Really confused by all the positive reviews. The quality of the work was quite low, they dripped paint all over my new floors because they didn't use drop cloths, they got paint all over my fixtures and window panes because they didn't tape anything off before painting. And to top it off, the windows they repaired have already started to fall apart less than 2 months later. :/ read more

I wanted to hire someone local and David was quick on coming out to give a free estimate. He has a friendly and professional demeanor. We recently hired SoCal Painters to do what we considered to be a fairly significant amount of work on the interior and exterior of our house. They removed acoustical ceiling material from several rooms, refinished and painted those ceilings and most of the walls in those rooms and they also painted the entire exterior of the house, including the wood trim. To say that my husband and I were completely satisfied with the work would be an absolute understatement. I don't think that I've ever encountered a crew of such hard-working, dedicated and respectful workers, and each member of the team exhibited remarkable workmanship in their abilities as well as a willingness to go above and beyond the "call of duty". We had a big job for SoCal Painters and needed it to be done relatively fast. We were moving into a new warehouse that was 22,000 square feet big with about 20+ feet high walls. Sam was able to do the job very professionally and in a very fast pace for a warehouse that big. A fantastic job removing the popcorn ceiling and painting the interior of our entire house. We appreciated David's time during the estimate - explaining the cost and helping us to identify the appropriate paint type for each room (honestly I had no idea about semi-gloss versus flat or how to address painting over old oil-based paint). After attempting to paint two rooms with my friends to save some money, I realized I had made a terrible mistake. Guys, "paint parties" shouldn't be a thing. David came to my rescue with a quote that beat the bids of the other places I contacted (both in cost and the length of the job), and talked me through picking out specific paint types. When he and Ariel arrived, they were very friendly and worked quickly. David helped me understand the issues with the previous paint jobs including my botched attempt. He also went above and beyond with the prep work, and gave a third coat of paint to one of the rooms for extra measure when I was only quoted for two coats per room.
