The play place is immaculate and there are sanitizers on each table and sinks available for washing your hands. From the space to the events, everything is so well thought out. The very first time I was here was for a business networking group. I loved the food and the people. Fast forward a few years later and the free seminars they run saved me into breastfeeding journey. We were at a loss paying so much money for consultants when social play Haus had a free seminar to help moms! This is where I met Nia (@nursinglittles) and she helped us so much. Had my daughters 1st Birthday on Valentines Day at Social Play Haus and it was fantastic! The owners and staff were great to work with and the place is just amazing for kids and adults plenty of space for our guest to feel safe! I only have positive things to say. Food and drinks are on point - I especially love their adult slushees and the latte selection (Ube is a must!) There really isn't much to dislike about Social Play Haus. My 4 year old son had a blast going down the slides, dressing up as a rocket ship, picking veggies from the felt garden, and putting on his own puppet show. I've seen on social media that on the weekends they reach capacity pretty quickly but lucky we were there on a Thursday morning and it was pretty much all to ourselves and a couple of other families. While my son played, my husband and I had breakfast and the food was fantastic! Way better than you would think for a children's play place. The avocado toast was out of this world. My favorite part (even though we weren't able to partake this time) is that they serve wine, beer, mimosas, bellinis. How has no one opened a play place with liquor before?! We plan on coming backs very soon to have a drink and relax while my son gets his crazies out. A wonderful place to spend a few hours. read more

Really great space for my 2 year old . Huge play area, which is enclosed. The owner was very sweet and kept asking if we were okay. Ordered the Mac and cheese bites, chorizo and goat cheese Flatbread, and arugula salad. For drinks ordered caramel latte. Everything was delicious. Would be a great birthday or event space for kids. Really wanted to like this place as it is a great concept, however lacked on execution, big time. Play space, while large, was a walking hazard with zero control - no employee monitoring the area, picking up toys the kids threw around, or cleaning any surfaces/toys stuck in little ones mouthes during our visit. Older kids were running around, throwing toys, going down slides ignorant or careless of the newly walking babies making their way through the maze of debris. Toys felt sticky, no chalk for the chalk board, ball slides missing balls, just lacking. In the first few minutes of being there, my 4 year old cut his finger on the wood slide, went to the bar to request a bandaid and got a large adult sized one, a bit funny for a kids place to not have kids bandaids but that can be overlooked. What can't be overlooked is the staff member's reaction; she asked where it happened and when we told her "the slide" she didn't move to go look at it to ensure it was safe for other children or that no blood was around the area for biohazard cleanup, just said "oh no" and that was it. No one came in the play area to inquire or investigate beyond that point. Needless to say we didn't try the food. I rarely leave reviews, especially bad ones, but was beyond disgusted by this place. Clean your act up, supervise the area, separate safe space for babies (you have enough room), enact an injury protocol, and yeah get another bathroom - and clean it! read more

What a great environment for both kids and adults. I wanted to bring the kids somewhere fun while making sure their grandpa would have a place to sit down. This place definitely offered everything we needed. The playground was carefully curated into a learning experience for kids. The restaurant offered different food and drink options for both kids and adults. I also really appreciate how the staff cleaned the playground after our session. Social Play Haus is by far the best place on the island to bring your kids and have a fun, relaxed-vibe hangout and huge bonus points for great music, cleanliness, delicious coffee and baked goods and of course the bar drinks! Every time I'm there with my three boys, time flies and we stay around 3 hours. The owners Jenny and Marc are awesome- down to earth, friendly, and passionate about the warm environment they created for local families. A lot of love went into this space and it shines through in every detail from the thoughtful toys chosen in the playroom to the books and games in the lounge area. We love Social Play Haus so much we booked my son's second birthday here and they went above and beyond in curating an energetic dinosaur themed party. I'd book it again in a heartbeat! I cannot believe it took me so long to find this hidden gem! It was the perfect family outing. I called the day before to book and Mark, the owner, was so nice and patient answering all my questions. We were looking for somewhere to celebrate my son's first birthday. We wanted something special not over the top and most importantly safe. Social Play Haus makes safety a priority. I lost my mask in the parking lot and walked in with my jacket pulled over my face. I was greeted my Tierney who immediately recognized my problem and offered me a mask. We then had our temps taken and had to sign their waiver and focus questionairre. From there we were escorted to our private table and we're encouraged to wash our hands at the sink provided. We were also asked to please sanitize our hands before entering the play area. From there it was an hour and a half of fun for our little guy! He had such a great time. There was so many things he played with with but his favorite was for sure the slides! As for myself and my husband we ordered a few beers and relaxed, having fun with our son. It was great to feel normal in a way we haven't been able to in months. We also ordered a snack, the bavarian pretzel, and a kids meal, the chicken nuggets. The food was great. There was 3 other children and 4 adults there. The kids interacted so nicely and the adults all wore masks in the play area. When our session was over, the staff surprised us with a cupcake and sang happy birthday. It was so sweet. While we were eating our treat, Tierney and Camille immediately got to work cleaning off the entire play area. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the owner and staff were. This place is so cute, great concept!!! I love that the kids can have a blast doing their own thing in a safe monitored environment that's supervised by staff, while moms can work on their computers, have a grown up drink or coffee/tea. My one complaint which is a rather hearty one for me is that it seems a bit grimy in the play place. All of the toys had a film on them and my daughter (who is not crawling bc she is almost 2) hands were black!!! It could use a good scrubbing and the toys need to be sanitized desperately!!!! read more

Incredible space for both children and adults!! I would give it over 5 stars if I could! We went with our one year old babies and they loved it - and so did we! It was a perfect way to combine having brunch (with cocktails wine and beer) while allowing the babies to have a space to roam and explore. There were several different sections of the play area, each with its unique set ups. The food was also delicious and they had a wide variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. My son loves to come to Social Play Haus. We always bring our friends and family with children to play here for a few hours when they come visit. The owners are so kind and nice, they always are pleasant to talk to.
