I was with my dog, waiting on my company's roadside assistance and feeling pretty vulnerable. Chris Sorenson stopped, immediately reassured me, and promised he wouldn't leave until I was taken care of and he kept that promise. His calm, professionalism, and genuine kindness turned a scary situation into one where I felt safe and supported. He handled everything efficiently and with care, but more importantly, he showed up as a human when it mattered most. Five stars doesn't feel like enough. Thank you, Chris ...truly.

I was charged $129.45 in tolls for under 20 minutes of driving…read more This is not an opinion - this is based on actual billing records with timestamps, and I'm attaching a redacted copy of my statement to prove it. Here are the facts: Chisholm Trail Parkway - about 7 minutes of driving - $2.80 Completely reasonable and what any driver would expect. On Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express: Outbound trip - less than 7 minutes - $51 Return trip - after exiting Chisholm Trail Parkway, I was on local roads for roughly 5 minutes, then entered Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express again: About 11 minutes of travel - $78.45 Total on Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express: $129.45 When you look at the timestamps on the statement, these are not single tolls. They are multiple charges stacking up within minutes of each other, creating a total cost that is completely disproportionate to the time spent on the road. This is directly supported by the billing data. Final comparison: About 7 minutes on Chisholm Trail Parkway - $2.80 About 18 minutes total on Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express - $129.45 Same area. Same day. Within minutes of each other. There is no reasonable way for a driver to anticipate that one toll road would cost a few dollars, while another would cost over $100 for a similar duration of travel. If you're driving in this area: Do not assume toll roads are priced similarly Be extremely cautious using Tarrant Pkwy / North Tarrant Express Check your statements carefully No one expects triple-digit toll charges for short trips. In my opinion, drivers deserve far more transparency so they can make informed decisions before entering the road.

From the moment I walked in, the level of kindness and patience from the staff was noticeable. All three attendants were great, but Randall especially left a lasting impression. He treated every single customer with genuine care, taking his time and never making anyone feel rushed--even when there were clear language barriers. At one point, an Asian woman was trying to schedule a passport appointment and was struggling to understand the process. Randall didn't brush her off or rush through it--he patiently worked with her, doing everything he could to make sure she understood. I also saw him switch to Spanish to help other customers who weren't fluent in English. That kind of effort and compassion is rare, and it truly matters. The woman at the middle desk was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the gentleman at the end, with glasses, handled a busy line and an overflow of packages with efficiency and professionalism. It's easy to expect basic service, but it's not every day you experience genuine humanity like this. Today reminded me that kindness still exists in everyday places--and it makes all the difference. This was, without a doubt, the best experience I've ever had at a post office. Maybe this review is too deep. Maybe not. I think too many times we hear about the negative experiences and not enough times are we recognizing the good in the world. Even if it was something as simple as kindness and patience at the post office. God bless these people.

I have had plenty of problems with the Carrollton US Post Office on Josey Lane over the years. But…read morelet me warn you about another way for them to pull the rug out from under you. We've used medium sized Priority Mail boxes for years because we could depend on the fixed price for shipping the box, regardless of the weight. Sure, the rate goes up nearly every year. You can depend on that, too, but the current fixed rate is $21.95 with delivery in 2 to 3 days (or maybe 3 weeks since they sometimes miss the target). We picked up a few boxes, from the lobby, at the same place the post office staff makes them available. We did the addressing, filled it up and asked a friend to take it to the clerk and pay the $21.95 postage. To our surprise, the cost was $34.25 because we used the wrong medium size priority mail box. Did you know there are 2 slightly different medium size priority mail boxes that you could use? I kid you not. It could cost you an additional $12 to send it if you pick up the wrong one. We've never seen the wrong box before. Make sure the box you select has small red lettering that says "FIXED RATE" for the lower $21.95 rate. If it says "MAILING BOX" instead, you'll probably pay more, like we did ($34.25). I can't say for sure that the postal employees intentionally switched the boxes on us customers but the 2 options definitely look too much alike. We won't get fooled again.

A straight up rear view Texas town. Lockdowns took the smiles off all the Texan faces, bad politics ruined all our DFW places. No more fine dining photographs, erased valuable time, blown away with the wind, ya'll can have it back, I'm outta here. Everyone brainwashed by the lies, heads up in the sky, Gov'nor turned off that "ya'll come back" sign. Looked in the rear view mirror one last time and watched it disappear. Coppell ain't nothin' but a rearview town, crime, mass illegal immigration, broken hearts, broken dreams, ripped us from our sacred grounds, never thought I'd ever leave it. It ain't nothin' what it used to be, population minus me. On the other side of that dust cloud, ain't nothin' but a rearview town. We could tough it out, but what's the use? When Texas can't even keep the power on, it's hard to do. Too many Marxist leftist to run into, so much road to somewhere new. Coppell ain't nothin' but a rearview town, it ain't nothin' but memories from yesterday, one more missed plane, one less rollin' down Main, ain't nothin' left to see or say. On the other side of that airport mixmaster, jet fuel disaster, ain't nothin' but a Texas rear view town. Do not recommend.

American Municipal Service - This company makes annoying/harassing phone calls without good cause.

I have received several phone calls from a business from Carrollton, Texas, (I live in…read moreMississippi), in which they say they collect old tickets for municipalities and that I owe a ticket from 18 years ago in Gulfport, Mississippi. I have told them several times, that I have no tickets in that town or any where else, and to stop calling my number. But they persist in calling. I told them if someone owes a ticket in a town/state, etc., usually the court where the ticket is owed contacts the alleged violator with a letter. I told them I called the municipality and spoke with a assistant court clerk, and gave them my info and she told me they have no ticket on me. She said it is probably a scam. So I filed a complaint with the FCC, FTC, CFPB and THe State Attorney General Office of texas and Mississippi against the company. If the phone calls don't stop, I am going to file a cause of action against them in federal and state court here in mississippi. Product or Service Mentioned: American Municipal Services, (collections). Reason of review: Employees keep making harassing phone calls to me, thus disturbing my right to peace and quiet and tranquility..

They were thinking that I would not research this, but I did. I called Euless Courts and was told that they have no idea how they got my name and that I paid my ticket way back in 2004. Apparently they just send out random letters to a lot of people that have paid their tickets and think that people will be too afraid to research this. I called Euless Courts immediately and spoke with the person in charge. She sent over my records showing that the ticket had been paid. American Municipal Services was supposed to have let me know when they received this from the City of Euless, but they never did. I called them today and was told by a man with a very bad attitude that I owed nothing. He said they received this information on the 9th of this month. Today is the 22nd. They never called and were hoping that I would just naively send them money to the amount of $683. They were so nice when I "owed them money" but when they had found out I owed nothing; this guy was a real jerk. This is partially a real business, but they also scam people. If you receive a letter from them, always check with the County you supposedly owe money. I have heard people say that they received a letter for a ticket for a state that they have never been to. I have heard that the owner has been in all kinds of trouble for lying as well. Check all of the scam sites and you will find them all over the place. They're not reputable at all. I will never respond to them again.
