We went yesterday and stood in line for a candy store, and I thought that this stuff better make me have wings! However, the candy was so good and it was worth the wait. Park at the Grove. read more

Love this candy shop but I will say that the parking is tough and the lines are fairly long. My favorites are bubs and the cola candy. Some of the candies are hit or miss so I would recommend getting a little bit of everything to stay. read more

This update is through the perspective of the pandemic. I am so happy that Sockerbit has made it through this far. For awhile, the front was boarded up and I wasn't sure if they were operating for awhile but as safety sanctions are slowly lifting, they are fully operating. Before the pandemic, you were able to grab a bag and a scooper and fill your bag up. You were charged by the weight. I often came by during my lunch and got a small bag that would get me through the day. Right now, they are offering their delicious treats prepackaged and they can be mailed nationwide. What I did was pulled up one of the apps they are in and selected the 1LB mix. I went online and looked at their menu and listed all my favorite ones and asked if they can "do their regular mix but make sure they added the following" The associate went ahead and just made my one pound bag all of my favorite candy and I can't be any more pleased! I am normally not a big licorice or gummy candy fan but there is something about Sockerbit that completely challenged all of that. I can ONLY eat and crave for licorice and gummy candy from Sockerbit. Black licorice, especially the salty ones, are soooo good here. Their chocolates are delicious too and sometimes I will add a bit of Fazer chocolate lenses with my bag. But their sweet and salty licorice and gummy candies are very distinct and unique to me that i tend to focus on that. read more

Den har är riktigt Svenskt godis! Om du kravs skitbra godis på godislördag kom hit. If you're like me a individual who happened to have spent a long time in Sweden you have a certain longing and craving for their insanely good candy selections they have everywhere gas stations grocery stores, kiosks that sell nothing but things to smoke and candy, All over Sweden one will find these stations. In stark contrast to their state run alcohol monopoly known as Systembolaget or hell the only place one can legally buy alcohol over 3.5% outside of a bar or nightclub. The candy of this country will make you an addict. I craved Swedish candy and entered a place called Sockerbit (Sugar Cube in Swedish) I filled my bag with candy of all sorts I found myself confused by their compartments and unable to open their complex candy compartments. An older lady explained to me how to operate them. I then went to weigh and pay for my candy I picked up the Swenglish accent of the cashier and got to practice my second language briefly. read more

Sockerbit had a good selection of candies when we stopped by. The shop is very clean and provides you with new scoops and bags to take your candies in. Compared to other Swedish candy stores I've been to, Sockerbit is a bit more expensive but still reasonable! There is street parking and a paid lot across the street, but both get pretty busy! The workers were nice and were attentive to our needs. read more

Love the candy but hate that they sell the somewhat viral candy bagged with an assortment rather than letting you just scoop it your self. I miss the old setup that they had now it seems like the candy selection is getting slimmer and slimmer. But nonetheless I still will visit for the yummy Swedish candy! read more

Great candy shop! Didn't know they've been around for 10 years, I heard about it on tiktok and had to try some of the sweet and sour candy. The staff was super helpful in telling you how to get the candy, provide recs and letting you access the scale to see how much more you want. My favorite were the sour skulls!!! All the flavors were amazing. I'd come back here just to get more of those! read more

Great candy, but gets super busy during the weekend! Though its a fun experience, I recommend going alone or with just one other person as they only let in 3-4 small groups at a time. This is good because before they controlled the line, there were about 30 people in the store and it was mayhem. People coughing while opening the lids of some of the containers (which we avoided taking from) and little kids taking some free samples. They do online orders, but because they're so popular, they say it takes 2-3 weeks to just process the order. But if you live far away and are addicted to gummies like I am, this is the best thing ever. read more

Tasty candy!! Loved everything except for the non gelatin candies... it is a bit pricey per pound as per usual, but it is imported. I will definitely be going again 2 bags of candies cost me around 40 bucks my bags were pretty hefty. I waited in line for about 30 minutes, worth the hype. I do wish they had more bubs though but I think they were sold out. read more

Sockerbit - Swedish candy, banana Carmel bubs - Candy Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Came to this place because of the Tiktok craze! We had to pay for parking near the farmers market and walk to the store. Despite the small size, the store had a decently sized selection of candies to pick from. Before I came here, I called in advanced to make sure they had the candy I wanted to try in stock (they told me they restocked a few hours prior to me calling), but when I arrived they were still restocking the candy I asked about. The lady working at the register had went to the back to pick out the candies I wanted. The candy itself was good, but my favorite one was the strawberry cream! read more

I'm not really a candy person but I discovered this spot while I was endlessly scrolling through Tiktok and I love it!! Such a wide variety of swedish candies, I had so much fun grabbing a bag of random sweet and sour candies. Really great quality! Parking can be a pain but it's possible and honestly, worth it. read more

I was so excited to try Sockerbit because of the traction being gained from Tiktok! Street parking wasn't too difficult on a Saturday late afternoon, so that was a plus! The store itself is extremely small and there are a lot of people packed in it. There isn't really any line or any order which made it a little bit too chaotic for me. You grab the bags at the cash register which is further back from the front, which means you have to navigate your way through the crowd and the display in the middle. There were lots of options for candys, but not all of them had labels, which backfired because we got some that we were curious about but didn't like because it had flavors we weren't usually a fan of.. BUT there were some candies that were a hit, based on flavor and the unique textures. The price ended up being around $28 for 1.7lbs, which is a lot but I guess it's LA.. I would possibly come back once in a while for some of the candy, but definitely will not go as crazy as to get 1.7lbs again read more

