I spent $400 to almost lose my life…read more Called ahead of time to see if they had availability to fix my brakes since I was attempting to have this done before going to pick up my daughter from school. they did have time and although $400 was a bit more than I would've expected for replacing the front rotors and brake pads. I had no issues since the was being done by a professional. So I pay my car comes out and the first thing I is that there is quite literally a bucket load of brake fluid pouring down behind my driver side tire. Before even getting into my vehicle, I got the attention of the guy at the desk who was still outside to show him and ask why it was that wet, it was very concerning to me, but his reply was "it is totally fine. " in route to go pick up my daughter no later than 10 minutes after I left i lose brakes .... Luckily, no one was in front of me and I had enough time to come to a complete stop. I opened the hood to take a look and see if I can see anything and what do you know all of the brake fluid was gone from the reservoir and the cap that was forgotten to put back on was sitting next to my fuse box on the side of the engine compartment. Despite the poor quality of the service and the danger of a situation that it was, at least I had not picked up my daughter yet and I was able to walk to the nearest autozone, get brake fluid and take care of the issue.

I started taking my vehicle to Meineke in December 2024 under warranty for two bad window motors…read moreand a clicking noise from the dashboard. They replaced an actuator, but things have only gotten worse since. The original issues still aren't fixed, and now the A/C won't switch from the floor vents--I have no defrost and no air from the center vents, which makes the truck unsafe to drive. I've dropped my truck off over 15 times, including leaving it for a full week, and now they're saying it's something new. On top of that, I just found out they lost the hardware that holds the center console down. Seriously? The staff constantly changes, and everyone claims they've "only been there two weeks." No one knows what's going on. It's been 5 months, and they still can't fix my vehicle. This place is full of incompetence, excuses, and flat-out lies. I'm reporting this to corporate and the Better Business Bureau. I will never return and strongly warn others to stay away from this location.

Review for Meineke Car Care - Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN…read more I have had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this Meineke location. Over the course of several visits for repairs, I've noticed parts mysteriously going missing from my vehicle, including my engine cover (with Honda branding) and my rear windshield wiper blade. These are not minor oversights--they show a lack of attention and care. One of the most concerning issues was a broken mirror, which I noticed before I even left the lot. It took three weeks just to process a claim and get a replacement. That kind of delay is unacceptable for something that was clearly damaged under their care. I'm currently dealing with an oil leak that has been "fixed" three times already, and now I'm waiting to hear back--again--about the valve cover gaskets and service availability. It's been four weeks with no concrete answer. Meanwhile, the ongoing leak has caused even more damage: I've had to replace my alternator twice and now the belt is beginning to squeak. This is the result of poor, incomplete service. I wanted to have the warranty work done at a different Meineke location due to lack of trust in this one, but was told it must be done at the same location to be covered. That policy only adds to the frustration. With the high employee turnover, there is zero consistency in communication or workmanship, and I've lost all confidence that they are capable--or willing--to properly resolve the issue. I've been calling twice a week and stopping by in person, only to be met with delays and excuses. It really feels like they are just stalling until the warranty runs out. At this point, if I don't get a resolution soon from either the store or Meineke corporate, I will be forced to report them to the Better Business Bureau and consider filing a police report for small claims court. There is no excuse for this kind of service. I strongly do not recommend this location.

Expect to spend five hours of your day being handed off from one salesmen to another, unless you…read moreare willing to pay full price. By the time you close, you will be invested in the purchase and unlikely to walk away. The issues we faced: A front wheel drive vehicle was represented as an all wheel drive vehicle. After an offer was accepted by the dealer on an all wheel drive vehicle, I checked the vehicle and informed the dealer of the issue. I offered to lessen the sales price by $300 (a $1,000 mistake by the dealer) for the difference and it was accepted. At closing, the dealership wanted to add their processing fee of $599.50. Many states have caps on the fees at $100-$200. I had negotiated the previous sale's price and processing fee down and it had been accepted, yet they were adding that to the sale's price. At issue may have been my original offer with the salesman and his communication with the sales manager. To get the deal done, I negotiated a warranty on tire and wheel repairs and it was accepted, though my purchase price suffered as a result. By the way, the dealership told me that the state requires all customers of a dealership to pay the same processing fee. I haven't found any info on it on the internet. I failed to catch another add-on (about $80) due to being worn down by the process. The state allows a dealer to add a business tax on to consumers.. This is a tax with a base amount, but is determined by your gross sales, I believe. The dealer is allowed to pass it on to buyers, though other businesses pay their fair share. So why am I writing this review. We all know auto dealers hold the cards. Even after the gauntlet that we went through, I called and left a message concerning clarification on the business tax and an overcharge on state taxes. No response. Though I handled myself in a cordial, professional manner throughout, the dealership appears interested in only doing the deal , not in responding to questions (perhaps issues) after the sale. Our purchase did not include a trade-in and should have been a quick and easy process. Be willing to walk or be had.
