City of Plano has topped off with lots of great parks with too many wonderful things to do here. I walk by Dog parks, water park, enormous football field, soccer field, volleyball court and basketball court, all your outdoor activities at your neighborhood. I walk the trail from PSA 2 all the way to Veteran park close, and way back! That's a good 10miles. So proud of myself today and will kindly reward myself with some cupcakes! I can't wait to do this more. I want to thank City of Plano for their outstanding service for keeping all these parks clean and beautiful, also safe. Love my city. Come visit City of Plano.

The very nice Lady was all to happy to direct me where to go! When I got into the building inspection office it wasn't obvious what to do or who to talk to. There were 2 people sitting in what appeared to be a mock waiting room. I waited patiently in front of the counter for what seemed like an excessive amount of time. I was never acknowledged or directed where to go. I finally asked a fellow patron singing in on a clip board marked with a sign that said "Complete Application". He told me to sign in on the clip board and someone would eventually get to me. Overall the experience was good but they could stand to communicate more clearly with better signage.

It always seems loud in here so I wouldn't advise trying to get anything done where you need it to be quiet. I like that they have a drive-up book return too -- very convenient. This library does not participate with the Libby app -- not at the time of this writing -- so if you reserve an ebook, you'll need to download the app they do work with. They FINALLY got more parking added here -- it's been so tough to find parking but there's a long new section of spaces now.

I've participated in several library sponsored events and they're always so well done. The hosts are organized and they communicate well with both vendors and attendees. Then there are the programs - I can't rave about these enough!!! You can learn to cook, sew, grow, fold, etc. They offer a mix of in-person classes as well as take home kits. Their Spice Club Kit is popular among foodies and they've recently launched a Spice Club Speaker event to go along with the theme. The staff running the in-person classes are so informative and patient; they make it easy to follow along and keep it interesting. It really is a joy to visit my local library.
