I'm writing this review to shout out Froy in the bike department!!! He is the MVP! My derailleur was whack and he fixed it so quickly. It gets quite busy at the bike department (esp in the summer with kids wanting to get out with new bikes!). Froy also took the time to teach me the mechanics of the bike that I'll never forget since I want to try to maintain my bike myself. I highly recommend becoming a REI member if you aren't already one! Amazing perks such as discounts all the time and you get a return warranty up to 1 year instead of the 90 days. I also like their credit card which gives you 5% back! If you already know you're a regular customer for REI, why not! You'll also get higher cash back on full priced items too. If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I brought my graduation stole to T-Shirt Source in Daly City for embroidery and even paid extra to expedite the order from the normal 7 days to 3-5 days because my graduation was coming up. The day before I was supposed to pick it up, they called me and told me they had "lost" my stole. Instead of taking accountability, they told me to go buy another stole myself and that they would embroider the replacement "on the spot." I ended up taking time off work trying to deal with this mess, and to make things worse, I could barely even get ahold of the store while trying to figure out what was going on. When I asked if they could at least reimburse me for losing my stole, they told me they couldn't because they were "no longer making a profit" off my order. There was little to no apology, no urgency, and absolutely no professionalism. Then after all the back and forth, they suddenly "found" my stole and told me to come pick it up at 5:30. It became pretty obvious that they never actually lost it -- they just lied about it to buy themselves more time. This was one of the most stressful customer service experiences I've had, especially considering this was for a major life event. Really shitty service. I would not recommend trusting them with anything important or time-sensitive.

I worked with Deen who seemed to be responsive and above board until there were difficulties with my order 1. First, they are not in San Jose, when I finally received my package it was in a dinged up box from Pakistan. I thought I was buying locally, but when I asked to come into the store I was given the run around that it was no longer in San Jose, but somewhere in Burlingame and I was strongly discouraged to come into the shop. That should have been my first clue. 2. I paid $2000 for 32 baseball jerseys which I was purchasing for my son's Marine platoon. I was required to pay upfront and when I asked what if something was wrong, I was assured that they would rectify anything that wasn't perfect. My bad for believing them, don't ever pay in full upfront. 3. Worst of all was the quality of the shirts. I had purchased one for myself, by husband and my other son as well and, thank goodness, I washed them before I sent the rest to Japan. There was white crud all over the shirts because the backing on the decals had not been removed. When I sent pictures I was told they had used a new vendor to make them and would remake them with the new vendor. Wanting my son's team to get the shirts by the time they arrived back in Okinawa from deployment, I spent 20 minutes per shirt painstakingly removing the backing, not perfect, but better than nothing. There were other issues as well: Poorly made button holes, loose threads everywhere, glue where it shouldn't be. 4. After sending a lot of pictures of the poor quality I was told they would remake the order with the new "better vendor". I have been calling every week for the last 3 months and they have been telling me they were waiting for the decals, or they had to change vendors again, etc. I opened my email this morning to an email from them saying that they are unable to remake my order because they cannot make it any better. In conclusion, if I had it to do over again I would absolutely not purchase from NBN Sports. They do terrible work and are completely shady.

He promised delivery dates, and while the first shipment came on time, it was completely wrong. He offered to fix it, but that's when everything went downhill. Shipments kept coming incorrect, double orders were sent, items were missing, and the product was still not what I had ordered. After months of back-and-forth -- with our basketball season already in its final weeks -- we finally received everything. In the meantime, I had to spend thousands of dollars just to give my team something to wear for tournaments because NBN failed to deliver. I lost a lot of money and NBN did nothing to make it right. Despite all this, my rep tried his best and eventually got the first order finished. Then he called and said, "Let me show you we can make it right." Against my better judgment, I gave them another chance. This time I ordered branded clothing and custom-designed shorts. I received samples (not perfect, but close enough), so I placed another large order in June -- spending thousands of dollars again. Since then, I have received nothing. No product, no refund, no communication. Deen has since left the company, likely because of how poorly management operates. Before he left he assured me the refund would happen but given management he was ignored as well. Guy Irmy has refused to pay me back. I've been told he was instructed not to communicate with me and to simply ignore me until I went away. Meanwhile, NBN keeps the money. At this point, I've had to get a lawyer involved and would welcome anyone else who has been scammed by them to join in legal action. They also run under different business names, which I'll add here later. Do not do business with NBN Sports. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and exploit their customers. Absolutely horrible business! Their Sales people are very rude and hard to be reached to get info,…read moreas they are hardly every in the office. When you do call to get information no one ever seems to know what is going on with your order. Several orders were done incorrectly with no real reason to why they were. The owner, Cheryl, got extremely crabby on the phone when I called to complain. On one occasion I had even walked into the office as they were talking badly about a previous customer, Sleepy Hollow, and how difficult they were to work with. Very unprofessional! I would never recommend using them. They are horribly overpriced! You might as well use another local business or go through an online store like Custom Ink or Teespring.
