Costumer service was great! Found MEXICO jerseys a for today's game! MEXICO VS SOUTH KOREA! they have a few left, get them while you can!

I have been here about 4 times to size and pick up soccer uniforms for my son. They were super helpful and accommodating at every visit. They did not try sell extra items. In fact, I was persuaded not to get anything extra. Love this place! read more

Good service, good stuff and great location! The owner is really friendly. We will for sure be back.

We visited this store during the week so it wasn't busy. In fact we were the only ones in the store yet the staff did not acknowledge us, ask if we needed help, nothing. Besides the lack of customer service, this store was a mess. It is unorganized and boxes are stacked everywhere. It was hard to look around yet alone find what we were looking for due to the mess. Never again! There are better soccer stores in the east bay. read more

Great supply store for all soccer needs. Jerseys were made with quick turnaround. Excellent and knowledgeable customer service.

Soccer Post sent me a Youth Jersey vs an Adult. Took over 2 months to even get them to start on the process of fixing their mistake and then they didn't have any in stock to give us the correct size and is now making us pay full price to get the correct sized jersey we originally ordered once it becomes available. Extremely disappointed with their customer service and wish I could take my business elsewhere. This is all on top of the full kit being delayed and not arriving till 7 weeks after order date when the timeline is promised within 30 days if order. read more

We feel so lucky to have Soccer Post in our local area. Tom is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He is a seasoned pro with all things soccer gear related. We can always count on the Soccer Post to make sure our players are well equipped each and every season. Professional knowledge and service is unrivaled and cannot be found online or at a big-box store. Support a local business, support Alameda Soccer Post. You will be well taken care of. read more

My grandson was fitted with a size 3 ball, soccer shoes, socks, and even a mouth guard. He's 4 years old and we returned to pick up his uniform for the East Bay Soccer Club. Terrific service and well versed in the needs of younger soccer played. Great inventory too. read more

This review is long over due. My family and I have been going to soccer post for a few years now and this past year, I've frequently visited the store to make multiple purchases for my daughter's soccer team. The store always has good inventory of items we need and if not, they are always more than happy to place an order to get the items in the store as soon as possible. Our shopping experience has always been great! Tom and his staff are extremely helpful and provide excellent customer service. Tom is wonderful to work with. He has great communication and follow through; may it be via phone or email. What I love is how personable he is and how passionate he is about soccer and the soccer community he and his staff support. Thank you Tom and staff! read more

Knowledgeable, personal service. The proprietor Tom can track gift certificates one has purchased, even in the following year, even if one does not any longer have the certificates in hand. As wide a selection one can expect to get in one fotbol/soccer/football gear store. read more

I just want to say that the staff was amazing, very knowledgeable, helpful, professional, kind and not pushy. They allow you to decide what you want to purchase for yourself, but as soon as you have a question about any product they can tell you everything you need to know and things you didn't even think about. I would love for everyone to go try out the store and get the experience that I was so lucky to receive. This will be the only store that I will be shopping at for my soccer needs. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime Soccer Post Team you all are amazing read more

Like many Alamedan families, they have always been there when we needed something. I coached U8 one year, and they walked me through the whole process - gear, gloves, balls and more. This is my Christmas five star for five Alameda business review. read more

Awesome spot to get all your soccer needs . The owner is always there and is always very helpful ! Love this spot and it's my to go place to go to play soccer in Alameda ! read more

When we asked questions, the owner had a negative response. Everyone has a bad day, but when i called yesterday he was also very unpleasant. When we went ordered and paid things were fine. hope the league considers using a friendly,,responsive and approachable supplier in the future. read more

Back for cleats for ultimate frisbee bc my son outgrew his. And once again, Tom was great and really went above and beyond to help me find the right fit, especially given the fact that this is his busy season. Truly a mom n pop local business with all the hood that comes with it! I totally recommend Soccer Post - let's support our small businesses and keep it local!!! read more

Staff assured me that I'd get a call when our soccer uniform arrived. They never called. When I called to check, they were condescending and implied I was being impatient. Except once they actually looked up my order, it had already arrived. read more

Not a great selection. The shop has a large customization area in the back, but there isn't much out on the sales floor.

Such an awesome experience here, especially with the owner, Tom. We first visited this store in March in search for a pair of soccer cleats that we were not able to find anywhere, and Soccer Post was the only store that had it, except they didn't have our size. Tom offered to order online for us and ship it directly to our house with no additional fees - he provided tracking number the same night and it arrived the next day. When we received our soccer cleats, there were some minor issues with the shoes and when we called Tom back, he immediately shipped the new ones to our house with no additional charges just like last time. He was so friendly and kind throughout the entire process. Thank you so much for your efficient and caring service, Tom! read more

If you live in Berkeley, the local sources of soccer-related gear are Big 5 Sporting Goods in El Cerrito, Mary & Joe's Sporting Goods in Albany, and a host of other businesses that specialize in sports (in the plural), but not in any specific sport. If you're willing to travel a bit farther, however, you'll gravitate to the Soccer Post, which has emerged as the best place to buy cleats, backpacks, jerseys and pretty much anything else that's related to soccer. The store is tiny, but the personnel are friendly and well-informed. They probably have exactly what you want. This is the one-stop shop for pretty much all your soccer purchases. read more

