His office arranged to have me seen by Dr. Kosins immediately. Dr. Kosins identified the problem which was an encapsulated breast implant and was able to have me scheduled for surgery the following week. I was very skeptical about undergoing surgery because I have severe sleep apnea and a vocal cord paralysis. Dr. Kosins provided me with words of reassurance, which gave me the confidence to move forward with the procedure. The surgery went forward without any complications, and my pain decreased significantly. Now it is totally gone. Dr. Kosins was very knowledgeable about complications with breast implants and handled the situation brilliantly. I am very pleased with my results. His office staff is also very friendly and professional. The post operative care provided by his staff was top notch. I would recommend Dr. Kosins to anyone who is considering undergoing breast surgery and anyone who is experiencing issues with breast implants. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the outcome of my breast augmentation and with the level of follow-up support afterward. I had surgery on May 5, 2025. Around 4-5 months post-op, I began noticing significant asymmetry developing. By the time I returned for my follow-up appointment in September, the issue had already become very noticeable. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in. As a patient navigating an upsetting complication less than a year after surgery, that absence of communication left me feeling unsupported and alone in the process. I never expected perfection, and I understand complications can happen with any surgery. But when complications do occur, communication, reassurance, and aftercare matter just as much as the surgery itself. Patients deserve to know not only how successful outcomes are handled, but also how they are supported when results do not go as planned.

I had previously been told by another surgeon that I would need a breast lift to get the result I wanted, but I really did not want the additional scars or a lift if it wasn't absolutely necessary. Dr. Ip took the time to evaluate my anatomy and gave me another option that made much more sense for me. We ultimately went with Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle/subfascial, without a lift, and I am SO happy that I trusted him. My surgery and recovery were honestly easier than I ever expected. I had very minimal pain, never needed the prescription pain medication, and felt extremely well taken care of throughout the entire process. I'm now several weeks out and already love my results more and more as everything continues to settle. They look beautiful, feminine and proportionate to my body, which was exactly what I wanted. What I appreciated most about Dr. Ip was that I never felt pressured or like there was only one "correct" option. He listened to my concerns, worked with my anatomy and my goals, and ultimately gave me the result I was hoping for without putting me through a procedure I didn't want. He even handled my court case and made $15,000 off of that which we lost the case and we are in debt from all of my nose surgeries. I had emailed him about an estimate for my nose, it was around $30,000. I had my consultation once again after the waited time period, we talked about fixing the holes (dents in my nose from missing cartilage), and fixing the irregularities. I booked the non refundable deposit of $1,000 after meeting with him and scheduled the surgery thinking the quote would similar to what he quoted me on email. The receptionist (I can't say names on yelp), sent me a quote of $187,050. I was floored. I lost the deposit money and we can't afford almost $200,000 for a nose job. I am filled with so many questions of why? Where did we get so lost? My emails are ignored now. I lost the money to the lawyer to the last surgeon who botched me, we're in debt from 4 surgeries that botched me, and I put all my eggs in one basket as to the hope for him to fix me for good. We can't even get a loan for $200,000. I'm really down and absolutely shocked that he said he would help me, but surprised me with a price tag that's insurmountable for what we can afford. It's saddening. My hope is gone for surgeons. They're greedy and money hungry. I hope this review gets him to read what emotional toll this has taken on me, and to think before you charge a patient $200,000 to fix irregularities on their nose. I'm no millionaire or billionaire, I'm a mom raising a toddler who has had a really hard time looking in the mirror. I wish he would have kept his word. Only God will judge us at the end as to how we treated those in need of help but couldn't afford a quarter million dollars to get it.

