The process was professional from start to finish, with great punctuality, honesty, and transparency. Albuquerque city water is generally okay, but it does contain noticeable levels of chlorine and calcium which can lead to a weird taste and a different feel (not acceptable IMO). Since installation, our water has improved dramatically. My family is now enjoying softer, cleaner, and overall better-tasting water. I refuse to drink any other water that isn't from my house. That alone made the upgrade well worth it. The value for the service and system provided was next to none. It's a great investment for your home and family's health. Mike and Veronica were my main points of contact, and both were outstanding. Mike is an upstanding gentleman--very kind, informative, and patient. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with the system and how it works. He also did a very clean install! Veronica handled scheduling and coordination and was extremely responsive, providing multiple date and time options to fit my schedule. I highly recommend Micropure for anyone considering water treatment solutions. Mike and his team will be sure to provide you with multiple options for your needs, great service, great value, and top-tier hospitality!

We asked around and were recommended MicroPure by multiple people--including our home builder and our contractor--and we're so glad we took their advice. We chose MicroPure for our new home and couldn't be happier with our decision. We purchased the Puronics Hydronex i-Gen Chlorostatic Softening & Filtration System along with the Micromax 8500 Reverse Osmosis System, complete with a custom faucet, leak sensor, and silicone spill mat. When we first reached out for a quote, we had no idea how generous Michael would be with his time. He was incredibly patient, answered every one of our questions, and never made us feel rushed. We were originally considering installing a DIY water softener and filtration system, but after learning more about MicroPure's products, pricing, and the exceptional customer service that comes with the system, we realized it was well worth the investment. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to help us understand our options so we could make the best decision for our home. Our installation was completed by licensed master plumber Darrin Putman, whose attention to detail and craftsmanship were outstanding. Everything was installed professionally, neatly, and with great care. As first-time homeowners, investing in water quality was an important decision, and we truly feel we made the right choice. We know this is an investment we'll appreciate for years to come. We highly recommend Michael, Darrin, and the entire MicroPure team!

JP Plumbery did the HVAC work on my parents new build a few years back so we were referred to them…read morewhen our heater started giving us issues this winter. Our heater was 20+ years old and we've been wanting to switch from a swamp cooler to refrigerated air for some time now. We decided to pull the trigger and did a full replacement of both units. They were extremely competitive when it came to pricing, another company was going to be significantly more expensive when we were just looking at the heater repair/replacement. Cody and Dylan were the two service techs that replaced the units and were great to work with. The first day they arrived they were very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect over the coming days. I didn't feel the need to check in with them because they would check in with me when they arrived every day and throughout so they could update me on the progress they were making. With the change in weather I've used both the AC and heating unit in the last couple of weeks and both are working great! I would recommend JP Plumbery to anyone in need of their services! Joe

This is about work done by JP Plumery in October 2024 (before their partnership with Signature…read moreHeating and Cooling). I had them install a new Carrier heat pump ($18K+) to replace a broken evaporative cooler/ancient furnace. The furnace was located in a second-floor closet, so that's where they installed the air handler (and coil), both installed vertically. Unbeknownst to me, a city permit was required for this work, which was NOT obtained by JP Plumery. Had a permit been obtained along with the city inspection, NONE of these problems would have occurred. 1. They did not correct the air intake to handle a 4-ton heat pump (which they oversized - my house is only 1800 sq ft). They claimed a 20"x20" intake was completely fine for this system. Nope. It required a minimum of 1680 cfm air flow; a 20"x20" only provided 840 CFM. 2. The condensate drain they installed was completely incorrect - it had a long horizontal pipe immediately after the handler drain instead of a 5" long P trap to prevent the negative pressure from the air handler from sucking condensate back into the air handler (see photo with accompanying condensate inside the air handler). 3. The air handler was not installed 'square' onto the ductwork supplying the house (see photo). 4. They did not install an automatic shut-off required by city code to turn the unit off if the condensate pump pan overflowed and water backed up into the air handler. This caused flooding in the second-floor closet that leaked into the first-floor ceiling. Once this leak occurred in late July 2026 (and it had been going on for a while, just not noticed because it hadn't leaked through the ceiling yet), I called JP only to be connected to Signature Heating and Cooling. The air handler was full of water. The tech diagnosed inadequate air intake or a potential refrigerant leak causing the problem (the air was plenty cold coming out of the registers). When I asked why JP did not install the correct air intake, all I got was crickets. So I contacted the BBB and all of a sudden, they want to come out and 'take another look.' Same tech came out and denied that inadequate air intake was the problem and instead added more refrigerant, which made the condensation worse. For both of these visits, I was not given any objective measurements or photos taken by them. So I had two other HVAC companies come out to see what was going on. Both diagnosed the problem as an inadequate air intake and an improperly installed condensate drain with no automatic shut-off. I had both problems corrected and, what do you know, the problem was solved. All this during our 100-degree heat in August 2026. I went back to Signature Heating and Cooling/JP Plumery for reimbursement for the work I had to have done to correct their mistakes. All they have done is deny deny deny and will not take accountability for their mistakes. Now I have to have the city come out (at my additional expense) to retroactively issue a permit. The BBB was absolutely no help, so I've contacted the CID for New Mexico and will write reviews where-ever I can to warn you all about these merged companies. DO NOT do business with them. See my other reviews for who I recommend. JP can reply to this all he wants, but he knows what was done. It's funny, all they had to do was reimburse me $2500. Now I have a file a claim in court.

I chose to deal only with companies who would provide a free estimate. I arranged for an estimate from Western Mechanical and was told nothing about a fee, or I wouldn't have had them come out. It took over a week to get an appointment. Then on the appointed day, the tech called looking for my location in Rio Rancho where he was sent by their dispatch, even though my building is in downtown Albuquerque. It was another week before they rescheduled at the correct location, and when they did, instead of the requested estimate the tech did a hasty unauthorized repair on my unit and charged me $198.49. Since no fees or repairs were authorized, I made multiple calls to Western to question the charge but could not get past the receptionist to talk to anyone and was put on endless holds. Only after receiving a threat to be sent to collections, was I finally able to speak to accounts payable. They claimed they had informed me of the fee in advance, which is completely untrue as I would not have agreed to it, and were unwilling to budge on the charge which I never authorized. If you choose to work with Western Mechanical, beware of hidden fees and be sure to get all costs in writing up front.
