Had a get 1 free drink offer from an online promotion so decided to go for soda box on a hot afternoon. Surprisingly they do not have an app that i could use to order. But going in the store they had a very nice and photogenic insta wall where we can take pictures. The concept is basically to jazz up any of the soda fountain drinks with any toppings you like. I got the beachy bear with lemonade and without the whipped cream. It was super refreshing and fresh and loved it! The servers were knowledgeable and helped me understand what exactly the offerings were. Definitely a unique try! read more

Sodabox is a neat concept. I do not drink soda often but if I do it is either a Sprite or Coca-Cola. I liked that they had an XS size option available so I could try two. I chose the pretty & pink and red pill both with sprite. My favorite was the pretty & pink. They have some interesting mixes or you can make a custom mix, if you like soda then check this spot out. read more

I have been hearing about loaded soda all over social media and was excited to see one in our area. I love to add cream to my soda but this store takes it up another level. I will be back. Customer service was great, friendly staff BUT I did not like the drink I ordered. I got the razzmatazz and pretzel bites. Pretzel bites were gross and tasted processed and fake. The drink was not mixed well, the cream was separating from the soda and the taste, not good at all. I asked what was the most popular drinks prior to ordering and was told razzmatazz was one of the most popular. I don't see how, we ended up drinking both and wasted $9 read more

Firstly I should let you know that my opinion is that of matured man. That being said, I found SodaBox to be a tribute to the old days when soda shoppes were relevant and the place you went to when you wanted a really good pop. This little shoppe, which also offers drive through service, is exactly where you would go for specialized soda drink, there are many different flavors of pop, many, many, fruits, creams, and juices to create a pop flavored to your liking. A bit of a weird location but amazing spot. The interior is clean and quite fun with great decor, a couple spots set up for your group photos or selfies, and a nice bar to sit at the front with friends. The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations, and each flavor we tried was distinct yet equally tasty. Our favorites though were the dirty orange dream, NC state of mind, and the island hoppin. The cookies were also quite tasty and a great compliment to the sodas. All of this was also at a great price. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning in the future! read more

We LOVE Sodabox!! So happy they have a storefront now and they do drive-through orders at the window! I love the "Dirty Dad Bod". One time I ordered a large and they gave me an extra large upgrade for free because they ran out of large cups. I'll take that! read more

If you have never tried Swig you might think it's ok! Drinks didn't have enough flavor added! My dirty lime in coconut with Coke Zero tasted like regular Coke Zero with a hint of lime. Other drinks were the same, not impressed at all. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I've tried 6 drinks on the menu, and thrown each of them out after two sips. Their corporate employees are arrogant, rude, and have very poor values. DO NOT come here- you can pour your own apple juice into your Mountain Dew at home. read more

I love this concept. What I don't love is after visiting four times and getting the exact same order all four times, I have now paid differently three of the times. Yesterday was not great, my drink is the diet coke with vanilla and coconut pumps. Yesterday was diet coke and mango puree big bummer. The last three times the drinks cups were labeled, not this time. Maybe that was it. Totally could look past that, but not the inconsistency of the pricing. Everyone is very friendly. read more

My husband enjoyed his "Thirst Trap" energy drink but it was nothing life-changing. I wish they had more indicators if the sodas had diet options, and I know this is niche but I wish they had more decaffeinated options (like I love root beer but don't want Barqs at 3pm). The staffer handed us our drinks and said "see you tomorrow!" which was cute. But as we live in Durham, we likely won't be back soon.

The location isn't too far off the highway, so we were able to stop in during a short road trip. Would definitely return for a fun pick-me-up. The juices and matcha taste great and I support their emphasis on non-alcoholic beverages. On the downside, the portion size is surprisingly small and it's pricy. With the focus on grab and go items and the limited parking in downtown Cary, the business model seems like it would be a better fit adjacent to a hotel or gym. This set-up has potential and I look forward to returning when I'm walking through downtown Cary.