I first came across Dr. Nykiel on Instagram. I followed him and researched his work for a couple of years. I really like that he likes to educate his audience on plastic surgery. When I contacted his office for a consultation I immediately felt like the atmosphere in his office was very positive. When I went in for consultation I came to find out that my initial feelings were correct. His staff is amazing and they made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Nykiel had such great energy when he came in to talk to me during orientation. I felt like I was being heard and never felt like he was pushing me towards the surgery. When they called me to book my appointment, everything went so smoothly. Tamantha was so helpful and she explained every step of the way. Day of surgery my nurse Amber was so friendly and had such a positive attitude it made me feel really good about the surgery. My experience afterwards was also great. It wasn't like they forgot about me now that the procedure was over. I got texts the next few days of the staff, doctor, and anesthesiologist checking up on me and how the healing process was going. After months of searching for a doctor I felt comfortable with, I decided to go with Dr. Nykiel for my bbl after seeing a friend of mine who informed me she had gone to him also, and was going back for a second round. I had no idea she had any work done, and I wanted to make sure I still looked natural myself. I felt so much better knowing she had gone to him, that he was a recognizable doctor with great reviews, and a national/international trainer for Vaser Lipo. For months I was indecisive on whether or not I wanted to go ahead with a fat transfer or just lipo. I had my procedure done with Dr. Nykiel 11 days ago, and I'm so happy with my results and my shape. I did 360 lipo (stomach, flanks, back) plus thighs, arms and my chin with a fat transfer. Even while still swollen and bruised I can tell my shape is amazing, my size of my butt / hips is perfect and not overly done, everything looks so natural and it's the body I've been working years in the gym to perfect but was never obtainable for me. Was using my hubby's Yelp, decided to make my own. Dr Nykiel and his staff ROCK!!! I had my breast replaced today after 10 years and I'm literally in no pain! My implants were 10 years old and I was scared to replace them because I loved my implants there wasn't anything wrong just felt like they were beginning to sag after 10 years of dancing and wearing no support. I'm so happy I can instantly see how fuller and round and higher they are. There's so many different implants now from 10 years ago. I went with a soft firm and the ultra high performance. Dr. Nykiel and his staff are simply amazing. Shanna is awesome. She worked with my busy schedule and was sooo accommodating. They even squeezed me in as soon as possible since I had some upcoming time off of work. During consultation, I felt so comfortable with Dr. Nykiel. he explained everything in great detail and gave me realistic expectations according to my body type. Day of surgery, I was extremely nervous but the nurse and anesthesiologist quickly calmed my nerves. After I got home from surgery Dr. Nykiel text me to make sure that I was doing well. Dr Nykiel by far is the best plastic surgeon I have been too. I had a breast augmentation done 5 years ago with a DIFFERENT surgeon and never felt comfortable with that Dr. I then went to Dr Nykiel for a more personal procedure and will never see anyone else. I have been a patient of Dr. Nykiel's for about two years now. I have had a few different procedures done by him, and each time I am impressed with his professionalism, bedside manner, kindness and his ability to make me so comfortable getting these procedures done. He has also done my Botox and I absolutely loved my results! His staff is so welcoming and professional. Hands down the best plastic surgeon I have used. I had a bbl and 360 , before going with dr. Nykiel I had seen other plastic surgeons. But none of them made me feel like they were going to do the job as I expected . After seeing dr. Nykiel i knew he was the doctor for me he answered all my questions no matter how dumb I thought they were he answered them. The day of surgery he came in and went over everything with me again. After surgery I went home and later that night he called to make sure all was well .( How many doctors do that?). Now fast forward I'm 4 months out and I love my butt it's round and full and my hips..... well I have hips now lol . My body looks better now then before I had my baby's. I went to go see three different doctors before I chose Dr. Nykiel for my procedure (butt implants) and I am so glad that I chose him! He and his staff (Tamantha, Kayla, and Erica) are awesome, and made me feel comfortable and always took my calls, no matter how annoying I got! I went in there for one procedure and was so in love with the staff +Dr. Nykiel-- the care and the results, that I booked two other different procedures (botox and j-plasma for arms). Wanted to do more (j-plasma for legs) but he refused as he said I didn't need it, which honestly made me respect him a lot more as he was honest and wasn't only in it for the money, but the overall look and wellness of his patients! I quickly booked my date that same day and here we are 3 weeks out from Surgery and I'm Loving my results! I did a Tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Life on the same day. Dr Nykiel is unequivocally the best plastic surgeon in all of Southern California. I am a physician, myself, under a different name to protect the nature of my surgery, and I can tell you that I am a perfectionist. Dr Nykiel is legit an artist! I struggled for years with gaining and losing weight. None of my clothes were fitting properly and it was to the point where I was avoiding even leaving my house. I heard his ad on the radio and booked my consultation. He was very friendly and honest about potential results and expectations. I booked my surgery and it was a breeze. The staff was very caring. I loved that the anesthesiologist called before hand to introduce herself and called to check on me after surgery, as well as Dr Nykiel and his staff. As far as my results, I'm beyond happy. I went to him for two different procedures and both times my experience with the office and staff, obviously including Dr. Nykiel were outstanding. while Dr. Nykiel is extremely proficient and experienced at his craft, it is the office staff that really push