What a great little find! Went here a few weeks ago to get new soccer cleats. Had a bit of a hard time finding a comfortable pair at some other shops, as my feet are pretty small and I'm usually in between sizes. Got great help here when I walked in, was recommended several pairs, and ending up loving the first pair I tried on! There was even a discount applied, as we play at Bladium. Will definitely be coming back for any soccer needs going forward! read more

I've been calling this place for days and they DO NOT answer and now it sounds like they turned it off

I am updating a review and am pleased with the products I purchased and time it took. I ordered practice shirts with numbers ironed on the back for my kid. They look great and done with care! Customer service was equally great! read more

Good solid soccer store with helpful, friendly staff. They don't have a huge inventory of soccer gear, but they do have a pretty decent selection of soccer field, turf and indoor shoes. Don't bother wasting your time trying to buy cleats at Sports Authority or Big 5. Always feels good to support a small business rather than a big box store anyway. If you're a new referee, Soccer Post sells a good starter kit. If you want to purchase more referee gear, like rain gear or other shorts, you probably need to look to other sources. read more

Wonderful staff that really help you work through sizing options and know their equipment. Reasonable prices too!

Wasn't quite sure what rating to give, but the fact that I won't be buying here again pulled me towards the solitary star. The staff are great - patient, knowledgeable, etc, but the guy who runs the place seems to have serious difficulties with anger management and providing civil customer service. I bought some turf shoes, played ten minutes on them and realized they were wrong for me, and took them back to the store. Conversation went something like this: "Have you worn them?" "Yes, but..." "Have you worn them, yes or no?!" "Yes, I did for a short time, but.." "Have you worn them, yes or no, YES OR NO!" He then went on to say that shoes had to be returned "unused, just like it says on the receipt". I looked at the receipt, "Where does it say that on the receipt?" He looked at the receipt. Silence. Then he began to yell, "I am not in the business of RENTING sports equipment!" Anyway, to cut a long story short, I did not get to return the shoes. I realize that anyone can have a bad day, or an off moment, but this seemed to be a kind of active bullying. read more

Soccer post is for the intellectual soccer player. you can find things for men, women, girls, boys. everything from soccer balls to shin guards. the staff is not half bad either. the shoe selection and prices are the best you will find around here. and they take the time to make sure you get the right shoe for you. i have lived in alameda for a year and a half, and i do all my soccer shopping there. the owner tom is a nice guy and the rest of the staff are very helpful, especially the very tall one named jon. soccer post is the place for soccer! P.S.-- they have another store in lafayette. read more

I just started playing indoor soccer and got everything I needed here. Well, almost everything. They didn't have any medium men's soccer shorts. Weird. At least the service was good. Granted my friend and I were the only ones there at the time but it's amazing how many places can screw that up. Also, Bladium Sports Club members get 10% off. Sweet. read more

Every year or so I need to replenish my soccer gear. New boots, new socks shorts etc and every time I have the best experience. Maybe I just get lucky but they always have my size, always super knowledgable about their products and have the best selection around. There's no comparison to the big sports chain. This is a specialty store. Truly great service. read more

Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Gave us the right product, not the most expensive. Answered all of my questions too. It was well worth the drive from San Francisco and I will be back. read more

Soccer Post is sending mass emails to their own customers without an unsubscribe link. This is not only illegal, but just plain unprofessional. Soccer Post, please stop doing this right away! read more

One of the players in my U8 soccer team got a Medium jersey in a kit bag labeled YL purchased by my local soccer club. The player's father notified me, the coach, of the problem. I called SoccerPost and a young lady told me to send email addressed to the owner and that he would see how to resolve the situation. So I sent my email. And this is the response I got from SP, one whole day later: "the size indicated on the bag is irrelevant. " It would have helped to have been told this when I picked up the team's order. Still, how can the distributor of sports wear not verify the contents of its custom orders before its customers pick them up? SoccerPost does have a large and wonderful selection of everything soccer one may want and need. But, at least this one owner, has no sense whatsoever of customer service as a method of sustaining and increasing repeat business. read more

My daughter's soccer team was embarking on a community service/soccer trip to Ghana this past summer. As part of their trip, the girls wanted to organize a gently used equipment drive. Tom at the Soccer Post was elated to help. He allowed the girls to leave a bin for donations which was filled numerous times. In addition to helping with the drive, Tom donated dozens of new cleats, pinnies, etc. What a great experience for the girls who went to Ghana and even better for the wonderful children in Ghana who received the donations. Thank you for your soccer knowledge and for your generosity!! read more

Best place to go if you want some real soccer equipement /selection. Staff helping me have always been actual soccer players which is nice. Best advice / input on soccer boots you are going to find Ask about packages and discounts. I coach and they have always offered good loyalty deals for my players Cons are Minor. Stock can sometimes be up or down. Place can be disorganized. Don't have a good selection of balls for some reason! (I consider an exciting selection of balls to be decor in a soccer shop.) Have had to shop online for balls read more

The staff are great and are always available to help with questions.

Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Seriously excellent customer service. Also, the prices were fantastic

Tom at Soccer Post did a great job completing our team's uniform order, even after I made an error and requested an exchange and return. Tom was generous and flexible, and responsive (by email and phone). And the turn-around time was fast. The other staff vary in their friendliness and knowledge, but ultimately, they came through. I would definitely go to SP for soccer-related items. read more

Ok for the most part but not really big and doesn't have all the expensive cleats. Other than that its good.
