They don't generally eat mustard-based BBQ sauce in TX, so that is definitely not a TX thing. They say their food is based on TX BBQ traditions. I don't think they know what really good TX BBQ tastes like. We used to have a fast food chain in TX called Bill Millers; their food was WAY superior to what I ate from this restaurant. Sorry, I hate to be mean, I usually leave good reviews. But this food left me no choice. Suggestion to the restaurant: You need to use more smoke-rendering wood (such as hickory or mesquite) in your fire/coals; you need to BBQ the meat a lot SLOWER and a lot LONGER. Still, I likely won't be back without noise cancelling earbuds and more patience though. I remain incensed with ziosks in general but even more so when I feel intentionally SCAMMED.
