got a 12oz milkshake that lets you blend two flavors. similar to the small-sized cup that my friend, Dillon, got where you can put in two ice gelato flavors. the chocolate flavor especially surprised me because it was sweet with a twist. A good type of twist. I decided to mix the chocolate and strawberry matcha for the milkshake, which was really good. Pricing was $6.23ish for the small cup, whereas my milkshake was nearing $10. quite expensive, but I guess that is just the typical downtown pricing. I love the little decorations because it makes you feel like you are a kid again. lots of seating because inside a mall. Say at the kiddy table and was surprisingly comfortable lol ! I like that they have an establishment-specific bike to plug in the shop. Thought that was a unique piece from them. Service was good. They do well in describing what to expect with each flavor and did not make me feel bad for asking multiple samples to then make a decision of what to order

Evoo gelato was sooooooo good! Never had this flavor before, so worth it! My daughters had coffee gelato and the chocolate gelato and both had rave reviews. Service was quick and super friendly! The ambiance is hipster chill vibes, love it! Had to pay for parking but for a quarter we got 17minutes.

A fun filled day at the Children's Museum needs to end with ice cream so we headed to Sofie's Gelato for something special. The first one I read was the Black Tea Rose Gelato and I was set. It has the strong taste of black tea but it's subtle and mainly sweet. I am a huge fan! I ordered mine in a cone and it was extra sweet and delicious, you'll definitely want one! My little toddler friend loved her vanilla gelato and sat quietly until it was all gone so we know it must have been really good! The location is small and there are other restaurants in this market yet the aroma of Sofie's Gelato takes over and is so magically sweet. It was closer to closing so there was a spot available for us to sit but I recommend grabbing a quick scoop to go.

    Salty butterscotch over chocolate

Got a salty butterscotch scoop over a chocolate scoop. It was great. Not a lot of seating, but just enough to get a scoop and escape the heat.

Delicious gelato on a Saturday after pizza and the children's museum! Small is definitely enough for a kid or an adult, and our scooper offered to make the scoops a little smaller for the kids cone if desired. A fun stop and no wait! Interesting flavors - we tried chocolate, salty caramel, rhubarb, and mixed berry. Sampled fennel! Loved the stop and the shop is cute!

Pretty good gelato. Super cute setup. I love the decor and merch you can buy. The server wasnt very friendly. My mom is a big gelato fan so we get it as much as we can. Not the best gelato out there, but good. Still better than ice cream. The mango tajin was a fun flavor. I loved the mango, not a big fan of the tajin so i ended up getting the lemon. It was pretty good, but i wanted it to be more sour. It was a little sweeter than i like my lemon things.

    Delicious gelato & friendly service!

If you are craving some luscious, creamy gelato, this is your place to go! They are a cute little shop inside 222 Market (don't waste your time looking for their storefront - just head inside and you'll find it. They offer a nice selection of house-made, small-batch gelato in some very tasty flavors. I had the coffee stracciatella and salted butterscotch- both were divine. Hubby had the chocolate almond and cinnamon - also delish and they tasted great together. We ordered the medium cups and they were sweetly satisfying. Service was quick and friendly. I haven't found gelato many places in the area, but this one is worth a visit - or a re-visit!

It was about 105 degrees outside and this ice cream store came to the rescue. We had just finished our play time at the children's museum nearby. Everything and every place was closed due to the heat. What is a mom to do. Ice cream for lunch for sure. Lots of delicious flavors. We decided on pineapple, vanilla (it's called churned cream or something fancy), and strawberry. Creamy, delightful, and fresh. Line was literally wrapped around the building, there was ac inside but not strong enough for a day like that but you can only imagine how hot it was with the heat! My son approved and the only thing that sucks right now due to covid is that you're not allowed to sit and enjoy it there. No problem, we took it over to the nice hallway near the taco stand inside. I will definitely take my family here again to support a small business.

    Olympia Fog and Salted Butterscotch
    Valerie Y.

My friends and I came to Olympia for a quick day trip and we were recommended Sofie's Scoops by so many people and websites! Sofie's Scoops is located inside a market, so there are some other shops nearby as well. Even though we came on a rainy day, the line was still long, which means the gelato fits any type of weather. I decided to get the Olympia Fog and the Salted Butterscotch as a split scoop - note that they do the two scoops side by side rather than top and bottom, which is great since this way the flavors don't mingle too much. I didn't realize we could also get samples, but the cashier was gracious enough to let me try a sample even after I ordered. The service is quick, the shop is very cute, I would definitely come here again for a quick snack if I were back in town.

We stopped here after a quick hike in the area. They have unique flavors that don't disappoint. There was a line at 3:00 in the afternoon!

Taste testing is fun for the new flavors. I had two taste tests that made me change my regular, which is 2 scoop sundae with 2 of the coconut ice cream, vegan with hot fudge and PB sauce (you get two toppings with sundaes). But, the taste test won the trophy for excellence today. I forgot to photograph the sundae and the staff glady made samples to photograph. So, the photo with 2 spoons; left Apple Crisp, right is Sweet Potato ice creams. So the sundae was Sweet Potato on bottom, Apple Crisp on top with Bumble Berry (whatever berries they can source) sauce and peanuts on as my 2 toppings. The Apple Crisp was full of a crisp's goodness in the topping. Balanced with the creamy ice cream that didn't overpower the crisp feel. With toppings mostly eaten here on this top scoop-- would make an excellent one scoop sundae. But, then came the Sweet Potato. Note I really don't like Sweet Potato Casserole at Thanksgiving with the candied tubers in syrup. They're already sweet, just put mine in foil and toss on the oven somewhere you need space between things. Butter and salt and pepper. Today was different, creamy homemade light ice cream with sweet potato barely folded in so you can see the layers on your spoon, then comes nuts and mini marshmallows- just melt in your mouth good. I want this at my Thanksgiving party this year! Go to Sweetlee's, they make it all, I've included the menu. Two locations. I usually am near West Olympia so frequent there. Best friendly staff, clean, plenty of little tables to eat there. Pints and quarts to go. Homemade. What more do you need, but a bamboo spoon? Enjoy PS There is a single Pic of their Salty Caramel ice cream. Too salty for me, gentleman told me it was better inside of a Brownie Hot Fudge Sundae. I think I'd slip in coconut, cuz it tastes like supper not dessert. It's very popular, but taste test all your choices first anyways!

On another visit (with my 5yr old) it took them almost 50min to bring out her Italian soda. We basically took it to go at that point. I also feel like prices have gone up a lot. The average piece is around $50 or you can paint a ceramic animal for closer to $20. Overall I know I'll be back because the employees are great and getting to paint your own pottery is fun, but I wish the building/food experience was better! When it's busy, the place can get awfully squishy so I'd recommend making a reservation during weekends and holiday seasons. They also have coffee and ice cream. Regardless of the season, they still push out the finished projects in the same time so we were there on a Sunday, our items were ready for pick up the next Monday. Once your seat is reserved, you walk in and pick your items to paint and a helper will bring it to your table. The paints are on the table and you need to find the number that matches the sample pallet, which is very helpful because it shows you what the paint will look like afterwards. You can write the numbers on the paper on your table to help remember what colors you're using as a helpful tip. There's many sizes of brushes and paint pens. Afterwards add your name on the bottom and take a picture of your work, that's how you claim it.
