To wit, they advised/sold me stabilizer as well as dichro (which is already stabilized) which caused my cya to shoot up so much that I had to drain and refill my 1800 gallon spa to clear it. read more

I've been a customer of Leslie's for many years, but no longer. I needed a new net for skimming my pool, but realized when I got home that while it was a net, it wasn't deep enough skim the pool. I took it back to exchange it, and I was rather rudely told that they didn't accept returns on sports equipment!? I explained that I had just purchased it a couple hours previously and it had never been used. They took it and I purchased the correct item. When I got my credit card bill, I saw that I was charged for both items and had not received credit for the return. It was only about $22, but I won't accept being treated that way, and Leslie's has lost my business. read more

Replace Bob. EVERYTIME we go into the Wyoming N.E., Albuquerque, NM location and he is working, we think "we gotta get supplies somewhere else!" Our family has been customer's of this location for more than 25 years; previous Manager's were fantastic! Unsure how many years Bob has been employed by Leslie's; he may be a franchise owner but more likely a local Corporate Manager. Every time we visit the store (usually for a water test or purchase items needed immediately) Bob is RUDE and when called on his behavior.... his reply is 'it's just my sense of humor'. I've pushed back adding 'you're not funny, thinking Bob would rethink his style of customer service. After several years; no improvement. Bob seems very secure & empowered. I recommend buying Leslie's on-line, drive further to another local Leslie's or one of the other local pool shops. I had been a customer for over 20 years. The manager Bob changed that. Shopping for vacuum head options, I tried to ask a question. Stooped under the counter, he must have said one minute, but I didn't hear him. I continued to ask my question and he stood up from behind the counter and stayed"I said one minute! You don't talk to a customer that way if you want to keep customers! I left FOR GOOD and went to local Matt's Pools. The guy was knowledgeable and guided me, plus saved me money. A regional manager from Leslie's called, left a message and hasn't returned my subsequent calls. In today's competition for clientele Leslie's failed. This has been the worst experience I have ever received from a Leslies store. I ordered an entire above ground pool kit off Leslies website. After not even 2 months the pump stopped working. So I took it to the Leslies store on Wyoming Blvd in Albuquerque NM. The associate that was working that day said that the person that does the repairs is not in today and that I would need to drop off the pump. I thought no problem and did just that. The following day I wanted to get in contact with the person that would be working on the pump to see about a timeframe for when the pump could be looked at and possibly repaired. So I went back to the store and was greeted by BOB. I tried to explain what was happening with the pump, granted I don't know anything about the pump so I was not describing what was wrong correctly. BOB was very rude and hateful in his responses. He told me I had it all wrong and didn't have the pump installed correctly. His attitude kept getting more aggressive and rude. I called my neighbor who understood what was happening with the pump and asked if he could come and explain what is wrong with the pump. My neighbor arrived at the store and was also greeted by BOB. My neighbor said hello and explained he was there to help explain what was happening with the pump. After he explained what was going on with the pump, BOB was very rude and said I have 6 other machines that are in front of you and I will need to repair them before I can even look at yours, just because you come into the store doesn't mean I will work on yours first. I said I completely understand there are ones in front of mine and I don't expect mine to be done right now since I am in the store. I just wanted a time frame since the pump hadn't been working for almost a week at this point. I asked him if any other store was able to look and possibly repair the pump. He said very rudely that any Leslie could look at the device however it would be done on a first come first serve basis. I said I am fully aware, and then decided to call the other locations and see what their turnaround time was for repairs. I spoke with a different location and he informed me that since the pump was purchased as a kit from the website I would need to call customer service and have them handle the claim. Since this was the case why did BOB not say anything to us about this since he knew it was brought as a fill kit? I said thank you and he said it would be about a week turnaround if he did it in store. So I asked BOB would it be possible that since the pump wasn't even 2 months old that I could get an exchange for a new one. That is when BOB said if something goes wrong with your car do they just give you a brand new one? Then said to me ask a stupid question get a stupid answer. At this point I was fuming and decided that I would rather take my pump to a different location than deal with this very Rude hateful man. I grab the pump and asked if there was anything I needed to sign he said no why would there be. So I left the store, and put the pump in my car. I decided to go ahead and call customer service and see what they had to say about the pump. While I was sitting at a table at a store next door to Leslie's, BOB came up to me and said he called the other stores and they have not heard from anyone regarding a pump and that it would be a while to even look at the pump since they had other repairs that needed to be done. I said I am not sure why you felt you needed to leave your store and come rudely tell me that the other locations were not able to help me. I said thank you but I am on the phone with customer service and will be letting them handle it all now. He then said I went out of my way to help you and was going to make sure you didn't waste time driving to other locations, I said thank you but that is not why you came out here and I would appreciate that you leave us alone now since you have been rude this entire time. BOB started to yell at me that he went out of his way to help me, my neighbor who had been there this entire time said to BOB. You sir have no business talking to customers that way you have talked to me and her today. My neighbor said he would appreciate it if BOB could leaves us alone and not be so hateful and rude when all we did was ask for a timeframe to get the pump back. BOB finally left but not before he made more rude comments. I will never be back to this store again. BOB IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL WITH THE WAY HE TREATS AND SPEAKS TO CUSTOMERS. read more

these tests were done same day 1 he apart b4 cleaning and skimming the pool. My only suggestion I'd say is if you know your pool and you don't trust the #'s go to another location and re-test don't just drop loads of your cash out of blind trust I've discovered the Holly location has been the most consistent and helpful. read more

The young kid, think the owners son, is rude like his father yet there's no problem taking your money. I hate even spending at this store bc of the service .
