where we all ordered our food and drinks. During the 2 hours we told them multiple times that they had brought out several plates of extra food that we didn't order. We didn't eat any of the extra food and tried to give it back but they wouldn't take it. Our server didn't come back after the first time we told them about the food so we didn't have our server help us for the entire last hour... When we went to try to pay, we tell them again about the extra food and they still refused to take it off the bill. When we asked for a manager they said there wasn't one working at that time... What..? We eventually paid for the entire bill including 4 plates of food we didn't order plus an automatic gratuity to a server that came to the room two times. Terrible experience. *Additionally we booked this well in advance and told them 15-20 people might be coming. They told us the room would work, but there was seating for maybe 5 people in that room. read more

The place is energetic, fun, and the food is pretty good. We ordered spicy rice cakes, japchae, kimchi fries and pork cutlet. Honestly pork cutlet was alright, the cutlet had no pork but only fried. The side salad was fresh tho. kimchi fries... please put more kimchi because we felt like it was cheese fries instead. the japchae and spicy rice cake were pretty good! the cocktail sampler... yogurt flavor is yummy and green apple & grape - end taste is a lil bitter but still good. the strawberry flavor tasted like cold medicine. but overall great place to chill. definitely coming back. read more

Great place to hang out with friends with a really good vibe and great drinking food. Mostly food that you can share with the table. The tables had a button that called the waiter over and seemed to be a better alternative as just trying to wave the waiter over as both waiters on the floors seemed to come over if the other wasn't available. There was pictures of almost everything on the menu as most of the food menu was in Korean but there was also English names/descriptions. read more

Food was TRASH then wouldn't even take it off the bill. Just get the alcohol. Even I think that's watered down.

Good is fair for the price as far as size and quality! Drink specials are great with soju and beer combo. Service is great and fast! Worth checking out! read more

The karaoke rooms are super clean and cool so when you start signing, it doesn't get super warm. The service is fast and friendly and the drinks are really well made. This is probably my favourite karaoke place in Houston/Katy because the prices are much better than most other places. Definitely recommend! read more

First of all, when we arrived, it wasn't busy at the restaurant. It took approx 30 min for my fiancé to get his food. Another 10 min after that for me to get mine. We both ordered the chicken wings. Secondly, the wings were good but it wasn't worth waiting so long for. The other thing is that the portions are big so I guess that's a plus too. The staff was good too. I'm not sure i would come here if I was hungry or on a time crunch. Seeing that they offer free drinks for posting yelp reviews, I'm not sure how reliable they are since everyone is giving 5 stars. Had I known about the wait for food before coming here, I probably would have planned better. read more

I really like this place! It has a nice ambiance and really large selection of food and drinks as well. Haven't been able to try the karaoke rooms yet but will definitely be back to try! Great place to hang out with friends. read more

Cute little spot in Katy! Many different types of soju!! Differently worth a try. It's in the shopping strip in Katy Asian center.

Great place for karaoke! Glad Katy finally has such a place. The chili creamy shrimp was delicious! I wish this place also had dessert though. Having some ice cream would be nice. read more

The food is decent but the customer service here is terrible. I come in and have a seat but no one pass by to check up or give me water for the whole 30 minutes. The waiter/waitress is very slow to react, too. Secondly, the quality of how they pack their to go is too problematic, the container that they packed my korean army hotpot is sloppy and leaked even tho they had already wrapped top container already. As a result, when I take the bag out to my car, the whole container drop and dumped everything out. I'm really upset because I had drove 40 minutes back and forth to Katy to get their food, and the service that I received is so terrible... Now, I had no food to eat due to this situation. i had never come to a korean restaurant that had such a unprofessional customer service like this. If you want late night food, consider other restaurant, pls don't come here and be like me, because the server won't even care about you!!!! read more

Great atmosphere, food and drinks. We came in a large group and very please with the service as well. The food is probably the best in town. It's totally different from other Korean Restaurant that I've tried before. The bartender and servers were awesome. Highly recomend this restaurant. I wish that I could give this place 10 stars read more

Friendly, attentive staff Very lively environment Large variety of drinks and food Big portions Actually clean bar area read more

Just enjoyed a wonderful meal at this place. Four adults and one toddler had the Spicy Rice Cake, 101 Pork, Army Hot Pot, Galbi, Pa Dak. Definitely leaving happier and full! I recommend the Pa Dak, and 101 pork for sure! My toddler loved the Galbi! read more

I love how the rooms are separated and there's so much space in the room. The speakers are loud and the lighting is really fun. The songs are super updated so we had fun singing along to the songs that are out on the radio right now. Will be coming back soon! read more

Awesome ! Korean ribs portion was big and would cost more if I were to go anywhere else. Flavorful. The clear noodles and tofu soup combo was a deal. 12 bucks for both. On sale now. Noodles were perfectly soft but not too soft. Veggies were cooked perfect.. Still crispy. The tofu soup was great. Husband said looks like seafood is in it. Tofu is fresh. read more

Great atmosphere and food was great too. I order spicy Korean wings and tofu soup. Will visit again.

