Ordered online but had to make a cancellation because I was no longer to have access to the address provided. I reached out since the order hasn't proceeded. They told me that they already shipped even thought it hasn't been so they couldn't refund it. And I was okay with that. Then the next day I get an email and they refunded me but took the shipping fee which was $12. The product was NOT shipped. I emailed them about it and they NEVER responded. read more

2 Stars because it's overpriced, overhyped up candy and most of their candy is hard. The candy doesn't taste fresh. I would come back to leave unhappy with 1 small handful of candy at $32. read more

Swedish candy has taken over social media and now I can say, rightfully so. Sockerbit has a great selection and I can't wait to try all of the other flavors. I got about an eighth of the bag full and ended up paying $6, and I'd say it was a decent amount of candy. Standouts for me were the mini citrus eggs, coca cola sour skulls, and the tutti frutti bubs. The workers are really friendly as well. It's on the pricier end yes, but the experience is worth it and your mouth will thank you ;) read more

A lot of the candy was out and it was early in the day for them to be sold out already. Staff wasn't overly friendly. The candy is good, just kind of stale. The store is very small inside nor what I was expecting. read more

With all the traffic from TikTok, their staff has done an incredible job refilling the candy and keeping their line moving! So if you drive by on a weekend and see a long line, do not be turned away because it goes by really quick! They are currently sold out of the pink & blue skulls, but they still have a lot of options! My personal favorite was the cola skull and light green bubs! read more

Love licorice? This place has gourmet level licorice, gummy candy, chocolate, etc. using the best ingredients. Thank goodness it's not close enough to walk to, or I'd go every other day. I'd post a pic, but I ate It all. read more

Super hyped up and expensive - they have "extra" candy (the good ones) in the back that's for online orders that takes up to a month to ship. The interior is really tiny and the candy selection choices seem limited as most are always sold out for a reason. The service is alright since it's self service and you have to get your own bag and scoop which is next to the cashier but I highly recommend the business to change their layout and provide the scoops and bags as you enter as it gets crowded and messy because people are all going to the cashier when you first enter or about to pay and leave. read more

There were good but there are limited options in store and the order process takes so long! If you go, I recommend the bubs and the skulls! The atmosphere was okay, a little crowded but ok. I would recommend buying somewhere else though because it takes almost 1-1/2 month to receive your order online.. read more

Customer service is terrible. Arrival time takes a few months after order placement. Overpriced for the quality.

My tik tok FYP has been filled with Swedish candy from a business in NY. As a L.A native I was a bit bummed thinking they were the only ones to enjoy those yummy candies in the U.S but I came across another tik tok of a location here in L.A that being Sockerbit!!! I was so excited I had to GO which I did and omg the place is mellow, organized, and very clean!! I love the individual scoopers. The worker at the front register was able to recommend candies for my kid since I wanted to get him his own individual bag. I ENJOYED Every piece of candy I got! I'm going back again! Our favs are the strawberry pomegranate ovals!!!! read more

Havent received my order online, and it's been 23 days. Emailed their support more than a week ago, and they're unresponsive and gives no update! How long am I supposed to wait for some candies? Months? read more

Disappointed with my Experience. We went to Sockerbit to get some candy early in the morning a bit after they opened hoping that we could beat the lines and that they would have fully stocked candies. When we went we were disappointed because they didn't have many candies and we also went for the popular BUBS candies and they did not have them out on the floor so we went up to the cashier to ask if they had any and we were told no but then we saw that they had a full bag of them in the back. Overall it was just really disappointing. read more

It was superr crowded when I went. I think forming a line outside could be a good idea. Also, there wasn't really any candies left when I went and it was midday on a Tuesday. Service was also hasty, not the best. I would recommend to just park at the grove as well read more

Love this candy. I am really surprised at the people leaving bad reviews because they don't like the flavor...not sure how that's the stores fault lol I looooove gummies so this is my go to. I give them as gifts to my coworkers to the point that every Christmas and valentines I have people coming up to me READY for their candy. Staff is super friendly and the store is clean/easy to maneuver. Love the lighthearted vibe read more

i love the candyyyy the place is so nice and the people are so nice aswelllll the candy is so good

