As someone who loves European chocolate ( Dutch, German, British) we wanted to try andSons to see what their chocolate is all about and had high hopes. We tried their 24-piece Signature Collection and walked away with mixed feelings First, the good, the tempering of the chocolate is great. Glossy shells, good snap, and smooth melt. they have the technical part down. The presentation is also beautiful, and the boxing is beautiful. Visually, they are stunning. My husband loved their guava and orange. My reservation is with the flavor direction. For me nearly every piece skewed on the super sweet side, to the point where the cocoa itself felt like a background note rather than the star. If you are used to dark chocolate where bitterness and cacao complexity lead and sweetness supports, this collection may leave you wanting more depth and earthy notes. That said, I think they are intentional with this style in house as it's very dessert forward, so if you are buying a gift for someone with a sweet tooth, this box will absolutely make them happy. For dark chocolate enthusiast like myself who want the cacao to speak for itself; I found myself more of the chocolate flavor with earthy notes. Overall I am glad I got to try it

Another win for this chocolate shop! The packaging was so fun! Showed up in time for valentines and was an absolute treat for my husband that he loved! Highly recommend

I'm a CHOCOHOLIC, so during our recent stay in Los Angeles, when we were invited to dinner at one of my brother-in-law's closest friend's home, my BIL suggested we go shopping for a chocolate-themed hostess gift. Honestly, other than the hearing "shopping for a hostess gift," my interest was further heightened at the mention of "chocolate-loving." My first thought for high-quality, creamy, smooth, and well-balanced flavored chocolates was to visit nearby Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland in Beverly Hills. As we were driving, my BIL started raving about the Passion Fruit and POG (Passion fruit, Orange, & Guava) and Double Yuzu ganache bonbons that he's eaten from and Sons Chocolates. He followed up his luscious descriptions by telling me that the sons of the chocolatière who brought Zürich, Switzerland's Teuscher Chocolates, to Beverly Hills opened this store. Walking into this light-filled chocolate boutique, we were immediately hit with the aromas of coffee from this shop's walk-up cafe baristas and the cheerful greeting from the lovely woman behind the counter. My brother-in-law knew what he wanted to buy as a hostess gift, but I took my time browsing and felt giddy like a person with an addiction getting my chocolate "fix." My eyes turned to the dizzying display of truffles and bonbons as my mouth watered for the Hawaiian-inspired POG and Passion Fruit (liliko'i) bonbons. Although I prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate, the Macadamia Meringue caught my eye, too. Perhaps I was feeling a little homesick since we had already spent almost two weeks with my BIL and still had another week left in our vacation? Anyway, because I couldn't decide which flavors I wanted and was feeling a bit rushed because my brother-in-law had already made his purchase, my husband stepped in and ordered a 24-piece Chocolate Box. The young woman offered us a sample of a Passion Fruit and a Coffee bonbon, which she said were flavors included in the box, and I felt my indecisive mood instantly lift. She wrapped the chocolate box beautifully, and my husband guarded our purchase as if I'd pounce on it while we returned to our car. We noted that ganache bonbons and chocolates should be consumed within 10 days of purchase to ensure peak flavors and textures, and that the chocolate box should be stored in a cool, dry place. It'll be a hard call between getting traditional Swiss Teuscher chocolates and a modern California blend with Swiss heritage chocolates, but the next time I'm hankering for gourmet Swiss chocolates, I'd head to andSons Chocolates.

AndSons Chocolates is a must visit chocolate shop in Beverly Hills. This is a second generation store handed down to the son's of a long standing Beverly Hills chocolatier at the same location. The son's chocolate is different than the original shops but just as special. They have regular looking chocolates and colorful artsy ones. I LOVE their seasonal flavor choices. This time we tried the gingerbread and cranberry. Both delightful. Bring on the holidays!! Our go-to chocolate pick for the traditional look is the dark chocolate and orange flavor. Another really cool feature of this chocolate shop is that they have a window to order coffee/hot chocolate drinks. Their seasonal drink menu sounds delicious. There is also limited seating outside. Metered parking on the street and parking garages nearby. Walkable from Rodeo Drive.

