Overall I would definitely recommend them. They honor the corporate discounts, they're honest,…read morefast, friendly and don't try to get you to pay for anything you don't need. Lately I've been in Cookeville where the Express here does not honor coupons, charge more and won't top off other fluids without charging you more. I didn't even bother asking if they tip off the oil for free between oil changes as they seem to charge for everything. Now my brake pads are needing repair and I called a few places around town, outside of prices being rather high, almost as much as I paid for rotors, they all seem to want to add on things. Even though it will be a trip to go to Hixson, I'd rather spend the gas on the drive knowing I won't get overcharged and they will do the job right the first time.

For the past 4 years I have been taking my truck to the Hixson/Northgate location. I save all my…read morereceipts and noticed that everyone of them had a different price, ranging from $38 to $86. On several there was a $1 charge per can of oil for "Preferred" oil. I told manager I've never asked for any specific kind of oiled except last visit. He informed me that during the time I was being charged an extra $1 per can of oil was when they were carrying only one kind of oil. Me: so if I didn't have a choice of different kinds of oil, how could I have a "preference? He offered no solution. I asked him for some type of refund for all the money I over paid and he said,I'll give you $20 off, then walked off. No apology or regret! My Last Time!

They immediately jumped in to stay and help. Within 30 minutes, they had identified the leak, patched it, and had us on our way back to our hotel. The guys there were friendly and efficient, and price was very reasonable. So lucky to have driven past in our moment of need!

I have been taking our family vehicles to this business for the last 2 or 3 years. They have always…read moredone an adequate job of chaning the oil, which is the business they are in. I don't price shop very much but I'm certain I could probably find somewhere cheaper, but I'm paying for convenience more than anything, they're not far from my house, so they are a no-brain choice. Having said that, I will never take my vehicle to them again. Every time I've patronized their business they present me with the little credit card terminal to pay for the service and it is on a screen asking how much of a tip I want to leave. The choices are 15%, 20%, 25%, Custom and none. I resent the pressure to give a tip for a service like this. (BTW, you don't get the pressure if you say you're going to pay cash.) It's not like I'm tipping a waitress at Cracker Barrel who works primarily for tips. I'm expected to leave a tip for a business who provided adequate service for their primary function? Never again.