I've known about Sockerbit and their amazing candies since 2014/2015 when it was all the craze on YouTube. I ordered my first batch online in 2015, my second batch in person at their Anaheim location (now closed, I'm sad) in 2017, and now my third batch in person last Sunday, in 2020. The quality has not changed, and although I would love to get obsessed and buy pounds of this ridiculously amazing tasty candy, it does make a dent in my wallet. My favorites are: the jumbo chocolate covered dolphins, chocolate covered caramel disks, half raspberry half licorice coins, citrus flavored eggs, all of their sour gummy skulls, sour raspberry shots, sour apple wrenches (probably the most sour candy they have in stock), and their nutella chocolates (wrapped in Geisha). I parked in the neighborhood right before 3rd street to avoid feeling stressed about street parking in front of Sockerbit. I'd walk half a mile if it meant I'd have Swedish candy!!! read more

I love this candy store . It's self-service and they have individual scoopers and bags out for people to serve themselves . I appreciated how there are a lot of labeled vegan options and clearly stated items marked with gelatin since I don't eat items containing gelatin. Can't wait to come back . read more

Prices were decent which took me by surprise. The mini sour skulls are delicious. No high fructose corn syrup is a huge plus.

This is such a cute candy store. I was craving Swedish candy after seeing all the hype around it online and decided to stop by this store to check it out. The selection did not disappoint, and the service was so friendly. Would definitely come here again to satiate my sweet tooth! read more

Home in La for the summer and have been craving the swedish heavenly candy at Sockerbit - As a scandinavian/ american family Sockerbit was throughout the many years we lived in La our to go to place on saturdays getting the scandinavian candy in. We drove long and we even supported this store through the pandemic for the hight end quality of swedish / scandiniavian candy. BUT I have to write this as I am so dissapointed in the low quality being served to people now. This is not the standard that it used to be, this is low ingredients and new production. Same prices but worse is not ok. What happened ? If anyone goes here now, do not think this is what swedish danish and norwegian people like. This is what we do not buy at home either. So please change it or lower the prices for the people who wishes to go buy it - and be frank when asked in store if something changed because clearly something has changed - new owner ship or going for better margins. So SAD and franky I am feeling dissapointed. read more

I placed my order over a month ago (5 weeks) and have not received a shipping update or anything. I understand that there have been an overwhelming number of online orders, however, at least communicate and handle the customer service aspect. If I don't get any reply to my email or at least a "we're sorry it's late" email then I will just cancel my order. read more

I placed an order with them 2/4/24 and nothing has come yet. I have called numerous times but they never pick up. I have emailed them several times- no response. They took my money almost 6 weeks ago but have not bothered to communicate with me even when I demanded a refund of my money. I will never, ever order from them again. I placed an order with Butik Hemlangtan on line a week ago and that delivery is slated to arrive in three days! Hemlangtan is so much more efficient and they have an even wider assortment of goods! I will be their loylal customer from now on! Stay away from Sockerbit!! read more

Sockerbit - Candy - Candy Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

We were first introduced to sockerbit in nyc at the color factory. Found out there's a store in LA and decided to visit the next time we were in the area. It's a tiny store with one very nice guy working. He loves to talk about the candy and Scandinavian things. The candy is somewhat expensive and at first I wasn't excited about the cost. But then I ate some. So good. Not sickeningly sweet like American candy tends to be. I got two pieces of several different types except for the sour sort. I don't eat a lot of candy so the little bit I got lasted quite a while. I'd go back again if I was nearby. read more

Definitely a place to go to! I feel like I'm politically incorrect for saying this, but this place is like the ikea of candy. BUT I had a slightly uncomfortable moment while I was here.... Environment: this place has an incredibly visually appealing storefront and store in general. Everything was white and that just made the candy pop! I feel like there's so much space that is being wasted and should be filled with MOAR candy! Service: so when I got here one girl who was filling up the candy took some time to stop and talk to us and tell us about the candy. BUT I felt bad because these employees looked miserable. You would think the management would do something to pump up the volume. I mean it's a candy store nonetheless not a Louie store. MY PROBLEM: so I obviously wanted to take pictures of everything. So I shoveled my favorite gummies onto the spoon and stepped back to arrange them to take a picture. The guy (who looked like the manager) immediately walked up to me and said "so since you touched your spoon I'm going to have to take it away and give you a new one" I let him know I was done and I just was trying to take a photo but I understood why because of sanitary reasons. He kept going on! As if I said nothing and reached out to grab it! It was super awkward and made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I told him I was done and just wanted a last picture. He tried to be nice but you could just tell he was such a jerk. I get where he's coming from, but I just told him I was done! You can't expect to have a store like this and not have people take photos! The product: the gummies are the best!! read more

Love this place. Authentic Swedish candy, always fresh, clean nice space and so many varieties!