As a lifelong chocoholic, it should be criminal that I have never done a chocolate tasting before. andSons went above and beyond to make my first tasting the most beautiful experience! I had the pleasure of being invited by Elena to andSons in Beverly Hills for a tasting. It is right in the heart of BH, which means parking can be a challenge, but we got lucky with a metered spot a few blocks away. The interior of this chocolate shop is absolutely stunning! The art on the ceiling, the bright-colored chocolate boxes dotted about, it is everything. We tasted four chocolates and took 6 home with us, not a single one of them disappointed. The chocolate was so rich and tasty, my favorite was definitely the milk hazelnut praline. We also tried the Maple Sea Salt Latte, which was delicious! What I really loved about this shop is the dedication to local ingredients and artists. Elena told us all about how the majority of their ingredients are locally sourced, and the chocolates themselves are made in DTLA. All of the art on the chocolate boxes is made by California artists, as well as the actual design of the chocolate shop itself. In modern times, local gems like this are becoming increasingly rare, and I appreciate not only the quality products, but the passion and commitment to the local community. Thank you, andSons!

Had the pleasure of visiting andSons Chocolates and it was a great experience! I sampled 4 of their best flavors and they were all crafted so well! The passion fruit caramel was honestly my absolute favorite. It was the perfect blend of fruit and chocolate (I'm not usually a fruit and chocolate kind of gal), but that one was something else. You can really tell the time and effort made into each piece. The s'mores one also left a great impression, the bite of marshmallow took me for a loop. I couldn't leave without making a purchase! I left with a mini box and a matcha affogato! If you're in the area, check them out! I absolutely enjoyed reading about the collaboration art as well. Aesthetically pleasing bonbons to match the shop! Thank you, Elena and andSons Chocolates! Will be returning soon!

This is a very nice chocolate store in Beverly Hills. The service was excellent and helpful as it was my first time here. The chocolates were not cheap, but they were so beautiful. Packaging is nice, too, especially if you want to gift the chocolates to someone. Note if you just buy the chocolates in a bag instead of a box, it will be a little cheaper.

As someone who has never thought of doing a gourmet chocolate experience I whole heartedly can happily recommend trying this kind of experience at this location ! I tried their four most popular flavors and my favorite was the smores chocolate collection. I was educated about what real chocolate is considered and how the taste does not match its competitors which I can strongly attest to. It's a rich but not over powering combination as someone who can't handle sweets the same anymore this is a better experience. I chose the iced strawberry matcha which was made to perfection there are no clumps, real strawberries added in the puree and the color speaks for itself it was a great cup. Try this place out and see how surprised you will be for not trying it sooner! It's a great gift for the women and men in your life just don't wait for that "perfect" moment and bless them with this goodness on a random day thank you to the team for being so welcoming and encouraging of this experience.

I had the pleasure of being invited to a chocolate tasting! The shop has a modern, elegant European feel with a mini cafe next door as well as couple seating outside. They gave us a little background on the company andSons which is a 2nd generation chocolatiers. Every single chocolate we tried was next level. Just the right amount of sweetness. You could taste the quality of the ingredients; nothing artificial or overly sugary here. I've had some well known luxury chocolate brands before but andSons beats them. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the striped hazelnut gianduja was so good. I bought a box to take home but will definitely order more online. You can park for two hours free without validation just down the street.

Came here for a chocolate tasting and had a lovely experience. The chocolates are absolutely scrumptious and taste so fresh. Everyone that works there is so sweet and welcoming too. The place itself is so lovely and inviting. My favorite was probably the s'mores flavor, but also the passion fruit caramel was a very unique and delicious combination. I would highly recommend getting a box of these lovely chocolates for someone instead of the typical bottle of wine.

I was out on my lunch and noticed this place across the street and figured since I was nearby, I'd give it a shot. Ended up grabbing six pieces for $18, and they do offer the same six pieces in a gift box for $27 if you're looking to impress. As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted my friend and me before we even realized we were fully inside. The service was warm and welcoming, which really set the tone. The interior is absolutely stunning--modern, clean, and definitely gives upscale vibes without feeling stuffy. It made the whole experience feel a little more special. Salted Caramel was just that perfectly salty, perfectly sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth smooth Speculoos Cookie Butter it tasted like someone just scooped cookie butter straight from the jar and covered it in chocolate. If you're a die-hard cookie butter fan, maybe you'd enjoy it, but it wasn't for me, and I wouldn't get it again. S'mores piece was also a hit lots of fluffy marshmallow and a nice balance of textures that made it feel like a real treat. Double Milk Chocolate it was rich, creamy, and exactly what you want when you're craving something classic. Caramel Gingerbread Waffle sounded super exciting, but I mostly just tasted the caramel. It wasn't bad at all (especially if you're a caramel fan like me), but I was hoping for more of that warm gingerbread spice or a hint of waffle to come through. But the star of the show? The PB&J. It tasted just like a third-grade lunchbox in the absolute best way. It was a classic, nostalgic flavor with a gourmet twist, and honestly, it blew my mind. Perfect balance of sweet and nutty, and so satisfying. Overall, the selection had a good variety, and it will be a one stop for me. However, if you're a chocolate lover or just want a sweet escape in a gorgeous setting, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The chocolates look so beautiful that they look fake! Rich flavors. Vibrant colors. Friendly staff. Convenient parking. You can also order coffee and pastries thru their window as well.

