    Outside dredging to go in
    Meechelle F.

I was very disappointed they were super crowded today and the wait was way over an hour. When I say every seat in this place was filled. So I decided to leave and come back on another day. Usually their wait time is great and it's not that crowded. I guess it's best to have an appointment instead or be here before they open to be the first in...

Very helpful and the wait isn't as long as when calling the national number. If you need to go in person, they are pleasant and helpful.

Service was smooth and fast. Appointment is needed during this period, limited services due to COVID-19. Review valid from March 2021.

There are two and one is ADA accessible. It's a user friendly interface and once you select your reason, it lists the necessary criteria that you need (for example: completed Form 130UA or something similar). It's so simple, if you don't have all the items then you don't need to waste an hour in line just to be sent away. There is usually a security guard just inside the entrance but I've seen him do a lot of troubleshooting and answering questions as well. I'm not going to lie, I've been here well over an hour on many of my visits. Most of the time I've come around 4pm and my longest visit was close to 2 hours, but that was a couple of years ago and for some reason, I feel like it was around a holiday. However, this time I came right at 3pm on a Tuesday and I was in and out in 20 minutes, including the walk to and from the parking lot! That's not bad at all! When I was there, just under half the stations had employees and there were maybe a dozen or so people waiting. The number system seems to be based on categories and my number was called when I had only been seated 6 or 7 minutes. My interaction with two employees was extremely kind and helpful, though I've never had a bad interaction with any of the employees ever. The main person helping me explained in detail what my two options were and then took care of me very quickly. Honestly, I was dealing with an old title that had previously been lost and I was certain I would need to ask a few questions and then come back at a later time with the rest of the info. Therefore, I was extremely happy with how easy this entire process was. Note, when possible try to come in the mid afternoon, it's unlikely you will get lucky on your lunch break. If you are doing anything with a title, they do not take new people filing titles after 4:30pm, so aim for an earlier visit. You can check their website to download forms ahead of time like I did so you are just asking about specifics before submitting. Also, if you call they tend to have messages listing the criteria as well. Do NOT show up at a government building without your ID. Seriously, what are you thinking? Depending on what you are doing, you may need to also bring proof of insurance and registration, just a good idea to have it easily accessible. They take Visa, Mastercard and Discover but not American Express. When using a card there is a $1 convenience fee. For something you can't avoid forever, they have a relatively painless system in place and I find this a pleasant experience compared to jury duty, license renewal, etc.

Man talk about a bunch of folks who are dead behind the eyes…read more.. After my bank overpaid my monthly bill, I tried to get a refund. 3 calls later I finally got a lady in billing who said "sure come on in and prove to us we have your money and that it cleared the bank". This being after three billing statements mind you where it is obvious they have my money. I tell the lady that I am on my way and that I can prove that they have my cash by logging into a computer and accessing my online account showing that the dough has cleared (3 months ago!) So I go in and walk over to the desk where Tweedledum and Tweedledumber are sitting and tell them that I am there for a refund. After listening to them tell me again that I have to prove that they have my money (after 3 months) I tell them that I spoke with a lady and that that was what I was there to do. Now get this, one of the ladies tells me that she needs proof from my bank, I tell her that logging in to my account is proof and she says "no, we need something from the bank" I tell her we can print out the statement, well she doesn't get it and this goes on for another 10 minutes. The two behind the desk now need to call another lady, who also doesn't get it. "All I do is print the refund checks they tell me to print" she says and walks away. At this point Tweedledum says "anyway we don't have a computer you can use to log into your account so let me have a supervisor call you later 'cause she is at lunch now"... OMG, they need to start to administer IQ tests to some of these public employees.
