I will more than likely call soon for filters but I am worried about what type of customer service I will receive. I will update more later.

Received an "Important Notice" in the mail that we needed to contact them about our water. Obvious scam intended to trick people.

Mike came out to our home, assessed our needs and tailored the information to what we were interested in knowing about the system. He presented us with a few different options that would work for our needs and explained the pros and cons of each and was transparent with not only the upfront cost of the system but also with the maintenance costs in the years after. The installation went well. It took a few hours during which both Mike and the gentleman accompanying him communicated what was happening. I was equally impressed with the quality of the installation and how tidy they left the area. You would have never known the installation happened that day. There's nothing I dislike more than cleaning up debris after someone repairs something. It is evident that Mike truly cares about his customers and about the quality of his work and product. If you want to work with a company who is honest, is attuned to your needs, and is willing to go above and beyond then give Micropure a call.

We were concerned about the quality of the water in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, before we ever moved…read morehere, but we didn't know what to do about it, other than install a water softener. The house we purchased had a functioning water softener, so we just continued to reply on it and tried not to think about the quality of the water we were putting into our bodies. The house water softener was old, and eventually completely ceased to function, so we began contacting plumbers to discuss modern water softeners and get a bid on replacement of our broken one. Each person we contacted gave us similar bids and explained how a modern softener works. However, when I asked about installing a system that would also remove the arsenic in the drinking water, each one said he would "check into it and get back" to us--which never happened. We made follow up calls to ask for more information, and were again told we would receive a call back--but we never did. At that point, I consulted Yelp and discovered outstanding reviews of Micro Pure and Mike Duran, the owner. The reviews were almost unbelievably good, and I called immediately. Despite the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, I was given an appointment in about two weeks and promised that if any spot opened up before my assigned appointment, we would be called. We were lucky and Mike had a spot for us several days early. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Mike answered every question we asked thoroughly and explained the system. Then, it was time for me to ask the last question: "What about removing the arsenic in the water?" Immediately, Mike explained what had to be done to remove arsenic and showed us pictures of the system it would take to do it. He also showed us independent test results on that system certifying the removal of the arsenic and pointed out that it isn't easy to do and how much it mattered that the test results were independently done. We were sold: Micro Pure had the system we were looking for and it was clear Mike knew how to install it and was a man who would do what he said he would do--something we had not found in our consultations with other companies. We said we were impressed and wanted to know what would have to be done to get the system installed. Mike gave us a date less than a week away for the work to be completed and then said he wanted to inspect our current plumbing so he could see what would actually need to be done to have a system functioning as it should be: he inspected our plumbing coming into the house, the plumbing to the hot water heater, the plumbing to the refrigerator, and the plumbing under the sink. Then he gave us a price for the complete installation. When he came to install the system, he was actually early and finished in less time than he had told us it might take. For our system, it was necessary to drill through the kitchen granite, and he did a perfect job. He installed everything himself, cleaned up everything, and left us with directions for checking the system to make sure it wasn't leaking before we went to bed and again first thing in the morning so that we could call him immediately if any problem had developed. He didn't expect us to have a problem, and we didn't, but he left us with a plan of action if any problem did occur. I honestly can't think of anything that could possibly have gone better or any person who could be nicer and more professional to deal with. If you want a truly excellent water purification system and a flawless installation, call Mike Duran at Micro Pure.

I wanted to put a softener in the garage so I could maintain it. I called Culligan got a quote and then got the call that they will not run plumbing through the attic. I called to cancel my monthly service and specifically asked to have the plumbing they installed removed because I knew the bypass valve was old and had not closed or opened completely in a while and I knew it would leak when the tank was removed permanently. I called to confirm the tank removal for July 15, 2025 and to confirm the removal of the plumbing they installed. Then I was told it would cost $250 to remove what they had installed. The tank was removed on July 15th and the bypass valve started leaking quite fast immediately. It leaked for 2 days until the new system was installed. I spent over $5000 over the 11 years to have them change the tank monthly and they couldn't even remove a bad valve after removing the tank. I would NOT recommend them to install anything because they would not fix the problem they created.

We signed up for a promotion where you don't need to make any payments or interest for 12 months. After that you need to pay it off or pay an insane amount of interest. So we are ok with that as we planned to pay it off in a few months. So 30 days in we received a monthly bill with interest from a company they sold the contract to. When we called them and talked to the owner he said just do not pay attention to the bills. He would fix it. Then the second bill came with interest. No call back from the owner this time. It appears to be some kind of scam. Now that said we signed up for their maintenance contract which includes filter and salt maintenance. The salt ran out and no one has come. I called them and they set up an appointment to do the salt. He never showed. I called their office and they apologized and said he got hung up on another job but he would come right after he finished. He never came and now it has been over a week and now one has showed up or called to reschedule. I just got off the phone and have another schedule for tomorrow. I would highly recommend that if you are interested in water filtration and or softening do not use this company.