During the holiday season, that kind of just passed, I could not escape IG reels that romanticized…read morethe power of hot chocolate. Apparently, it can be so rich and thick (European Style) that it is part healing warmth and the other part just wildly delicious. So I decided to go ahead and find a cup of thick, and rich cocoa to hit me with holiday splendor, the kind that can re-assemble Frosty after his final melt. My friend Conrad and I were the duo who ventured to ChocoVivo to try chocolate, on chocolate, on chocolate, with some water on the side. ChocoVivo is in Culver City. The place itself is on Washington Blvd amidst some bars, and eateries. This place lends itself to be a dessert spot, an experience for chocolate lovers and those who are not, and anyone who just wants to experience the taste of chocolate in-depth and in odd luxury. As soon, as I entered, I made a beeline for the counter. I was overwhelmed with all the chocolatey choices: pastries, drinks, squares, with the list continuing exhaustively, it even included a chocolate skull that might serve better as decoration than a treat. I excused myself and went to use the restroom, I dared not ask questions to understand my options, when my bladder was full. I might make rash decisions, due to my inability to focus. And with so many options in front of me, I wanted to sample what was right and balanced for me. I wanted to sample chocolate, I just did not just want to taste chocolate. My trip to the facilities was a small adventure in itself. I passed a room with a man working on his laptop. But the room, seemed to be, like a Sultan's rest-room. It had pillows, hanging lamps, and a cream like colored that reminded me of sun-kissed sand. I clipped the room. There is a Minion (from Illumination fame) chilling in one of the couches. Another picture shows, a fishing net (maybe) with make-shift clouds pouring out of it, also leafs and butterflies. It seemed to be the remains of a shipwreck but it also held decorations that could have made the space more beautiful. I believe, and I could be wrong, of course, that this room used to be functional. A place to lounge, and see beauty, while enjoying chocolate. Now it was a forgotten room, whose purpose never fulfilled, and thus had stuff scattered around. I am sure, everyone can relate to that feeling, of getting stuff for an imagined room that never quite materializes and thus the room becomes storage, more than anything. Kondo deliver us! After, I came to the cashier, I ordered a hot chocolate. Conrad made a point, that the hot chocolate I ordered was not the European sipping hot chocolate that I had talked about on our car ride there. He then. made a point, that I should read a menu and then ask questions. I ask questions, as I read the menu. I eventually, ordered two hot chocolates, (one for him and one for me) and then we sampled 12 chocolate squares--- a sampler. The total was close to 60.00 dollars so this is an experience that is not going to the local mart and buying a Hershey's bar. The 12 chocolate samples were just great and enough, there were bigger samples, which I considered buying, but the price deterred me. The one that I got was super appropriate for both of us, by the end I was enjoying slightly by force, I mustered the strength to finish the half marathon. The full marathon would have tapped me out. The samples came with a card. Conrad was the one who was consulting the card, so we could not what chocolate we ate. It was truly fun, to be with someone who read of the information of the card, and then we tried to identify the taste as the card described. I wish I would have taken a picture of the card, but honestly, I am more of a determine by taste taster than a person who wants to be informed of what he is tasting, to know what he is tasting. I do remember the worst tasting chocolate we tasted--- it had black tea infused into it, I do not remember its cacao percentage, each chocolate had a cacao percentage. The hire the percentage, the sweeter the chocolate. The black tea had this earthy and tea taste that was profound. I guess imagine tasting. a black tea without sugar that is kind of the taste I struggled with. I am glad I tasted this chocolate, however, because it was part of the whole experience. I did not drive to the beach and endure a pothole, I drove to the beach and was both intrigued and jolted by the bounce that the pothole produced. Some chocolates I really enjoyed, the hot chocolate was goodness in a cup. The chocolate sampler also came with an espresso that was split into two cups. I was provided a knife to cut each chocolate. I put the knife in the center with one arm, and use the other hand to pierce the chocolate. My halfs were not perfect. Sometimes Conrad got the bigger half square, sometimes I did. I annotate all this so one knows that when you visit ChocoVivo you will need to work, if you want to split those chocolates, but the work was part of the fun!
