I have had the pleasure of doing business with SoCal storage for close to three years. The staff is friendly, informative, and the units are all so safe and secure. I highly recommend this place for your storage needs! A huge thank you to Eddie for making my last day there with comfort and ease. Thank you to Jackie as well for your help throughout the years there. Highly recommended! Thanks again to all who assisted me! read more

Bobby helped me get the exact unit and price I wanted 5 stars I Highly recommend this facility

I had a unit here for several years, just moved out to get a place closer to my house. Everything was great, staff was always responsive and helpful. Never had any security issues, and I was always able to find a cart to move stuff, and also gate was always open according to the posted hours. I would recommend SoCal Self Storage. read more

Extremely happy with So Cal Storage in Simi Valley. The Office manager Jackie and her coworker Connie I think her name or I should refer to her as the blonde lady, were always very helpful and nice. Very professional, along with that the units are clean and secure. I wohld definitely recommend and use them again if I need it in the future. Thank you for a good experience. read more

Clean storage units. Great staff. Best storage facilities in Simi Valley Affordable prices spacious units love this place

I had the best customer experience with Jackie. She was thorough in explaining the prices and showing me the units and got me the best possible deal. I love the location, which is conveniently located by the freeway. I highly recommend this place :) read more

We checked around a few places and this location was absolutely hands down the best. Brad was very helpful and knowledgeable with amazing customer service skills. He made us feel very welcome and appreciated us as new customers who recently moved to the area. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a safe, secure, and top notch storage facility to go with this location and again ask for Brad! read more

Nice facility but feel like it's over priced. For the price we pay, I feel they should have AC in the building where they house everyone's belonging. I remember going there during the summer and I was sweating so bad going through all my stuff. read more

My experience with So Cal Self Storage was great. Jackie was wonderful to work with. It was easy to get in and out to my unit and the area was always well maintained. The only reason I cancelled my unit was because I moved my office out of my house and freed up a lot of space at home and didn't need a storage. If I ever need one again I will certainly use So Cal Self Storage. read more

I thought this place was a great place to store my belongings while I was looking for a new place. The staff seems friendly, there are plenty of cameras, there are carts to move things, and the pricing seemed fair. However!... I finally have a new place to live and the gate is locked. I know its a holiday (new years). I fully expected the office to be closed. Why close the gate? What's the point of having a safe place to store things if you can't get to it when you actually need to? read more

I came here looking for storage, and I left with so much more in my life. My business had closed down in San Diego and I didn't know if I was moving to Ventura County or Los Angeles County. I found a beautiful home in Thousand Oaks, but I wouldn't be able to move in for several months. I came across this place by chance as I was in the area, and I was impressed with everything I saw. Additionally, I got the first two months half off, which was perfect since that was enough time for me to get everything else sorted. While I had my stuff in storage (which I needed two full units for), I was always able to access my belongings whenever I needed to. There was never any problems with any of the furniture I kept there, and the manager Jacquelyn reserved the storage moving van for me at no extra cost. Jacquelyn was always pleasant when I needed something, and she always asked me about how my business and move was going. The day I finally moved into my house and to take my stuff out of storage was both happy and sad. Sad because I was leaving my friends at SoCal Storage that had supported me every step of the way during my move, but happy because a new chapter of my life was about to begin, and I had memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. read more

I needed a storage fast and was calling around and stopped when i called and spoke to Jackie because of her great customer service! She informed me as to why this place was the best, told me about the great promotions, and convinced me to go with them! Move in went well and i recommend this place! Thank you, Jackie!!! read more

Please is clean and maintained. I think they could extend hours is all and be a little bit more attentive in the office

I've had a storage unit here since 2016. Ive been working with Jackie since early 2018 when I had to get a smaller unit. She has always been so great to work with. Very helpful and always friendly. I love how clean everything is. The staff is always amazing. I highly recommend getting a storage unit here. Ask for Jackie. She's truly the best! read more

Very unhappy!!! The only reason I went with So Cal was their use of their free moving van. But it's never available. When I moved into the storage unit there was no van available and now that I'm moving out a year later it's again "not available". I went in a month ago to talk to the girl at the front desk about booking the van. She said not to worry and call about 10days prior to book it. Which was a lie. There are other problems as well. Like they have a huge insect problem and all my stuff is covered in bugs. I had to spray my boxes before moving out to not infest my new home. I pointed the bugs out to the girl at the front and she just ignored me. Not to mention that the price just kept going up and up the entire year I've been there. read more

