Absolutely the smoothest process I have ever been through. They are professional and helpful. The wait time was less than 20 mins.

I've had to register 3 vehicles since moving here recently and wait times have been very short. Quick pleasant employee.

When I finally got through the doors, a nice young lady by the name of Courtney helped me with my drivers license to Texas from Florida. She explained they would not accept a Global Entry card as my second form of ID and I had left my passport at the office. They also would not accept my bank statement from PNC app so I had to get copies of those statements as well. I had two appointments one at eight and one at 8:20. The one at eight was for a Texas identification card. She told me you can't have both. Since the appt for my drivers license was at 8:20 I had 45 minutes to get there and back. Of course it was rush-hour traffic but I got back at 8:57, seven minutes past the 30 minute time mark. I walked in and a rude woman by the name of Robin, told me to step back in line as I explained I was working with Courtney, and I had the paperwork. She said Courtney's with a customer step back. Courtney waved me and said she'll be with me and asked me if I got everything I said yes. I waited outside inline for another 10 minutes making it 17 minutes past my 30 minute mark. When I got up to Robin again, not only was she rude but now obnoxious and told me to go to a different DPS because I missed my 30 minute window. I explained that I was here but because she made me wait in line it caused me to be even later, she said well I can't help you. She said get back on the app or go to another DPS. I called out to Courtney saying you know I have everything. Robin asked if I had a ticket for a delay, and I asked Courtney why didn't you give me one. She replied I gave you a 30 minute window, Robin is the one that gives the tickets. The really sad thing is that I made this appt 6 months prior in January. Very frustrated and irritated, I came back to my office and I started trying again to get an appt. Luckily I got the Carrollton office the next day! My daughter and I had a wonderful experience just the week before here. The ladies Jodi And Zakia at THE CARROLLTON DMV were amazing and kind. My advice is to avoid at all costs going to the Flower Mound location. If you can go to Carrollton, they are much kinder and they will help you in ways that Flower Mound will not. -5 stars for ROBIN.

2 hr wait to pickup plates. 2 employees at the counter. This is ridiculous for all the taxes we payread more

Clean. Orderly. Gone are the days of waiting three hours through a cacophonous milieu of chaos…read more This Department of Public Safety Office makes getting your license renewed easy. First, you do have to secure an appointment online. When I got the notification via mail that it was time to renew my license, I made an appointment a few months in advance on their website. Once I arrived , there was ample parking for my early morning appointment when I arrived. Upon walking in, there was an employee who had me check in via iPad to assign me a number and then directed me to a waiting area. I only had to wait about 10 minutes before my turn. Once my number came up via an announcement and a readout on the flatscreens in the waiting area, I made my way to the appropriate desk. The rest of the process was pretty much unchanged from years previous- submitting forms, taking a new pic and paying the fee- it was all pretty simple and I was in and out in about 35 minutes. I would definitely book my next appointment at this branch. It was hassle-free and such a departure from the DMV of yesteryear.

I was able to do my application, as all of us due to get an appointment at a drivers license location that had an appointment available. I had to keep trying because the first one's that were available were a month away or more. I didn't plan to renew it that far in advance. But I kept trying to find an appointment earlier. There must've been some cancellations as I was able to pick one up same day in Garland. So I Ubered over to the Department of Public Safety to a store there in Garland and it was really organized. Very nice place, very clean, plenty of room even with lots of people in orderly transition to get there renewals done there. The people were real friendly and I got it done after about a half hour wait everything was cool. I brought over my passport and my drivers license and that's all they needed. I filled out a one page form. Got a temporary permit and the real license is on its way to my mailbox, Easy Peezy!