One of my favorite stores in LA. They have all the best Swedish foods/ candy one could ask for. I went to Sweden over the summer, and fell in love with the foods over there. I didn't think, anywhere in LA offered Swedish Candy/ foods, until I found Sockerbit. Staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in Swedish foods/Candy. read more

Came here for the hype and left with a bag of yummy candy! First time trying Swedish candy and if you're looking to try it in LA, I would recommend this spot. Came in on a Thursday before closing and a couple of options were sold out but there was still a lot of candy available. Don't come in expecting to be amazed because some of the options aren't all that. My candy reccs are the Bubs and Skull candies! read more

After being on Swedish candy tiktok for months I finally got my hands on some. I went to Sockerbit at about 5pm on a Friday and they had most of the candy I was looking for but had run out of some of the Bubs I wanted. Still walked away super happy. The workers were great at explaining how the candy picking and buying process worked. The area was clean and tidy. And Swedish candy is worth the hype! I personally love all of the Bubs and skulls. It's been a couple days since I went and 99% of the candy I got is still fresh! read more

We really loved coming to the store! It was so fun to pick out so many of the viral candies we've been seeing online. The staff was helpful and suggesting some of her favorites. They had most everything that we wanted in stock. read more

Have been going for over a year now. When we started visiting, the employees would always be nice and greet us, but the last few months they barely look up when you walk in. I know Swedish candy got extremely popular online, but it shouldn't affect the in the store experience, especially when you've been going consistently for over a year. We used to be able to scoop our own Bubs candy, but for the last few months that hasn't been an option. We would ask and they would say they're just sold out at the moment, except they would put together these $15 Bubs "mixed" small baggies, but it's hit or miss if they have those in stock and it has flavors we don't like so we're essentially paying $15 for the bubs pear minis and the sour skulls because everything else is a no-go for us. This last week we asked again about scooping our own and the woman said that won't be an option anymore but maybe in a few months if they get more inventory in. We've also tried to order online a few times and it's always sold out. We understand there's a shortage, but it's unfortunate that we can't even pick our own anymore. We're probably just going to order online from other suppliers moving forward who let us choose what we want to purchase, not the mixed bags, that's the biggest gripe we have for sure. We can deal with not friendly employees if we can still buy what we want, but can't deal with both. Lol read more

I came in Wednesday morning after hearing about this store on TikTok. It's so great! The candy selection there is so unique and everything was delicious. The girl working there was so friendly and talked us through all the options. Don't be afraid to try the black licorice (they'll even give you a sample if you ask!). I'm officially hooked. read more

Sockerbit - Some of the sweets and the cute set up! Where you can be helped by the best people! - Candy Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I have purchased many orders over the years. Especially for the holidays. It is not cheap but the quality is good and everyone loves the candy. I don't drive so often I have had it sent to me. I live fairly close so I have picked up an order before. Customer service used to be excellent. They would give you small party bags and stickers. They used to have a larger variety of candies. But now that people have been seeing this on TikTok, it is all the craze. Customer service has gone out the window. I know you must have small purchases all the time. I wish you wouldn't forget long time shoppers who spend an average of $100.00 an order. So my experience with Sockerbit a couple of days before Easter has really pissed me off. I placed an order online and paid for the purchase. I chose to pickup because a friend was giving me a ride. It was hard to find parking. I said I'd just be a minute. Well I asked the girl at the register for my order pickup. She didn't see it but said she'd check after she rang up all the people waiting. I told her someone was waiting and it was paid for she just needed to hand it to me. No reply a blank stare. I saw another woman in the back and I approached her. She said it should be out front, yes but it wasn't. Then she started looking. Said it was filled. That's when I said, "Are you f-----g kidding me." Then she got on the phone and called someone. She came back and said that she needed to refill the order. And did I know what I ordered. You don't know the order? So I showed her what I ordered and paid for. She proceeded to tell me she was out of several things. I was fuming. All this time my ride was waiting. I ended up without the Easter candy I wanted. This is no way to run a business. I did not have time to ask for a refund. I could only imagine how long that would have taken. I spent another $40.00 buying chocolate Easter candy. I am incredibly disappointed in Sockerbit and the staff I dealt with. Thank you. read more

My grandkids love Swedish candy, and they have a good variety. The sales people were nice and helpful & friendly.great service

Omg the BEST Sour Swedish candies!!!!! Believe the hype! Tik Tok made me do it. Thank me later.

Why aren't there more locations spread out across socal so whenever I'm craving some Swedish candy, I'm not agonizing about weathering LA traffic, battling cars for parking spots and eventually getting turned around on some alley way not knowing where I'm even going anymore. BUT, is Sockerbit worth it? Yes. Hello to the swedes yes! My favorite type is the creamy centered sour straws. I dont even know what they're called but simply sublime. The best way to enjoy is having an edible and going to town living like the adult child you are. read more

Stopped by around 12 since it was on the way back to our destination and for some reason they were closed. The candy is amazing. Parked in the Trader Joe's parking lot. They do not valet so got something. At Trader Joe's to avoid fee

Ordered online but had to make a cancellation because I was no longer to have access to the address provided. I reached out since the order hasn't proceeded. They told me that they already shipped even thought it hasn't been so they couldn't refund it. And I was okay with that. Then the next day I get an email and they refunded me but took the shipping fee which was $12. The product was NOT shipped. I emailed them about it and they NEVER responded. read more
