They handled it like champs one guy particular I wish I would've got his name, but he knew it was up. The first thing I wanted was the color blue, but they didn't have my size but no problem. He jumped on. It gave me some helpful advice and found the size I wanted in black and that will work too, so I grabbed those. He took care of six people managed to get to me as he could see. I couldn't walk very well in no time flat. I had my new pair of Nike slip on slippers in the deal was incredible. I saved 20%. The store is good. Nice job.!!

Camping gear, sporting goods, beach gear, bikes, coolers, bags and much more! Prices can be a little steep, but they carry good brands. Had to wait a little in the check out line before they brought out another cashier out, bur when I was finally helped the cashier was very friendly and professional. Loved how easy it is to search their stock online!

With that said, once inside, they do a great job of stocking as much as possible given that this is a slightly smaller Big 5 location than others. I always make a point of coming to this location first because chances are checkout lines will be shorter and then if they don't have what I'm looking for I go up the street to the Granada Hills location. Staff here is also very friendly. They tend to only be at the register and aren't wandering around the store a ton, but I've also never really needed help finding things as the store is very well laid out and intuitive. Prices are fine. Nothing amazing, but they're better priced than other big box sporting good store chains so, once again, this is always our first stop for gear for our 3 growing kids & their youth sports gear. If you give them your email you'll get a weekly email with some good deals that often are catered to whatever sport season is about to start as well which I greatly appreciate. If not, chances are you'll get a coupon in the mail for 20% off or $5 off a purchase of $20 or more. So always keep an eye out for one of those if you know you are going to need to buy anything.

Then I exchanged for another one, get hone and it doesn't even work. I called the store to speak to him and again kept cutting me off mid sentence trying to get me off the phone. I said as a manager this is very unprofessional and he then proceeded to give me attitude and say he doesn't care. Then I said I will be calling corporate and writing a review about his behavior on Yelp and his treatment of me as a customer and he said he doesn't care what I do as it's his last day anyway and it really doesn't matter to him. Then he got sarcastic and said do what you need to do and hung up the phone on me! This is unbelievable that a manager of a store would treat a customer like this! Not acceptable and so unprofessional. Will never be shopping at Big 5 again!

This location is a bit out of the way for us and further than other Big 5 locations, but we always know that they are going to have anything we need. The best part about my visit was Brenda's knowledgeable and effective assistance. Brenda answered my questions with ease, clear familiarity and confidence. It was impressive. I left with a BB gun that is a replica of the Glock 19X--which I didn't even know was available. I am very happy with my purchase. 5 stars.

From the second we walked in, I was really surprised as how much they had inventory wise. They definitely had a little something for everyone. From jerseys to artwork to cards of all interests. They've got you covered. I haven't collected cards since maybe the early 90s so I don't know if the prices are good, but they seemed like they were on par with what you would be paying these days. Staff was...ok. It took awhile for one of the employees to acknowledge my sons who were patiently waiting to be helped. Instead they were focused on a group of of about 3 other people just chatting away about something or another. When they finally did address us, they seemed a bit confused by the vouchers, but eventually went in the back and brought out some 'pull night' packs for baseball and a few extra NBA cards for good measure. I appreciated that they gave out a little extra to some very appreciative kids. Parking is really the only major drawback. It's a small lot and there's only really one in and out. Be prepared to either wait a bit for a spot or finding street parking and walking.

They are selling replica jerseys that you could buy online for $60 more than the original price. But regardless of that, I wanted to buy a Korea jersey but also saw a Spain jersey that cause my eye. I asked the lady for the authentic version and she said they didn't have any and that all the Spain jerseys put on display is what they have. I asked how much and she said $150 with no nameset and $200 with nameset. Wow. Those prices are already crazy as it is. So as I'm going through the jerseys, I find an authentic one hidden in there and it says $150 on the tag. Ok fine, I'll pay your ridiculous $150 cause I do like it and wanted it quick. I put it up at the counter and keep looking for the Korea jersey. I found one and there is a $30 price difference between a XXL and a XXXL? I bring them both up and tell the lady how is the exact same jersey $30 off just because of size? I ask her if she can honor the $30 off as it's only 1 size smaller. She gives a mumbojumbo answer not fully agreeing but says if I see that tag that's the price. Ok, I tell her I'll take both jerseys if I can get the Korea one for $30 off. She agrees and all is good. Then she rings me up and as she's looking at the jersey she all of a sudden says wait nvm the Spain jersey is $200 actually. Wtf???!!?!! I told her how? You just told me it was $150 and the tag says $150. Funny, what happened to "if I see the tag price" lmao. She says because she didn't know that it was authentic so now that she's aware it's authentic it's an extra $50. I asked her how can she not know her own merchandise and try to take back her word of $150 plus the tag says $150? She says that due to demand and because of the World Cup it has to be $200. I tell her that's not good business to tell me one price and the tag to say it and for you to not honor it regardless of it being the World Cup or not. This is standard at even corporate stores. I try to negotiate with her and say that I'm willing to strike a deal where I'll take both jerseys for $250 flat. I basically said I'll take them both at original price and lose the $30 off the Korea jersey. She says no way and that she's not open to any negotiation. I explained to her that $250 is literally just $20 off what she's asking and no taxes. She says I don't care and that she's standing firm on $270 plus tax. At this point, she wasn't acting in good faith so I told her she can keep them both and I hope the owner is aware she's botching a deal where they could make $250 over a measly $20. She said that they're sure they can sell for asking price. I told her lady the World Cup is over in 1 week, your practice business in bad faith we and are trying to take advantage of your customers. I hope the owner reads this so I can say: get some employees who can conduct real business and trying to take advantage of your customers in such a gross fashion because of an event that's ongoing is disgraceful. Not honoring your original price and the tag on the price to try to profit an extra $50 is gross. You are not for soccer fans and should be blacklisted by real soccer fans. Have fun scamming ignorant tourists who fall for your crap.

Prices are a tad high, but this is normal with this kind of merchandise. The selection was very good so I found what I needed. Customer service was very good, the gentleman working here was nice and helpful. Great resource, easy to find, easy to shop at. In and out pretty fast, pleasant shopping experience!
