Denton is quirky and eccentric place that reminds me of Austin. I've noticed plenty of local and…read moremain stream businesses moving to Denton over the years. The people in Denton are friendly and hospitable. Some of the places I've enjoyed checking out are l'amitie (cafe), north point cafe, true leaf studio (plant shop/tattoo parlor), th cookie crave and recycled books/records CD.

In this respectful resident's opinion, who came to Denton from Houston, with family in the year 1968, and grew up riding my bike nearly everywhere in the current city limits. Denton is my forever home of happiness, as suggested in the cult classic film, Rocky Horror Picture Show, which was actually a term project for a class in the Radio, TV, Film department at the University of North Texas, which changed its name the same year I graduated, 1985. Now, I write out memories from my very daring life experiences from my childhood, wonderful education at two very fine institutions, UNT and the University of Houston, where I received my MBA and Ph.D. Springtime in north Texas means rain showers, interspersed with sunshine and inactivity. Cue the ferocious mosquitoes that bite despite the liberal use of Deep Forest Off! Continue to fight the good fight and help those who are struggling physically emotionally and spiritually. Let's just say I am in awe of the variety of metaphysical items this store has to offer. You can do an Aura Reading. Tarot readings are also available and much more. I believe that whatever you need it will be available here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience while shopping here.

I think this association is due to the fact that I come here almost exclusively to attend their psychic fairs, classes and sessions (as opposed to only shopping). Here you can get a tarot card reading, communicate with loved ones on the other side, find out who you were in a past life and meet your spirit guides, just to name a few of the opportunities for spiritual exploration that they offer. Some of my experiences have been so enlightening and impactful that I would describe them as life changing. As far as the store itself and the merchandise they sell, to me it's more like the gift shop attached to an attraction. Like most gift shops, it's enjoyable to browse, but the goods can be a little expensive. However, these days with the pervasiveness of online shopping, it's the price you pay for the ability to see/touch/smell items before you buy them.
