It was a pleasure working with JJ and Marcos at Albuquerque Tile and Stone. They installed Granite…read morecountertops for our kitchen remodel. Their price was second to the lowest of three bids, but I felt more confident working with them than the lowest bidder because JJ was receptive, had a website and office, and was a good communicator responding to text messages and phone calls even after 7 pm. Which brings us to the 5th star. This is my first attempt at building cabinets and remodeling the kitchen so I had very little experience and needed someone who could convince me that they really envisioned what I wanted. JJ went to Arizona tile with me to pick out my slab and was very patient while I waffled between two nearly identical pieces. They were extra accommodating in meeting our Thanksgiving deadline when I barely got the cabinets built the day before. They made sure they were ready to go as soon as I was. Marcos has a very efficient turnaround time, next day, sometimes same day as templating. The install went very smoothly. The countertops have held up a turkey and four martinis and nothing has crashed through the floor into the basement yet. The cut was perfect and well polished. I had some extra trim and asked for an add-on window sill. They just tacked on a couple hours of labor and didn't try to gouge me on the price. I was pleasantly surprised. They do accept credit cards but pass the fees on to the buyer so cash is cheaper.

We hired Full Measure to remodel our kitchen for us. He also was available for whatever questions we had throughout the entire process. Jack, the owner, personally came to double check all of the measurements that were taken. We had Matt and Brad do the work on our kitchen for us. They were quiet, friendly, and did impeccable work. They even let our extremely interested two year old get a close up look Only took 2 weeks to get everything together. Everything was very fast and efficient.

Builders Supply sent the details and dimensions of all the appliances to Full Measure at that time so Full Measure knew that my wall oven would not be at eye-level two months before they started demo. They never advised me. - The crew doing the work had only done one bathroom for Full Measure; this was their first kitchen job - The crew supervisors came the first two days of demo, and two other times over the whole demo/installation period. They never came at crucial stages of installation. - The oven cabinet was damaged in transport, but the crew installed it anyway. One supervisor said it would be dealt with at the end of the project and told the crew to install it. I said I wouldn't accept it so they ordered another one. - When the stone company came to do the templates for the countertops one cabinet and the island were not installed properly. Again, the supervisor asked me to accept the issue, which I wouldn't. - The second oven cabinet arrived. When it was installed the supervisors said they could raise the position of the wall oven 6", which would still place it at waist level. They said the company could not supply a cabinet to place my oven where I wanted it and where it should be. I said I couldn't accept it, and was told I would have to have a custom cabinet built on my own. - They never came to do a final inspection and discuss payment, but instead threatened me with two letters stating they would make a lien against my property if I didn't pay the last full installment. - I paid the full amount, even through the ovens hadn't been installed. - The new custom cabinet I paid for was installed mid-July. - When Builders Source came to install the ovens they discovered the electric connection was wrong. The crew had put a plug in the wall, but the ovens were hard-wired. Full Measure would not do anything about it so I had to pay an electrician to do it. - The stone company came to install the last piece. I asked the owner to have the technician look at the sinks (which I had bought from the stone company) because water was collecting around the drains. The technician said the gaskets had been installed incorrectly by Full Measure. The owner said he would contact Full Measure to see if they would change the gaskets, but nothing has been done. Again, I will now have to pay a plumber to do the job. - The drawers on the island have never closed properly. -

We were promised the install would be completed by Christmas. We were skeptical but hopeful and since we chose not to decorate our home this year for the holidays we agreed to move forward with the installation. The 2 - 4 man crew were here daily and worked very hard to remove the old tile and carpet. Once all the old product was removed, the install was quick. The installation was completed as promised, two days before Christmas (10 day total project). The final result is amazing and beautiful. I am usually very handy around the house and consider myself quite the perfectionist however I have never taken on a project of this magnitude and I'm glad I chose not to. These guys really knew what they were doing and did a wonderful job. If you want the job done right, rely on professionals. Thank you Floorscapes. Great job!

"Joseline" our sales person went above and beyond doing a super job for us. I am a retired general contractor and I know about many of the issues that can come up with these types of jobs - all the issues were handled in a professional manner by Joseline. She personally delivered tile in her personal car when a time deadline was near - amazing. The crews for the installation of the carpet and wood flooring were great (I used a friend for the tile installation.) They had to move furniture and had to deal with clutter - no damages and no complaints - all were friendly and professional - great job by all. We would recommend Floorscapes to anyone needing flooring. Super experience with them.

She gathers every different tile for all of your design ideas and offers great advice. Isabel has a great eye for design and even hand draws pictures of what your spaces will look like with the tiles you select for your project. Again both ladies have great attitudes and a welcoming presence. As far as quality and choices on granite and quartz I was very satisfied. Being able to see the piece you are buying and help decide on where to do the cuts is great. Using a local fabricator helps prevent a lot of headaches. I ended up paying only a few hundred dollars more than Lowe's or Home Depot but got the personalization I wanted and didn't have to wait for product. Lowe's was two weeks I believe and Home Depot was three weeks for delivery. When it came time to do my bathroom remodel I again went with AZ tile and I'm so grateful I did. I purchased 10% extra for my project but ended up going with a design that wasted far more than anticipated. When I called to see if they had any of my special order style in stock they said they didn't and it would be a week, which would be pretty unfortunate and costly. Luckily Darren checked and managed to put together a box of their samples of the tiles I ordered and with the discount I received on my initial purchase. Really saved the day for my contractor and myself. Thank you! Thanks to AZ tile I have had no issues with quality, orders/reorders, and received a great price on everything. So glad I didn't go with the "cheaper" options.

The countertop material is in a warehouse sized area. Quartz, granite and marble slabs are there. You can select the exact piece desired. Shoppers can select up to 5 samples to take home and decide whether or not it matches what they need. We chose a piece that met our needs. My biggest complaint? When I asked the price range of the marble selected. Huh? I was told that I'd have to ask the contractor. What if I didn't have a contractor? If they'd have been straight forward and transparent I would have chosen something at the upper end of my budget. I guess the upside is I will have some extra $$$ on my pocket.