his practice over the edge! After a long process of searching for board certified plastic surgeons, I met with Dr. Nykiel and it was easy to make my decision to move forward and have my procedures done with him. He was informative, experienced and overall had a great personality ( this is important for comfort). He answered ALL of my questions at my consult, the day of surgery and was easy to reach after surgery. He gave me reasonable expectations but his work and my results were far better than expected! My mom recently had a BBL and lipo 360 with Dr. Nykiel and she looks so beautiful! From the very first appointment my mom has had she's been treated with such care. Even my dad has complimented on how nice the dr and staff are (not to mention how beautiful my mom looks). This was my second BBL, my first with another Dr. Though I received amazing results with first Doctor, after some time of not working out, my butt started to lose its shape and fat originally taken out returned. Not as bad, but it does come back. Dr Nykiel is a genius! He perfected my shape and added more fat to my hips, giving me more of an hourglass figure. His price was even more reasonable to which if I can go back in time, I would have originally just went to him. All the staff was amazing, too! I could not be anymore happier with my results. Typically, you're advised to meet with multiple surgeons before making a decision since surgery is a serious commitment, but Dr. K was actually the first and only consultation I did. I immediately felt comfortable with him and his staff right off the bat. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Dr. Kelishadi took the time to thoroughly evaluate my anatomy and recommended the Preservé technique with Motiva implants. He explained that I had natural asymmetry and suggested two different implant profiles (demi and full) with a 65cc difference to create better balance. I truly appreciated his honest, thoughtful approach and I am so glad I trusted his expertise because I am very happy with my results. One of my biggest hesitations about breast augmentation was fear of going under general anesthesia. The Preservé technique itself is incredible because it uses IV sedation and local anesthesia instead, and the downtime was only a few days. He answers every single question I have -- whether it's over text, FaceTime, or in person. If I want to stop by the office, he gets me in right away. His bedside manner is unmatched, and I've felt 100% comfortable and cared for every step of the way. I'd…read morelike to start by saying that the office staff was always very kind. 360 TUMMY TUCK: 7/10 For the most part, I am still very happy with the tummy tuck procedure. I did have a complicated recovery with necrosis of the belly button, but you would not be able to tell now. My scars are alright, I've definitely seen much better... but I tattooed over mine anyway so it didn't matter much to me. However, during the consultation I made it a huge point that there was a part of my lower back that I was very unhappy with. Dr K documented and explained that it would be lipo'd and he would excise it if necessary. I have a scar in the area, but it looks like it wasn't touched AT ALL. Definitely no lipo in the area, just a normal tummy tuck scar, but it doesn't go all the way under the area of concern. So it looks like he left it untouched. When I brought this up at my several post op appointments, he told me to wait a year. After a year, he brushed it off. I am now left with this incredibly awkward small lump right above my butt crack that has left me incredibly insecure. BREAST IMPLANTS AND NIPPLE LIFT: 1/10 I already had breast tissue (about a 36 C) but deflated after weight loss. I really wanted to fill them back up and make them perky again. Because of how deflated they were, I was expecting to get a breast lift, which other surgeons also mentioned to me. During the consultation, Dr K was very adamant that he would NOT do a lift, because I was in my early 20's. His reasoning was that they would need to be redone after I had kids... so I told him that I do not plan to have children. He told me that I might change my mind - which is absolutely NOT for him to decide or even have a say in. He told me he could do a nipple lift on my right side and it would make them look even and perky without the lift. I trusted him. My nipple is now OVAL ladies. OVAL. Completely mismatched. Extremely embarrassing. I also have had rippling, it feels like the implants are underfilled. I can literally crunch the bags and you can see it. When I lay down, they go to the side completely and my chest is flat. When I bend forward, they droop and look absolutely disgusting. I was also very concerned about the left breasts shifting so much to the side when I work out, that it completely deforms and pulls the bag. He told me "you can't work out your chest." This was a YEAR after surgery. He literally said I cannot work out, and that was the answer. Six years later and I have extremely heavy, sagging implants that are weighing my chest down. My nipples fall over the crease of my breast, and it's extremely uncomfortable and they've made me feel so embarrassed. I am now having to save money to get the lift that I should have gotten 6 years ago, and hoping that another doctor can fix my nipple and the underlying damage. I will never get these past 6 years back (and the next few years that I spend saving up.) So I hope this saves someone else.

I went to several consultations, but Dr. Brandon and his team truly stood out. They were incredibly caring, comforting, and always available to answer my questions--never making me feel rushed or overlooked. For my breast lift, Dr. Brandon recommended adding small implants to enhance the shape. I was hesitant at first, but now I couldn't be happier with the results. I did experience a very minor issue over a weekend when the sutures under one breast opened slightly. My husband took photos and sent them to the office, and Dr. Richland promptly called to discuss the situation. By Monday morning, I was seen by Nurse Jackie. Thankfully, it was very minor and healed quickly with a little additional care. Because I am diabetic, my scars have taken a bit longer than usual to heal. However, they are thin and already fading to a very light pink. I expect that within a year, they will be white and nearly invisible. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience and results. I'm so grateful to have found such a skilled and compassionate team.