The food was not as good as I would have expected. It took a long time to come out and did not meet my expectations. I tried their galbi, bulgogi, wings and kimchee soup. There are other restaurants in the Katy area that offer better food, quality and service. read more

enjoyed their happy hour menu. pork with green onions was delicious, sweet chicken was nicely cooked with slight crunch. the only letdown were rice cakes in the tuckpocky, it was overcooked and sauce little too sweet but overall, we had a good time. kudos to the friendly and attentive staff. read more

So we just left this spot right now and I would totally give this place a 5 star but the service was horrrible!!! I'm hoping I just went on a bad day because they seemed extremely short staffed. The young kid working today was so nice and running around like crazy. He apologized numerous times for the delays. Note:it took us over 30minutes just to get water, and then no cups until minutes later. Food was on point tho!!! Totally worth the wait but I was already hangry and moody because I was thirsty and not being acknowledged. Don't go there starving like I did lol! I would totally give this place another try because it was that good but if you are short on patience try another spot. Our actual waitress (young girl with ponytail) was acting very annoyed and rude and barely said a word to us and walked around so slow, basically forcing the young guy to do most of the work. Wish my tip went to him but just wanted to give him some props on here!! He's got hustle! read more

Great place for date night! Food is good and relatively inexpensive with large portions. I wish the karaoke wasn't in private rooms but that's my only complaint. read more

Clean with nice decor and ambiance, came for a quick bite to eat. They have semi hidden seating if you're looking for a bit more privacy than the open seating. Food and drink selection is comprehensive and priced competitively. Nice to have a place like this out in the suburbs. Look forward to checking out the karaoke on another visit. read more

I love the selection of items on the menu! So convenient that they have pictures on all the menus so we know what to expect. Love the atmosphere! read more

Fun hangout place for Korean style snacks and flavored soju. If you're into all things Korean this is your place. But food it just ok.

Great prices for both karaoke and drinks. Friendly service, I will definitely be coming back! Would recommend!

This was a really nice karaoke place. There was a lot of recent songs that everyone could sing too. The employees were very nice helping us figure out how to use the remote and what to do with the machines. Sound was great, nice and loud. Definitely coming here again with all of my friends read more

First time here and it was great. Ordered a little too much bc the food menu looked really awesome!!! Not only looked awesome but tasted awesome aswell. Great trendy atmosphere and the drink menu is up to par. Friendly staff. Will mosdef come back. read more

This place is amazing, wings are great, you can bring your own songs with a flash drive which is great. Yeah, this place slaps.

My first time here and I thought that the food was pretty good. My personal favorite from what we ordered was the 101 pork! I love the vibe and the aesthetics of restaurant, the staff was really welcoming and took care of us. I would recommend coming here with your friends and family for casual outing because they have a great selection of drinks and also a private karaoke room!!! read more

Great amazing area! Big space for dancing and just moving around. Didn't get to try the food but will be returning to try it next time. Super excited to come back to this location. read more

The karaoke room is very large with enough room to dance, seating, and a table for your drinks. The music was great, loudspeaker system great lighting. 10 out of 10 will definitely come back and recommend to friends. read more

BEST PLACE I'VE BEEN TO FOR KARAOKE, even though I live quite far from Katy. It was super cheap compared to the ones in bellaire, and it came with more things like a tambourine and disco lights! We even got free 30 minutes in the room because the next party wasn't coming until 30 minutes after. Because of that I'll still give this place 5 stars, but I just wished the lights would turn completely off (except the disco lights) instead of it turning on and off between each song. Definitely coming here again, it was worth the drive! read more

Serving sizes were much larger than expected! Wait was a bit long but when it came it was well worth it! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! Definitely try the spicy chicken! You will not regret it!! read more

Excellent place for a wide variety of drinks and food. The restaurant is open till 2am (which is pretty late) and they're really nice.