The best thing about Sockerbit is that the candy is free of artificial dyes and flavorings so you don't get a sugar hangover unless of course you REALLY overdo it. The candy is flown in from Sweden so it's authentic and the assortment is unique and flavorful. As with everything, you'll have your favorites. During lockdown I would order from them and they were great about filling my orders according to my very specific notes. Every time I'm there the staff are friendly. I've read about them being rude and all I have to say is that the Swedes aren't "fake bubbly" like Americans. So, give them a break...they're not rude, just matter-of-fact. The NYC location closed down and I used to stop by when I was there on business. I am SO happy this location made it through the pandemic. I know I'll be a customer for life. Sockerbit is my jam. :) read more

I am embarrassed to admit that I had been spending too much time on Tiktok watching people unpack and taste boxes they'd gotten from Sockerbit...to the point where my mouth started watering when people described how great the sour gummies were. I had been wanting to visit for years and finally made it one day after a trip to LACMA and Craft Contemporary. It is an absolute bitch to find parking here on Saturdays, but I finally managed to swing a spot. In the store, we were able to use a scooper and choose our own candies--a dangerous game. I managed to stay under a pound. I'm not the biggest candy person, but I have a soft spot for sour candies. The textures of the sour gummies at Sockerbit are A+...springy, chewy, ad don't stick to your teeth. I can't fully recall, but I remember liking everything, particularly the sour grapefruit skulls. NGL, I would be coming here more often if it weren't for the awful parking situation. If you happen to be at The Grove, it's a few minutes walk away. You won't be disappointed! read more

Sweet employees as well as manager/owner, and the candy is sooo good! A bit pricey but worth it!

Omg I absolutely love this place. I live in NYC, my mother is from Sweden and when she went 2 months ago she brought home the usual bag of candy for me. I decided to do a Google search for a Swedish candy store and came across this place in LA. Apparently there was one in NYC, but they closed down a few years ago. I ordered 2 things and they arrived 2 days later. I was so pleased with my items I decided to order again. This time I "gifted" it to myself, with a little note saying "you deserve this fatty lol" just so I could open a little gift to my present self from my past self (yea I know I'm weird lol) ... it came wrapped so nice and omg the note was hand written. I never write reviews but this place definitely deserved a good review. I'm sure I'll be ordering again in the near future. Thanks again Sockerbit read more

I think this is my favorite candy store I've been to so far! They had a giant selection of exotic traditional Swedish candies, if you like interesting candies that are hard to find elsewhere, you should give it a try! One thing I wished they had was warheads. I especially like their salty licorice. Employees are friendly, and store is well organized and welcoming! They also sell cute, simple-modern decor and toys for kids and babies, and whenever I walk in they help me find what I'm looking for. Couldn't be better!! read more

I'm Swedish and the prices are fucking ridiculous , the candy is okay. Don't fill your bag up too much because of excitement like I did.

I love coming here way too much. I always decline getting a receipt so there's little evidence of my indulging on more sweets than is probably ideal. Scandinavian candies are so much tastier than American candies, and they don't use any artificial coloring. At $13.99 per pound, they have so much for you to choose from. You get one of their candy bags and scooper and pull out the drawers when you want something. They have boxes for $2 if you want to package some candies as a gift. My favorites are the marshmallows which have more bite to them than American marshmallows and they are much less sweet. I especially enjoy the chocolate-covered marshmallow and the strawberry-flavored one. I also like anything that's made by Bubs and most of the sour candies. My single most favorite candy here is a sour round-shaped one that is half red and half black (raspberry and sweet licorice). It is chewy but not too sticky. Every piece of chocolate candy I have tried is really good, too. The one thing I absolutely cannot eat, but have tried a few times, is the salted licorice candies. They are just too salty for my taste. Parking in the area is the biggest pain as I believe your only option is find street parking or be daring and park in the nearby Whole Foods lot and risk behind towed. read more