As a beginning, I want to be honest about everything that happened to me and share my full…read moreexperience. In January, I had a labiaplasty performed by Dr. Deborah Ekstrom, MD. After the surgery, she prescribed pain medication (Oxycodone HCl IR 5 mg capsules) for five days. During that time, I had severe constipation and had to go to the ER. On March 3, I went back for a follow-up appointment. During that visit, Dr. Ekstrom also injected hyaluronic acid filler into my labia majora, which cost $1,600. Before the procedure, I asked the doctor if there were any negative side effects and how long the results would last. She told me there were no negative side effects and that the results would last a long time. However, the same day I started feeling something hard, like a small stone. The next day I felt itching and noticed redness. Day by day it became worse. The redness increased, the itching continued, and the area started to look uneven -- the left side looked larger than the right. On March 11, I texted the office manager, Jo Cattell. She was very kind and asked if I wanted to come in that day to see the doctor. I said yes. When I saw Dr. Ekstrom, I first showed her pictures of the redness. She said the pictures looked worse than what she was seeing in person. She also said the redness and swelling might be caused by using an ice pack. However, I do not believe this is the cause. After my labiaplasty surgery, I used ice packs and never had this problem. The symptoms started the same day after the filler injection. I also explained that it hurts when I go to the bathroom. I asked if the filler could be removed, but she told me she could not treat the area right now because it looked like an allergic reaction and that further treatment would cost additional money. She prescribed medication for me to pick up at the pharmacy. I am sharing my full experience because I do not want this to happen to another patient. I work hard for my money, and I do not want to waste it on something that made me feel worse. I do like the results of my labiaplasty, but I do not like the filler injection. It looks uneven and has caused discomfort and illness. If a procedure cannot be done safely, it is better to be honest with patients. People trust their doctors, and I was one of those patients. For fairness, I want to mention that the clinic was very clean. The drive time for me was 1 hour and 40 minutes. Also, two weeks after the surgery I initially left a five-star review. My advice to others is not to write a review until you have had the full experience. Finally, I went to the ER again on March 14, 2026 because my labia majora became worse, with severe itching and swelling. I could not sleep because of the discomfort. Lip Lift & Scar Revision Gone Terribly Wrong…read more In November 2022, I went to this doctor for a lip lift surgery. Before the procedure, I asked if he would draw guidelines on my face to ensure symmetry. His exact response was, "I've done thousands of these. No need to draw on your face." Unfortunately, he ended up cutting diagonally and lifting the wrong side of my lip -- lifting the right instead of the left. This left me with a noticeably crooked, slanted lip. Over the next two and a half years, multiple other doctors even asked if I'd had a stroke because of how uneven my mouth appeared when I spoke. When I returned to show him the results years later, instead of taking responsibility, he repeatedly deflected. He compared my face to crooked ears and eyebrows people are "born with," and even asked me if I was on bipolar medication and whether I had been taking it -- a comment that felt dismissive and irrelevant to the surgical issues I was raising. I explained that my nose and lips were not this crooked before the surgery. I originally sought this procedure only to avoid having to get injections -- not to drastically change my face. He performed a second surgery, a scar revision, which made things even worse. On the right side, he removed part of my nostril, leaving it small and round; on the left side, he reshaped it into a long oval. Now my right nostril collapses, making it hard to breathe. The itching and discomfort, even 2 1/2 months later, are intense and constant. This experience has affected my appearance, my breathing, and my confidence. I am sharing my story so others can make a fully informed decision before choosing this provider. To your response Dr. Bunkis I did try to bring my concerns to you. I even told you that I was in fear of you repairing the first surgery because of the lack of professionalism and technic. And you immediately pointed out that my ears, eyebrows and nostrils are crooked at birth, that I should accept my nose now being disfigured (Half of my entire left nostril has been cut off). It's the one feature on my face (crooked or not) that I loved. You have not taken any accountability for that. I did so much research on a lip lift surgery. It does NOT change the structure of your nose. I tried to bring this to your attention. You made me feel very bad which brought me to tears. It's going to cost me thousand and thousands of dollars to get this repaired. IF it can be! I will never look the same again at 55 years old.