Hands down the best facility in Simi. Jessica the manager is always so helpful and quick. She made our transaction so effortless. She even let us use the moving van free of charge to move in and she gave us a discount on our unit. The facility is clean and they have carts for you to use. I will come back here again when I need a storage facility. read more

I just started renting a unit here and I must say, it's very clean, very secure with multiple cameras and a key code to enter and leave. All the units are easy to get to for unloading. The dollys are also large, clean and well maintained so they make your job easier. The temperature of the units is perfect because they are isolated so they stay at a good stable room temperature. Ryan the manager was absolutely great in every way and that was a big determination in picking this place over another space in Simi. Ryan explained everything so well and did not waste our time, never pushy, never rude, never condescending, very organized and very clear and upfront about all the fees and discount specials. I wish most businesses had a gem like this guy working for them! read more

Great place for storage, friendly staff I had my stuff in storage for 4 years. If you fall behind they will work with you. The facility is very clean. Did I mention how friendly the staff are I would rent here before I would go anywhere else . read more

If you're ok with your belongings being permeated with cigarette smoke, then this place is perfect for you. If not, stay away. It seemed like a great place at first -- gated, plenty of cameras, tidy outward appearance, but it ended up being anything but. My first clue should have been how filthy the unit was once I moved in with the bits of trash, clumps of hair and dust, and leaves(in an inside unit!) all over the floor. I contacted management immediately about the cigarette smell in my unit and was told they have no other units available for me to transfer to and they could not refund me whatsoever if I move my things out, even though I had just paid rent 2 days prior to my discovery. I ended up moving out ASAP regardless to prevent further damage to my belongings and am now happily at another, better facility in town where I can access my things 365 days a year AND after 7PM. What a concept! I'm actually glad this happened as I ended up with a storage facility that I feel much safer at with an amazingly wonderful manager. No wonder SoCal storage is so cheap and attracts such shady tenants. You definitely get what you pay for! read more

I have been a customer of So Cal Self Storage in Simi Valley for several years now. There are many choices for storage needs, but they are the best! This place is ridiculous. Had a problem on the website, guy at location cannot figure it out. Claims will call be back. Does not. I have to call back. Woman explains ten dollar a MONTH hike for mandatory insurance. That is a scam. It was never important to them before this point. I protest and the employee tells me, if I pay the new fee THIS month, NEXT month it will be back at the regular rate. Another scam. Low and behold, this month, same increased rate. No notes on the account, no empathy, no apology, just screw you, pay the new rate. The rate we made up, because we want more profit. This person took no accountability, claims she will speak to her staff. Just a horrible way to do business and treat customers that have been around for ten years. read more

Excellent service! Super convenient and helpful. Ryan was super nice and helped us out.

Went here to get a personal & company unit and was impressed. I had a lot of questions and often make things difficult But the gentlemen working was named Joe or John I can't recall. He was fantastic, he took time to write down all my questions and answered each one. I wanted two units but we couldn't find two close to each other. Joe called when a unit opened up near the one I had a week later. The place is clean and customer service was great. Thanks Joe!! read more

Friendly knowledgeable staff, nice amenities , clean property. Reasonable rates compared to competitors.

I have rented a storage unit here for several years. The staff is very nice. Jackie, the manager, has always been extremely helpful and accommodating. The units are good size, the halls are well lit, monitored, and the place is kept at a nice temperature. I have rented at other larger facilities before and these units are more easily accessible. There are rolling carts to move your things and a moving truck is available to move in. My daughter also rented a unit here when she needed it for a few months and was very satisfied. I would highly recommend this facility. read more

I had an amazing experience from a genuine great person today! I showed up to SoCal Storage on Cochran around 5:30pm today, the sign said open so I walked in. The gentleman who was getting ready to leave said, "sorry sir but we are closed". Closed but the sign says that your open! He said, no we close at 5! I had called yesterday and a lady said you closed at 6 and I need to book my storage unit for an upcoming move! He looked at me and said, do me a favor flip my sign around and let's get your storage unit rented... I couldn't believe what I just heard! You know just when I thought there were no more good people in this miserable state, I found one! Mr Ryan Doyle, you sir are a true asset to the company you work for! You are obviously the general manager because you treat people like they matter! Thank you Mr. Ryan Doyle! You single handily made my day and week that much better, thank you so much!! I can't say it enough, thank you, thank you, thank you!! RYAN DOYLE ROCKS!! read more
